Inferno style seems most likely. A Heroes/Good Guys vs Villans/Bad Azzez style team challenge is easy to form around thematically.
Champs vs Contenders is only limited by the rarity of available unique female champs. The number is less than...like 15.
Don't see a Gauntlet Vets vs Rookies likely. Battle of the Seasons also seems illogical to me with the feeder shows being lost media. And doubt its Battle of the Sexes.

I agree I think inferno has the best chance, but I would love an old school gauntlet with no theme but RW vs RR
Building the season around Road Rules vs Real World is not being done BECAUSE you cannot have anyone under the age of 35. They want some pretty, more athletic younger people.
I've already said I would be fine settling for a RW vs. RR season that includes a few non RW/RR mfs to be on each team as wildcards. Kinda like Turbo, Dee, CT, and Ninja on Wotw2. I don't think age should be a factor though. All stars is meant to be watched by an older demographic anyway. And to be clear, I'd prefer a strictly RW vs. RR season. I'm just mentioning the idea of adding a few wildcards assuming it would increase the RW vs. RR concept's overall feasibility.

whar a ridiculous post. It screams shallowness and ageist.

I'm not saying it's a good or correct strategy. It's exactly why it's being done. I'm not ageist lol, I'm 35 as well.
Kailah's the youngest RW contestant to do a Challenge in the last 5 years. She's 32. Averey's the youngest RW contestant to do a Challenge in the last 2 years. She's 34. And they are the younger outliers.
Nia and Nany are 36 and Nia is retiring. Everyone else "young" is a year or two under 40.
The show deliberately made a move with Vets and New Threats to cast the rookies for the show under 30. It's the same casting director and staff for All Stars, they are not going to dramtically shift that rubric. There's one fanbase for The Challenge. They are unfortunately not going to pull in new viewers by bringing Julie, Irulan, Sarah, Susie, etc. So there's really no incentive to bring back more than 4ish new OGs every season to keep the diehard fans from complaining.
They are still producing an atheletically-themed show. The casual fanbase almost universally freaked out with that All Stars 5 Episode 2 heights daily that everyone quit. Era 1 got decimated on 40. They are going to build the show around athletic people on the younger side.

Kailah and Jenna are 32 close to some of the rookies debuting on the past 3 years even younger

Jenna hasn't done a Challenge in 5 years. Kailah in 3. And they are literally it for the youngest to ever do more than one season lol.

Age doesn't have a lot to do with athletcism
Yes it does lol. Why else did Era 1 flop? Why else hasn't Darrell won since 2005? Or Bananas only winning once since he hit 35? Tom Brady and Lebron are the outlier. Most professional athletes can't hang after 35. Less than 1% ever until 40. Even CT has fallen off a cliff recently and his prime shockingly lasted until 40.
We about to have pushing 50 year old's competiting with 20 somethings on the main show.... lets hope allstars remains carnival games for their sake and bones.

I mean the only players still in their 20's are a few of the Season 37/38/39ers, a few of the USA/WCers, and the New Threats from 41. It's probably less than 20, even less have a realistic shot of returning.
For reference just grabbing a couple of the promising "young people": Ravyn will be 29, Cassidy will be 30, Kelz will be 33 when 42 films. Like, these aren't young people anymore. Just babies in reference to the nursing home ages of our current veteran cast!
I don't think we'll see anyone under the age of 30 on All Stars 6.
They had Coral and Irulan then pushed it back giving her time to back out? She'll probably never return after seeing how she got jumped for hardly speaking on Nia. The fans today or too soft for Coral.
coral did a TikTok live yesterday and was happy to chat about the past and such. She's open to a challenge but it's hard due to owning a business and having an12 yr old daughter so she mentioned leaving for 8 weeks is kinda hard/not ideal...

Didn't someone from Era 1 win?
It's who they picked from Era 1 not their age.
CT is fat and out of shape--when he gets back into shape he'll be fine. Jodi is still a great competitor. I mean, they had Katie, Aneesa, Tina, an injured Derrick and an outshape CT

rachel went from 3rd to 1st bc of karma points. She did not do spectacular all final long and she's in great shape which is crazy

Did Rachel win? Younger people have completely flopped in finals. Even people like Abram had DQd in finals. Rachel and several other "older" cast members are still good competitors.

age does not matter one ounce, but it does to you sportsman and that's fine. It's your opinion. Mine is that it doesn't, comparing anyone on these shows to people who play professional sports is laughable, even though they call it a sport it's not, it's a competition show that involved not just physical ability but also mental & social ability.
In terms of Season 40 - era 1 had horrible communication plus a few weak leaks - but honestly they lost the most people the quickest because the other eras smelled blood and just decided to get rid of the team first, had era 2, 3, or 4 had the same outcome in the first two challenges the same would have happened. and Rachel one because of Karma points but she also proved age doesn't matter because she beasted most people in a lot of challenges and even with out the karma points still ranked higher than most ladies this season.

And without that karma point, she would’ve finished 3rd losing to Michele, a girl who works out once a month and drinks wine every afternoon.

I agree. I still don't know why they haven't done a simple RW vs. RR when they genuinely have enough mfs for it.
right? Makes no sense
I'm just happy with the possibility of some real old schoolers--thought that was about done

If I am not Jenna is the youngest RW? Is crazy to think she was just 20 on explosion
What's even crazier is if she films AS6, she'll have been gone for almost as long as she was on the show. Time is crazy.
There was a time I never thought we would get rid of jenna lol. Zach also hasn't been on the show in 6 years time flies
Age doesn't have a lot to do with athletcism
If the cast is going to be similar as AS5 then they can keep it.
Is this still slated to film before 42? I'm assuming yes, but that's a real shame since 41 is giving the flagship a new spark
