I don't disagree with that but at the same time if that stuff isn't real, what else isn't real? It is just a TV show and Ryan is out to sell as many copies of his book as possible and she is out to book as many appearances as possible. At some point it will reach a tipping point and the frustration from the fleeting fame will bring all that crap out again. Either way, you guys see it lasting forever with fairy dust and 100 babies. I do not.
LOL, when I say Baya + Ryan forever, its not meant to be taken serious.
Who said what isn't real? Most of us don't know Baya or Ryan personally so we are making a lot of assumptions off of 1 hour edited footage and a couple of dailies here and there.
I could see if you knew them personally and you said it wouldn't work out but I'm guessing you don't.
The shows been over for months now, so we don't know how they act when they are around each other. Although I'm sure they don't dwell on the squabbles they got into on their season, considering they finished taping last november. They most likely have other important things to worry about.

My last comment on this topic. I really don't care if they make it or not. I guess I always hope for the best and expect the worst. They have been a "couple" in the reality tv sphere since the reunion in April even though they seemed to be sort of on the fence about that. Since then he lists himself as single on myspace and she has lamented about being single. He made that post less than a month ago. Since then he has come home and spent time with her. Fantastic. Maybe they are still figuring it out, maybe some other aspect to it. Doesn't matter to me in the grand scheme of thing, but I think it is premature for people to think that they are some great couple. Life is messy.

Maybe it could be
1) Ba-ry, with the 'a' long and the 'y' as a long 'i'.
2) Ryya, with the first 'y' as long 'i' and the second as normal y sound.
3) Bayan.
The third is probably the best, but I don't know if Ryan would like second billing.
I don't think Baya would go for the 100 babies thing, but maybe 3 or 4 baby Conklins would be about right.
Ryan would be an amazing dad. His kids would be so lucky to have him as a father. Not only would they be raised well with good values, but they would have so much fun with him. He would be teaching them to play pranks on Baya while they were still in the crib, and he would push them around in their stollers while they wear big fake mustaches. Of course they might have some learning problem with tying shoelaces as they come to think that it is normal for them to be tied backwards. And they will surely learn the lesson, don't wake daddy when he's sleeping.

More likely he would dress them up as Zouaves and let them run up and down the Round Tops until they were exhausted. Regardless, he probably will be a good dad one day. Aunt Chet can babysit :)
Unfortunately, I never got in on friending Ryan on Facebook until it was too late. So, I never know what he posts there unless someone else repeats it. Can anyone who has access tell me if he has posted anything there about what he has been doing while in the U.S. the last two weeks?

I've tried that before and it says that I need to be friends with Ryan to see his page and I think he can't accept anymore friends because he has the max amount (at least that is the reason I tell myself and it has nothing to do with him rejecting me...).
Does anyone else find it quite odd and very uncharacteristic that neither Chet nor Scott, both prolific videographers, didn't record (or least didn't post) anything of Ryan when he was in NYC?
Scott posts all kinds of videos and promotes his YT a lot to get people to go there and watch his vids. A Ryan video would have been a big draw. However, instead of a Ryan vid, we got a tweet that people should look at a older vid of his, showing his dog snatching a toy from a bigger dog's mouth. Now seriously, which subject would have gotten more viewers?
After Ryan's video update from early August, Scott publicly posted not one, but two videos in response. So he certainly understood the interest. All we got though was a tweet that he was "hanging out" with Ryan and Baya and then later that they were watching Hook. That's all for Ryan's R&R, the second biggest Ryan story of 2009.
It's strange that someone didn't at least record something on a cellphone camera when Ryan wasn't looking, if there were some reason why Ryan would be avoiding the camera.
The Chet situation was even weirder. He wrote that he only spend a short time with Ryan. Then he goes to Boston for a big chunk of the time. All the while tweeting and doing other stuff like he couldn't care less. Reminder: on Scott's vid of himself, Baya and Chet sending hello to Ryan, Chet said "I'll slit my throat!" if he couldn't spend time with Ryan when Ryan returned.
They can live their lives however they choose, but as an observer, I can comment that it just doesn't add up from how we have seen them behave before. Something had to be in play behind the scenes.
I commented earlier that I thought something weird was going on because Chet hasn't tweeted anything about Ryan. Interesting.

Chett and Ryan breaking up (their friendshp) would be worse than Nicole and Paris :( I wouldnt know who to side with unlike Paris vs. Nicole because obviously Nicole is better.

How do you know they don't use....um, email. Not everything is meant for public consumption - especially when it comes to a bromance.
Okay, I've written several paragraphs about how much it really bothers me that people were allowed by Ryan to believe that Ryan was in Baghdad on 9/11 of all days, but I've decided not to post it. I'll just say it will take awhile to get over that. If someone advised him not to say anything for a few days and to continue to let people worry about him being harm's way, then that was some very bad and very callous advice.
