First off, he was a great character on Explosion. Confrontational, flirtacious, ambitious, and all around good guy. When he came onto the challenge everyone expected him to be a great competitor just like how everyone thought Zach would be the next CT. What did we get? Mediocre...
His endurance is trash, hes not a good puzzle person, and isnt that strong. I'll provide some details on the last one later because that's a bold statement.
1)His lack of endurance is evident. On the mountain climbing challenge his knee obviously was a problem and it slowed them down substaintially. To be honest they only won because Mitch solved the puzzle.
2)See above, not smart. Mitch did the puzzle in the final challenge and on the mountain challenge. Maybe he'll do more later but not looking good so far.
3)Not strong because the final, mountain challenge, others I cant name off the top of my head, and in the elimination vs nate. He could have so easily won that elimination since it involved strength but yet again his knee cost him it. I bet he's still shook that he lost to Nate! ***** at saying Nate beat Cory but it's facts.
Ok so yeah I dont like Cory. Almost forgot to mention I hate his basic slang and his humor. His confessionals bother me so much. Queen Ashley deserved a better partner. I don't hate this guy. He's not terrible or shitty much like alot of people in this thread are. But the reason why he ends up in this thread is the fact that for all but one challenge he's just been...there. Like he doesn't add anything or don't really do anything to stand out at all on the show. I did feel for Brandon a bit on Cutthroat because he pretty much became the male version of Sarah(Campus Crawl) and I don't think he deserved that. But other than that he just does...nothing.
But I will say that I think he could've been a bigger force in the game if people were willing to play strategic and think for themselves. Seemed like he'd be up for taking down the mob mentality that's rampid on this show.
I still don't get why Fat Vinny was even a challenge regular from that Fresh Meat 2 group and them bringing back Luke for Cutthroat. Would have been cool with Brandon/Pete/Noor being the challenge regulars. Everyone else could stay home. Including the Fresh Meat 2 females.

I think one other difference between the old school regulars like Miz, Coral, Abram, Veronica and these new regulars is that you can tell the old school ones could tolerate each other and even enjoy each other's company. so it doesn't make for such predictable tv unlike the current crop of regulars who all have one, played out role they have to bring every season.
Yep. And they thier roles(or more accuratley situations) actually changed from one season to another. Like with Miz for example. On Battle of the Seasons he was this egar young dude who really wanted to do well and took the competiton seriously. Then on The Gauntlet and Inferno he was more or less the leader of his teams then on Sexes 2 he wasn't the top dog and actually got voted out there. It wasn't just the same role and the same circumstances over and over like it is now. Everyone is always trying to get backpack out, CM is always the victim, Camilla is always the drunken ***** etc. It's just another thing to appreciate about the old challenges.
Also the regulars from the Old School era weren't on 10 consecutive shows. They took breaks, albeit short ones, but still.

It involved resistance more-so than strength. At least for when they were up on the bunge. You can be strong but not have good resistance. Just like you can be fast in sprints, but not endure a long lapse of running. So I don't fault him. I fault everyone that hyped him up.
