That's rough for Dustin, I feel bad actually, and I really didn't think I would.
If I were in the house, I think I would've let this whole thing phase me for maybe 10 minutes, then shrugged it off... If the roommates are so about getting to know each other and what not, they should do the same...
That was so adult of Leroy to pull him aside and say that he is cool with him no matter what. Leroy is awesome! Than Dustin denies it than immediately contradicts what he just said again. It's hard to feel for Dustin when he keeps saying one thing and than a second later denying what he just admitted.
Love Leroy, and his talk with Dustin makes me love him even more.
Agreed, and I thought he would have the worst reaction out of anyone. The way he came and talked to Dustin one on one showed a lot of growth on his part.

Where is Cooke during this?
I'm sure she's there, it's just not as important or as drama filled as this storyline.
I don't understand why people like Nany have to say he's such a big ***** because he didn't tell anyone. It's not like he had to or anything and considering he never told anyone in his family, I don't see why he'd be ready and willing to tell people he had known for a couple of weeks first.
Yeah yeah I get the whole "well he was homophobic" thing, but come on. If you did gay **** for four years when you weren't gay, you'd probably come out of it terrified of other gay people too.
I'd be totally surprised if i was in that house, but other than Heather, i'd be like OK let's move on after a day or even talking to him a couple times. Ultimately no one besides Heather really got to know him so extremely well to that point to be betrayed at least so it was made to seem and based on Leroy/Mike being such good friends and Mike/Dustin not getting along. So I agree with Leroy's point of view, he just has to be honest with himself and let's move on. Him being so judgmental towards certain people just shows his insecurities and most people who are that anti anything, have a reason for it.

Why would he be terrified of gay people? He was living with other "straight guys", remember?
No, he did not.
Not in so many words but the part where he said if it's true he was "living a double life"...what else would that suggest?
Why would Dustin leave??
Because he feels uncomfortable as hell and he knows that his roommates know that he lied to all of them.

Exactly what it sounds like...that he's living two separate lives that have now been thrust (no pun intended) together in a really awkward moment.
For some reason I keep imagining how things would have been if Dustin were in the same situation but in the Cancun RW cast (say replacing Derek). I think they would have all been a lot more respective.
Random, but I liked that cast a lot!

Do you mean with the cast, or because Derek was gay?
At one point he had to have realized that he was auditioning to go on NATIONAL television and that it was bound to get out sometime in the near future. Someone, somewhere was going to recognize him on their TV set.
