Leroy is no more of a flop then he already was. Don't know why he thought he'd win, or why the editors act like he's the only father of the series.
Right. Like, Kingston is cute, but multiple other challengers have kids and we never saw them. Of course, it's possible the other parents on the show didn't want to show their kids?
veronica and Nicole are idiots for choosing the marble game over simply hammering 3 nails....
Tbh for Veronica I got it as I don't know if she was strong enough to hammer those nails efficiently? Nicole surprised me, though.
Lmao even when Leroy competes the best on day 1, because he cant win a janky *** game he is called a flop. My mans cant beat the allegations for nothing.
Anyways those advantages were weird but I guess it showed that having the most doesnt really matter. However even if the advantages didnt exist I still believe either Steve or Laurel wouldve won. Laurel's disadvantage to using her stars was that she never saw the pipe puzzle until the last time when she had to complete it, so ofcourse the other challengers will have an advantage over her. But anyways I hate this win for Laurel cause all the braindeae Cara fans are gonna say she only won based on advantages lmaoo
The second part of the final was wacky, but whatever... I wanted Steve to win despite knowing the spoilers....Laurel & Cara really have an insane friendship/rivalry...I didn't think they would say a word to each other .... Cara should've beat her *** at the finish line.
Also in hindsight I dont think Veronica was dumb for choosing the hammer game, it was clear that it was the worst game according to the challengers. Veronica's time was comparable to Steve's time so its clear Nicole screwed it up for them. And well Laurel beasted it *****.
Let's also talk about how Laurel intentionally avoided elimination all seasons despite TJ repeatedly telling people to earn a star, to only then get a last minute chance to earn a star and to then be given 3 more stars. Steve and Cara won multiple eliminations to keep/get a star, only to have someone else fly by them without having to see elimination. That latter part was a reward for Laurel bringing literal losers with her to the final as opposed to keeping stronger people around. It was just a really stupid set up.

How was that a disadvantage? They all went through a first time of seeing it, too, and having to figure it out. Laurel's first time just came later on, but it wasn't her having to do something they didn't do as they all still had to figure it out at some point. Laurel got to get away ahead when the rest of them were figuring it out the first time. And even though they had seen it, they still had to spend time putting the puzzle together on each loop. Even if it then only took them 1-2 minutes to do it each time after the first time, that's like 5 minutes of puzzle time that Laurel didn't have to do. Add 5 minutes to her final time and does she still win?
Lmao even when Leroy competes the best on day 1, because he cant win a janky *** game he is called a flop. My mans cant beat the allegations for nothing.
I can't call him a flop for this one. Additionally had Steve used his stars correctly and won, it would have been cool that Leroy's star may have been the difference (though I still wouldn't have liked the premise of the advantages lol).
Leroy being a "flop" is overblown. He's not like Nany where he has outwardly BAD performances in challenges, it just comes from him not winning.
If he deserves to be criticized for anything, it's being Bananas's lapdog.
oh but Tori is a flop in the usa2 final bc she can't throw an axe?? If you want to criticize, KEEP THAT SAME ENERGY with the same carnival style challenges??
I have my criticisms of Lee but the lapdog comments don't really apply anymore.
Last time they did a season together was WOTW2 and Leroy was in the opposite alliance. Now let's talk about his challenge performance because this season was such a step back after DA.
oh but Tori is a flop in the usa2 final bc she can't throw an axe?? If you want to criticize, KEEP THAT SAME ENERGY with the same carnival style challenges??
Not because of the stupid axe, but because of her embarrassing performance in the spelling portion and the strength portion at the beginning.
I thought the final was confusing and/or badly edited, the laps were impossible to keep track of because they barely showed anyone running.
It was definitely poorly edited. TJ's explanation said they had to do 5 loops, with each loop adding a challenge. I guess the physical loop was just the star or whatever, but it's hard to know because as you said they didn't really show us the players doing the actual loop. The loop 1 challenge was just drinking/eating, though. Loop 2 was that plus the pipe puzzle. Loop 3 were those two challenges plus the rock stack (speaking of, what was the point of having the rocks in worms if the players got to wear gloves?). Loop 4 was those 3 challenges plus the stack puzzle. Loop 5 was those 4 challenges plus the rings. So, Laurel skipped the pipe puzzle on loops 2-4 and then the rings on loop 5. Steve absentmindedly didn't skip anything until loop 5 and then tried to skip 2 things and ultimately only skipped the pipe puzzle. Cara skipped the rings on loop 5, so ultimately she did the pipe puzzle 3 more times than Laurel.

I love how advantages never significantly help in a final except this one, where it was a huge advantage.
i heard a fan theory that either laurel or ryan heard production mention 8 stars or that tj flubbed it one time, and thats how ryan and laurel were so confident they had another opportunity. It doesnt make sense to me otherwise.
also its so interesting how laurel is so nasty to cara but the moment nicole is gone, she's celebrating her. Fakeeee
This season HAD potential, but production dropped the ball.
poor editing (despite 1 1/2 years to do so) and a dumb carnival game final when this final had the youngest people compared to other All Stars seasons.
This was one of the worst finals in modern era, and that's saying something.
I was really excited to see Laurel win, because while she's problematic I've never neeeded my reality stars to be saints and she brings competition/mess -- but that was honestly embarassing that two other people out performed her but she got the win. Like it makes no sense that someone would get penalized because their friends were better in the final than someone elses.
A rare objectively correct statement from Cara noting that it paid to be friends with losers.

No shes a flop because she got dusted when she ran against 3 rookies who never ran a full final. She showed that she only looks strong next to flops. USA2 final wasnt even a horrible showing for her, however for her to have the most experience, its laughable she only excelled at that puzzle checkpoint.
Casuals thought Chanelle was weak and wouldve died that final so for their wonder woman Tori to be out first was hilarious.
That left a sour taste in my mouth for Steve. Ace was the star of the season and the lack of conversation around him confuses me. Was he this weird in earlier seasons? I don't remember him at all.. only remember his name. I don't think Cara would've won you saw how slow she runs?

Ironically, I think getting a star from Leroy messed him up. Having an extra star made him think having two stars in the final loop was a good thing.

If it had been the same final just without the star twist, I think Steve wins but Cara is second. They both almost won even with that twise, which kind of shows up much Laurel didn't perform well (a rarity). I also wouldn't say Cara was slow, she was just pacing herself which was a good strategy for her to conserve energy. I think WOTW and WOTW2 finals showed her that pacing is key for her cause a steady pace is better than being fast (see also Paula, Diem to a degree).
But still, Steve is the one really robbed with the star format. It was so dumb. It would have made more sense that the winner of the checkpoint got the loser's star instead of friends deciding. It really did hurt to have better performing friends in the game, in the case of Steve/Ace/Cara who were closer to each other (and others who left) than losers in the final.
god damn it i realized i forgot to cancel my membership again so now i have a whole month to watch shit....guess i'll watch this final but from what i see i'm not missing out on much
Right. Like, Kingston is cute, but multiple other challengers have kids and we never saw them. Of course, it's possible the other parents on the show didn't want to show their kids?

Just another season ruined by a terrible edit and stupid final. At least Skye is consistent.
Finals are always so boring to me, like what was the last entertaining final?
I enjoyed the All-Stars 1 final.

I liked the day 1 format I'd like to see more competitions like that especially non timed ones so we get legit results.
