This is great news that there finally finishing the casting process. I am so excited for season 2 & hopefully they will start filming very soon in order to release it on time.
I'm really excited for Kelly Reilly to be a season regular, I liked her in both Sherlock Holmes movies. It'll also be interesting to see how Leven Rambin performs, she didn't get to do a whole lot in her short-lived (pun intended) Hunger Games stint.
I just hope there are a lot of twist & turns in season 2 that keep me on the edge of my seat for the entire season. Which is the way i prefer all detective shows.
With Pizzolato only planning 3 seasons I've seen lots of talk about the possibility of a graphic novel continuation. I'm not opposed to that one bit. I was never one to read graphic novels or comics, but Y: The Last Man has completely changed my perspective on them!

Logan Marshall-Green - Rookie Homicide Detective & former patrol officer is assigned to a veteran detective who just lost his partner in a murder connected to a serial murder case. Has anyone heard whether season 2 of True Detective has started filming yet?
They had a table read on Friday, but filming has yet to begin.
That's cool just wish they would get a move on things. The longer it takes to film the longer we have to to wait to watch it.
Production should start very soon though, so things should pick up in a week or two.
