What did Sarah say on Sarah behalf? WQhat did Ryan say when Baya took up for Sarah?
Baya said something to Ryan and as I recall, he nodded his head to her... like she had just put him quietly in his place. I don't understand your first question, sorry.
Excuse my typo, I'm typing to fast. What did Baya say on Sarah's behalf?
Is that the one on MTV? There is a three minute trailer on MTV, but thats been up there for a long time.
The cast and studio audience saw video that is not on MTV.com. Most of it was cut from the most physical of the Duels and scared both Baya and Devyn a little.
Excuse my typo, I'm typing to fast. What did Baya say on Sarah's behalf?
It was off mic and I was at the back of the studio behind the audience. I don't know what she said to him, but his demeanor changed slightly after that. He calmed down and was more thoughtful.

Katelyn did NOT look happy when they were talking about Rain(n?). I think I would be upset too. The Ryan/Baya thing didn't surprise me. But I wonder if Baya had anything to do with him breaking up with his girlfriend (Did she see the email he sent Baya or something?)
I liked the reunion. I was not surprised that Baya and Ryan are dating Ever since he sent her that cringe-worthy email, I knew it was only a matter of time. Also, MTV should hire decent hosts more often! This reunion was loads better than the Sydney and Hollywood dreck.
So basically Ryan hates Sarah? Or Baya got them to some decent understanding?
Baya is the ultimate peacemaker. When she speaks, the cast does listen. Yes, Ryan has latent issues with Sarah, but they really aren't important when Baya turns her head slightly to the side and quietly says, "Ryan..." I saw it. "Army strong" melts when Baya speaks.

Personally it was a good season. There is only one thing that was missing, and that was a Bad Girls Club (even a Brianna, Parisa, Shavoun) type of girl. I believe the girls needed a more vocal person. When the guys are screaming at them, all they do is stay quiet and take it, I was shock. How can Ryan just tell Sarah "shut the F&$! Up" and she just sits there. A real Bad Girl would have been on his face or go crazy. I know the guys won't be able to pull that behavior with some of the girls on the challenges. Well I heard Cancun has that type of girl.

It must be tough for her to be told he is going back to Iraq and then they break up later. No matter which one did the breaking up.

Baya should tell Ryan you show my friend some respect or I'm through with you. I mean Ryan Showed 0% respect for her.

At least she will be on the couch for the whole reunion show tonight, in T-minus 1hr 40min for me!!
Baya had seen Ryan in Georgia just the week before the reunion taping and had not expected to see Ryan again, perhaps not until around Easter.
When I had first heard that Baya had been spotted with Ryan down in Columbus, GA, it seemed suspicious to me because it's my nature to think that way. But I though that Ryan wouldn't start seriously dating a girl before going overseas, plus he seems like someone who would have to ease into a relationship. My guess was that it was one of those strong guy/girl relationships that is just short of dating and looks like that's what they think about themselves also.

She has written about this in an episode thread. It was not until after Belle and Ryan ended their relationship what Baya and Ryan began to explore an change to something beyond their friendship. She was very principled in her approach.
I am so happy that MTV finally realized their TRL hosts were horrible!! Maria has been a credible host in other past programs and need to be kept for more of these.
V1man, do you think they left anything important on the cutting room floor? Or was it a fair and representative edit of the full reunion? So far it seems like there aren't many complaints which is great to hear.

I can't believe there was no unaired footage.

Baya should tell Ryan you show my friend some respect or I'm through with you. I mean Ryan Showed 0% respect for her.
Here is my very candid answer to your question. This is a situation in which I do not judge anyone. Neither one of us should presume to tell Baya what she should have done. The discussion you are talking about was the longest and most uncomfortable of the show, but you only saw about two minutes of about 20. It was clearly a venting moment which included Maria challenging Ryan very strongly in defense of Sarah. I think the audience was also there with Maria and Ryan head a little booing. I get Sarah, and I'm sure many viewers do too. Ryan doesn't, but then there is no way he could feel comfortable in San Francisco. They are just to different people. I respect Sarah and Ryan, so I'll pass on being critical of either one. I absolutely adore Baya and am very grateful to Beth Stolarczyk for urging me to open a dialogue with ther during the season that has blossomed into a very warm relationship, at least on my side. If he had produced this season instead of BMP, it would be a runaway hit in my opinion.
Personally it was a good season. The baiter is the one who looks foolish to the majority of viewers. Sarah didn't need to lower herself to Ryan's profanity at that point. He had damaged himself enough. This is not the Bad Girl's Club. As Baya put it so well early in the show, the women wanted to be positive role models for young women, not negative examples. Scott continually spoke up for the women during the reunion show. Sadly, about 90 % of it was not shown. The tape rolled for nearly 5 hours and cast was on stage talking for only about 35 minutes tonight. That's just the way these things are.

However, don't you call my friend a name just becuse we're friends and you to aren't. So all I'm saying is he needs to atleast show her some respect even if they won't be friends. He feels very comfotable around Chet as a friend not sure how Ryan would be uncomfortable in San Francisco. Furthermore, I thought Ryan learned and became less homophobic after this experience. I understand where you're are coming from V1 cause I like Ryan, but I don't know how much after he disrepected Sarah. I think Ryan is doing a great thing for this country though. How did Maria Challenge him?

I really could have done without the prank war this season, it just felt like lazy filler instead of really going into the great stories each cast member brought with them to begin with. Maybe next time right? Well, maybe not with Cancun...but who knows, they could surprise me!

Good for Scott! I'm happy he acted like a true gentleman. He was always my favorite guy in the house. (I mean that literally). Thank you, V! I think I speak for the majority of our members when I say I greatly appreciate you keeping us filled in on the behind the scenes action. :)
Okay, I'm going to say it. I was surprised to find out during the reunion that Ryan had stopped to ask Katelyn multiple times if it was okay to continue with their conversation about her surgery. I was further surprised to find out that Sarah was in the room and she too did not see anything wrong with the conversation. Don't flame me, but I really love hearing both sides of the story, and I thought I got that through the reunion. It's why I always take everything I read with a grain of salt. I'm not saying that Katelyn was lying with her interpretation of what happened and how it made her feel. I'm just saying that the extra information provided was very enlightening.
My thoughts on the reunion: - JD plays victim an awful lot - I love Ryan and Chet's friendship - I love Ryan and Baya together - I love Maria as a host - Katelynn is 100% valid in being upset about JD outing her to the cast, even if they had an idea originally, he could have just told them to ask her themselves. - I do not really understand why Ryan has beef with Sarah. He tried to explain it but it did not make much sense to me. Maybe I missed something? I've never seen anyone be called a ***** for being "too friendly". Whatever. - I hope Ryan stays safe and I will be praying for him. Good reunion.
His reasoning was shown to be the same in the dailies and in an article in which he talked about his issues with Sarah.

So unless the word "not" was edited out, she changed her tune. It seemed like she had residual bad feelings about Ryan indicating that he felt that she was easy to spot.
His reasoning was shown to be the same in the dailies and in an article in which he talked about his issues with Sarah.
Which is absolutely a stupid reason to hate someone and not be friends with them because of it. I mean who cares if she said blacks are her faves then to another group says jewish people are her faves.
