Sandra, Mark Wales & Sam Gash are the only known alumni at the moment, and then there's a few D list Aussie celebs/influencers that I don't remember. There might be more Au alumni that aren't as easy to figure out as Mark and Sam are

If I start Survivor Australia where is a good starting season? Don't think I want to start from the beginning but also would like to start at a point that I see the beginnings of any recent repeat players. Huge fan of US version since season 1 and been putting off Australia for too long.

There were 2 early seasons in the 2000s that have nothing to do with the current ones. The new show started in 2016 and All Stars (season 5) had returning players from each of the 4 previous ones. Season 1(2016) is pretty weak in my opinion, with cutthroat gameplay being depised by most of the cast in favor of 'mateship' so you may want to start with season 2 which I loved and had a great cast IMO, but there were 5 people from season 1 who've returned.

Tought question. I haven't watched the season since it aired 5 years ago but I wasn't happy with her win at the time, though am fine with it now. Did she deserve to win over Lee? Absolutely, Lee sat behind his allies who made the decisions and was the main preacher of mateship which was great for him since he was always in the core of the majority. But from what I remember Kristie had very little agency in the game, always in the minority but never a main target since nobody viewed her as a threat. She deserves credit for sticking around long enough for Flick & Brooke to turn on eachother, but also put herself in a terrible spot by voting flick out at 4 and going to the top 3 with Lee & El, giving her a very small chance of actually making final 2, though she pulled off the unlikely victory at 3 so, again, credit to her. Very good final tribal performance though, the jury already didn't care for Lee and she said what she needed to to win them to her side.
I'd put her ahead of Shane for sure as far as winners go, but probably still below Jericho & Pia
Not y'all spoiling for the girl asking which season to start. Anyways just start on the 2016 season it is good. If you feel like giving up then at least watch the finale it was super dramatic and a classic final immunity game that we will never see in modern Survivor ever again.
All of the rebooted episodes of Aussie Survivor and the 3 recent Survivor SA seasons are on Paramount+. Hopefully they add the older Survivor SA seasons.
Kristie is probably the most bizarre winner, lol. The Survivor SA6 winner is incredibly bizarre too. When will USA Survivor keep up?! I love international versions way more than the US one.
Queen Kristie really was at the bottom then got somewhat carried to the end expecting to lose. Iconic Genius she was/is. Can't wait to see her play again.
I've never been less excited for a season. The monster tease has completely turned me off. Hopefully I'm wrong tho and it's a great season.
I honestly prefer season 42's cast but I'm still going to watch.

She won't play again, fyi. She declined All-Stars, her mental health post show hasn't been 100%.
