I know right Veronica and Derrick seemed to take care of Veronica. How does Tonya repay her? Tonya picks a fight with her.
I read Tonya's blog which was pathetic. Veronica wasn't bullying anybody on this challenge! Tonya brought all this crap up out of nowhere. Not to mention it was posted here how Tonya and Ev went into the challenge looking to take Veronica out first (remember Ev was "studying" Veronica's game). Tonya clearly came into the challenge to pick a fight with Veronica.
I have no sympathy for Tonya. Lets look back to the Inferno where Veronica was actually a bully to Katie, Veronica tried to get Katie to hit her and Katie never did, Katie had control. Tonya needs to learn control.
The facts are these Tonya picked a fight with the wrong person, a person who wasn't going to back down and Veronica got in the last word. Had Tonya let the past be the past, Tonya would still be on that challenge.
I really hope Veronica brings law action up against Tonya, just like Megan is doing against Sharon Osbourne.
I think law action is completely unnecessary, Veronica already got what she wanted, Tonya away from the challenge. So why bring up law action when you know the person you'll be accusing already has enough problems.

Why would Veronica? You said Tonya should let the past be the past, and what Tonya did to V on the ruins is now considered the past, so V should let the past be the past and not drag it on anymore. And besides, I hate it when people talk ****, act tough, insult people and then when it somewhere crosses the line for the person they are insulting and he/she hits them, they ****** and bring in the law. That's a load of bs. If you don't wanna get hit, then don't bother with the other person. This goes for everyone on the challenges, and even other reality shows. Adam RR, Adam RW, Veronica, Beth, etc. in a way got what they had coming. They either insulted someone or got in their face. Who likes it when people do that to them? No one.

Because it's true. I don't have specific names cause it isn't like I write down a list of these people. Well, you're wrong in saying that it makes us hypocrites, but you are right in saying it makes us biased. But that doesn't me. Couldn't you say your favorite of anything (movies, music, ice cream) makes you biased for it and/or against other types? Are you not more forgiving of things / people that you have a personal liking towards? That's just the nature of the beast. ;)

The JEK group has been running the show for about 6 seasons now, how are we supposed to enjoy watching it for the 6th straight season? I know and understand they're doing it for the money and not for our enjoyment, but it really blows from a viewer's perspective. Even Veronica's clique didn't have an unrelenting stronghold on the show -- they occasionally got overthrown and they didn't whine, cry, and act like self-entitled brats about it. I don't think any of that is hypocritical, just a different perspective.

Why do people keep saying JEK have been running the show for 6 seasons? This is THE FIRST TIME all 3 have been in the top alliance. Johnny and Kenny were both ran the Island, and Evan was part of the alliance that ran the duel. There has been no other season they have ran it. Kenny and Evan hardly ran G3. Johnny or Kenny did not run their teams on I3. None of them ran Duel 1. You can maybe say Evan ran Fresh Meat, but that was only because he kept winning.
morris614 you are absolutly right. I think the issue is people know that JEK happen to be good friends outside of the show so whenever they are on a challenge together we know there going tp try to win together. I also think people just don't like them.

Is this too far off topic? But, it was exactly what I said. I said I root for the people I like and think that's normal. He said what I said in my last post. You can agree with him, that's fine. But that would be contradicting what you said about movies or ice cream flavors being your favorite so you pick them over others. Anyways, there are a lot of biased flip floppers on this forum. on [B]FM,[/B] as a rookie, he was a top contender and was forced to retire due to his and his partner's medical injuries.. on[B] Duel 1[/B] he was also a top contender and got beat by a greater contender (CT) after been outwitted by another great contender (Wes).. .. On [B]Gauntlet 3[/B], he was undisputely one of the leaders of the strong team that made it to the end, and only lost because Eric had to be medic-evac from the challenge.. and he won [B]Duel 2[/B], where he was a strong favorite from the start against some pretty amazing rivals..
On [B]the Ruins[/B], he is currently one of the masterminds and point man of the Champions Team, and i think is a safe bet he will oulast Veronica.. (even though she did manage to take advantage of his weakness for veterans alpha-females to get a little protection from him).. even those who dislike Evan cant deny he is a great competitor both in a physical and on an intellectual levels..

