Damon isn't really evil. He just pretends to be.

I would like to say Kevin Williamson is doing a great job with this show....though is to be expected with his past work on such shows as Dawson's Creek.

It kind of separates the show from twilight, that everything isn't all hearts and flowers and its not going to be okay in the end.

The series is more interesting than Twilight.

But if you ask people who watch the show and read/watch twilight..I bet you the majority prefer VD. Stephanie Meyers said she actually got the idea from from Vampire Dairies. I think they are both completely different regardless.

But yes, Nina does have a huge fan base because she plays this much role so much better than she plays Mia in degrassi. Never thought I would become a fan of Nina. Ever. I like that her character cares about her family and friends, and her whole world does not revolve around her boyfriend.

I like how her ancestors had ties to/knew the Salvatores. I hope that they focus on her character more as the series goes on.

The Salvator brothers have the best stories as the show hinges on them. Also it's cool how a hundred or so years can make brothers so different.

Two weeks, I can make it.

That was amazing. Next episodes looks dumb though.

Tonight was a great episode. I felt bad for Lexi's boyfriend... and I can't believe that Elena is adopted!!!

I hope that they focus on her character more as the series goes on.[/QUOTE] Bonnie is my favorite too, I actually like Emily too even though I think she had one line and was generally freaky acting (but I think that has more to do with my Buffy love than the actually Emily character). I really want to see Bonnie get ultra powerful and maybe hang Damon from the rafters for a little bit. I like Damon but he gets a bit campy sometimes, plus I wasn't feeling him ripping Bree's guts out like that in the end. I was hoping Gina Torres was recurring, kind of waste they could've gotten anyone to play that role instead of having a seasoned somewhat known actress. I know the bad guys are always fun but does he have to kill someone in every freakin episode (especially the people I actually like), can't he snack on a bunny and just calm down on occassion? I don't mind Nina/Elena, I just still wish they had made her closer to the book and then showed her growing as a character but she's okay. I liked her more this episode interacting with Damon, getting drunk and not just giving sad puppy dog eyes for 45 minutes. I like her as Katherine as well. I liked Stephen more this episode too. . I think maybe I prefer Elena and Stephen apart, when they're together there's too much puppy dog sad eye action going on. The scene between Stephen and "Sheila" aka Grams was interesting, does anyone else get the feeling he might have tapped that? I liked the Alaric reveal, I'm rooting for him to give Damon a taste of his own medicine. I know that they're heading down the road of an Alaric/Jenna pairing but I'm just not that interested in Jenna. Can they give her a storyline besides the cool parent with bad taste in men. Still hoping the guy in the road is Klaus but it didn't really look like him. . .

I'm not as excited for this week's episode as I was for last week's, but hopefully it's a good one. It's crazy how all these new vampires are mysterious and seems like they are all after the tomb! This episode has left me with alot of speculation... Those are some cool spoilers, I read them a few days ago.

I am so confused!!!! If Isabel is Elena's mom, why does she look like Katherine? It doesn't make sense!

And I'm having second thoughts about Alaric being the dad... Didn't Damon kind of joke that Katherine could have had a kid while she was human? Maybe she did and that may make her a descendent of Elena. Ahhh!! It's so mysterious!!!

I'm pretty sure that we're going to find out that Elena is like a super great granddaughter of Katherine's. I'm interested in finding out who these new vamps are and why they're in town. I just had an idea. Maybe Damon knew Isabel was a decendent of Katherine and he killed her on purpose..... hmm...
