hahaha one day... ive watched the first episode 3 times now... somethiing about it just doesn't grab me. At least not like Fargo. Maybe after exams in two weeks ill give it one more shot.
I was hooked after this:
I think you'll get into it more by the end of the second episode. The end of four will have you on the edge of your seat, and five has some of the best writing and acting I have ever seen. Ever.
YAYYYY RACHEL!!!!! <3 Okay now i'm definitely watching this... just gonna skip season 1 lol couldn't get into it
Mhmmm... knew it. Deal-breaker... To have the audacity to say Fargo is better when you have not even seen the glorious cinematography of episode 4, nor the absolute divinity of episode 5... Your opinion has been rendered invalid.
To be fair Fargo is freaking amazing, though not on True Detective's level IMO.
I didn't know this, but season one was initially planned to be set in Arkansas. The Ozarks would have been a fantastic setting for True Detective. Season 3 perhaps?

Maybe, is there a story behind that?
Pizzolato changed his mind and wanted a southern gothic mystery (and better tax credits in Louisiana). Arkansas and Missouri have lots of legends and folktales. And the rural settings would make solving a case a much more difficult task. Miles and miles of untouched land and forests.

Sounds like a pretty cool location to me. Hopefully they do something with that for season 3
Lee will play Richard Geldof, a state attorney general with specific political ambitions. Smooth and polished, well-spoken and intelligent, and an unmoored moral compass.

Saw this yesterday awesome! Did they ever say what role he would be playing?
I really can't wait until we actually get to see some footage from Season 2. So far all the actors & actresses have given the script for season 2 high praises.
Rick Springfield was decent on Californication season 3, so he should be a welcomed addition to True Detective season 2.
I forgot he was on Californication. I didn't watch past season 1 though.
I love that show even know it ended at season 7 last January. I liked that it kinda gave you inside look into the Hollywood scene when it came to parties, the writing & movie process & all the ****** up shit that comes with it.
More character details for the second season of True Detective, but basically the same crap we already know. I really wish they would put more images up or some actual footage of season 2.
Just finished making my parents watch TD. My dad's immediate smartass remark? "Too much nakedness." Hahaha! They loved it though, especially my mom which was surprising. Errol Childress and his half-sibling lover whom he "makes flowers" on will forever haunt their dreams though...
Early reports are pointing to True Detectives season three to be fast-tracked into production with two leads: Justin Bieber and Martha Stewart. That may seem odd to some, but viewers of Justin Bieber’s recent Comedy Central Roast would be hard-pressed to deny that the two have a certain on-screen chemistry. These same sources are saying that season three of True Detective will take the two detectives — one a retired elementary school teacher now working as a P.I and the other a college student with a difficult past — travel around the country searching for a mysterious killer...

Rachel McAdams confirmed?? Finally a reason to watch this again...

Plus I live in Southern Missouri, so I'd be able to spy on them!
Lol nice. Can't beat that, someone with an inside scoop!
'True Detective' Season 2 casts 'Dexter' Alum C.S. Lee

Rick Springfield Joins True Detective
Was not expecting that one!

Summer of 2015 can't get here quick enough.
Season 2 of True Detective could see the return of the "Yellow King"!

Interesting. I was expecting some sort of Lovecraftian inspiration.
Speaking of the Yellow King, some guy that looked like Errol Childress was in one of my classes today... I cried.
Are you serious lol? I would have got the **** out of there haha!
A little more info on season 2 & set pictures.

True Detective has cast **** stars for a giant **** scene... lovely.
True Detective Season 2: Cults, Cars, & Route 666
I love where this is going. Especially with the possible inspiration from the longstanding GM conspiracy.
I LITERALLY CANNOT EVEN WITH THESE SEASON THREE RUMORS.
True Detective Season 3: Justin Bieber and Martha Stewart?
I didn't watch the Roast, so I have no clue if this "chemistry" is legit. BUT...
OH. MY. ****.
Pizzolatto has lost his damn mind...
LMAO that's a late april fools joke for sure.
Btw, when the hell do they plan to announce the premiere date for season 2.