I think people just like Veronica because she's been away for awhile. Rewind during the Gauntlet/Inferno days and you would probably find these people rooting for Katie and saying how much they hate that b-word Veronica. But these people are all still the same people!
Anyway, I think Tonya and Veronica were both in the wrong, but I'm still confused as to why Veronica was singled out to be so horrible when she got attacked. And so far all these people are prepared to say Veronica said something so horrible, but yet they won't even expose what she said. These people who are virtually shameless and talk horrible things about each other all the time in faces or behind backs. It just seems to me people were thinking about the camera time. All of them. Tonya, Veronica, and Evan and his crew.
And I feel really sorry for Tonya and think she needs help but she does have the history of loving to play victim. On the inferno 2 the "mean girls" were mean to her, but Tonya seemed to revel in being the victim of the challenge. She wanted to be the outcast like Katie was on The Inferno because she wanted to get camera time and have everyone at home root for her. This is because she is a very troubled person who lacks love in her life and needs attention.
If what Veronica said was so horrible why doesn't Tonya just say what it is? Maybe because it's not anything more horrible than what others have said about her. I guess it makes it seem really awful by just saying it's too horrible to repeat and she succeeds in getting everyone to feel sorry for her and sympathize with her because it goes back to getting people to love her. Which is what she wants.

There[I] is [/I]such a thing as something being too horrible to repeat. I would assume Veronica brought up something she knew about Tonya that was on a very personal level. I'm sure there is a good reason why the comment wasn't aired. Tonya repeating it just to justify her actions would possibly do her more harm than good. Just something to think about...
I think Evan is a good competitor in most categories. But if a one on one elimination round would be some wrestle/physical thing, I think he could lose to Brad, Derrick, Darrell and Wes. Simply because I think he misses the fire in his mind to really go for it. Like Derrick on Gauntlet 2 where he was the underdog in the first 3 Gauntlets, but he won not because he was physically stronger than Adam, Ace and Syrus, but because of his determination and desire to win and be the best.

To win a group challenge is a lot easier than winning an individual challenge like The Duel. In the Challenge 2000 there weren't any eliminations or face-offs which made it a lot easier to just slide in through the end. In The Inferno and The Gauntlet she never went into a face-off. Every challenge Veronica has been on in which she has had to compete on her own (BOTS1 and 2) she has been sent home.
I'm not a fan of Evan but the idea that Veronica is a better competitor than him sounds way off to me. From JEK I think Evan is actually the strongest and only actually proven competitor. I would without a doubt put Even in the top tier of better players in this game. Not only is he strong and a good competitor but the guy is smart as hell. Evan knows how to play this game as if he had invented it. I can't stand the guy but credit should be given where it's due.
Veronica to me is an average or maybe slightly above average competitor who knows to how to play the game to some extent and who was gotten lucky to have been part of strong teams. That's all. I also think that it's a lot easier for an average or maybe even mediocre female competitor to just slide in and make it to the end and win than it is for a guy. Katie, Johanna, Janelle, Susie, Ibis, just to name a few, are girls who have won challenges and whom I consider average competitors at best. Neither of them would stand a chance of winning a Duel type of challenge.

I think others were saying that Veronica is a better social player/manipulator then JEK. Which I disagree with.
Veronica won many many lifesavers, don't forget about that. Only 1 of them was when the team threw it, all of the other times were won fairly. She was only eliminated in BOTS1 because of personal reasons, not because she was a bad competitor. BOTS2 she admitted she sucked lol. BOTseasons she was eliminated because she was a threat competition wise.
The only reason that Veronica never went to a Gauntlet was because Sarah kept coming back. Veronica kept getting a lot of votes because basically everybody on her team (besides Rachel) hated her. But they'd rather sacrifice Sarah than Veronica.
