Survivor: Generic Thread (No Spoilers)

I hope Sandra makes it at least to merge along with Nina I like them both. 

I'm keeping Sandra till final 6 before I cut her. If you are loyal to her she is loyal to you, a great ally. 

Agreed, plus she's a way bigger target than you in any swap or merge situation where you're down in numbers. Voting her out this early unless she's tageting you is foolish

WOW. That edit had me CONVINCED Sandra was a goner. I was so sad all episode. The Queen Stays Queen.

I've only watched the Sarah Tilleke season, part of the Tsunami Survivor girl season, and this one but gosh the Australian Survivor is so superior to the American version. The challenges are 100x better. I miss the physical wrestling comps. The cast seems more strategic without creating a whole fake persona or being extra. The host is 100000x better than Probst. It's just so good. Anyone recommend any seasons to watch or skip?

I watched s3-5 a couple years ago and enjoyed all 3. Expesially s3 personally. Didn't watch anything after s5

Skip all stars imo

Watch Champions vs Contenders 1 & 2. The second Champions vs Contenders has horrible editing BUT it has legends like Janine Allis. Shonee-Stars is amazing if you watch just for Shonee....you have been warned, lol.  

Brains vs Brawns was alright. They made the Survivor format take a backseat for a ton of merge episodes to do stupid twists, hated that aspect.

Lol that season shouldn't have been called "All-Stars" 

AU Survivor All stars kind of sucked! The winner was kind of predictable. 

Survivor 42 cast was released. Not shockingly but the girls side looks stacked while the guys side looks bland af. Maryanne, Tori, and Drea are my preseason favs.

Agreed, wish they'd have waited another season for all stars once they realized they didn't have Luke, Sarah, Benji, Pia, Kristie, Tessa, Janine, maybe a couple others I'm forgetting. There was too much filler and they pretty much all ended up in Dave's alliance that made it to the endgame

And I saw online Sandra already has 17 more confessionals than she did in HvV. Yes some of it's repetitive like we see often on this show (Dave in AS being the best example) but I really feel like this is the first time we're seeing just how skilled she is at this game

Game Changers showed that already. 

If Sandra plays with a group who has no idea who she is, she wins or makes it deep every time.

I don't have an issue with that. People take the term All-Stars too seriously. I don't know who this person is but if you are a good personality and show strategic promise but get booted early for whatever reason I'm down to see you back.

he didn't have a good personality, he just got dysentery after being voted out of his first season and they felt bad so they brought him back. he was actually the worst character on all stars and contributed to ruining the season 

but i agree with your point - if an early boot was entertaining im all for bringing them back. for example, i'd rather see alecia (5th boot) back on survivor than julia (7th place).

They network were really trying to act as though "challenge beasts" and early boots are all stars just for that lmaoo
