I think maybe Paula, like Tonya, would be best off moving on from these challenges. They both seem quite fragile in these situations, and I think their past/personal issues take a huge toll on them in these games even more than they would in day to day life.
It seems the people who take this GAME too seriously to where they act like their whole lives depend on it, and their world's ending eventually lose repeatedly and end up looking crazy. Robin and Brad are other examples.
Because Paula is trying to play the victim being a 26(?) year old crying about a game. It's pathetic, why do you feel sorry for her?
I'm sorry. Did I say I feel sorry for her? I don't think it's appropriate to laugh at someone who is crying. There is strength in compassion. I can disagree with someone and not feel the need to laugh at their pain or pour salt in their wounds.
Jenn is the ish.
See Jenn wearing too much makeup. She looks best without it. She used to pile it on during her season as well. Anyway, I love Jenn.

Jenn said Mandi is a waste of space. What makes her so worth while on the show? I think I'm missing something. What does she contribute?
Don't worry Paula. It took Derrick 6 times as well.
Looks like Paula & Jenn both got into mommy's makeup kit before this show... yikes.
Don't they always look like that? :unknw:
I think she has overcome that issue. She is allowed to cry because she feels like she failed at something.
I think she might have overcome the weight thing. But she had anxiety/depression/emotional issues on the show, and that can stay with you for a long time or come and go. I remember her seeming to have insecurities about people in the house liking her, too, and it seems like she kind of still has issues about people's opinions of her. She seems to have come a long way from Key West, based on what we see of her on the shows, but she could possibly still be suffering to some degree.

Its a shame Jenn doesn't take a hint and stop piling the makeup on.
I think Jenn looks great.
I think Jenn looks great.
She looks pretty good, but I still want to wipe that **** off of her eyes.
Is anyone else beginning to like Kenny? I don't know, now I want Kenny/Jill to win. They are become the underdogs of this challenge. I guess I just dislike authority. By the way I love Jenn. She's a G, and keeps it real lol. Jenn always brings drama, and like RMD1 said, she is SEXY!
I think Jenn looks great.
I thought she looked really nice during the Duel 2 reunion. Maybe she didn't do her own makeup then, though, since it was a reunion? Maybe they don't have makeup artists for The Aftershow? Isn't/wasn't Jenn a MAC artist, though? I would like to see how she did makeup for the customers vs. herself.
Sheesh, everyone is burning Jeff at the stake. Not everyone is a runner...Plus, exiles are mental just as much as physical. Just because the guy looks like a "stud", doesn't mean he'll be super athletic in the challenges. We've seen proof of this from other males. As for Paula, I feel like she should really REALLY give these challenges a rest...Not because I'm tried of seeing her but because it is becoming very apparent that her emotions are heavily invested in this game show...It's really sad to watch her break down like that. It's just a game.

Shut up Paula. Team Jenn!!!
Is anyone else beginning to like Kenny? I don't know, now I want Kenny/Jill to win. They are become the underdogs of this challenge. I guess I just dislike authority.
You know why? Because people who watch these shows just love to root for the underdog. They will go from loving to hating to loving a person again based on whether they are in the in crowd or the outsider. Evelyn was so hated I remember on that challenge where Coral was the outcast. She gets on the Island and people automatically loved her because they were so sick of Johnny and Kenny. But she's the same person!
Is anyone else beginning to like Kenny? I don't know, now I want Kenny/Jill to win. They are become the underdogs of this challenge. I guess I just dislike authority.!
I respect that Kenny can play the game. As for being the underdog, if I remember correctly he has walked with a lot of cash in the last few rounds so he is not the underdog, but rather the favorite with a shoe on his throat. I'm excited that this challenge isn't about the JEK alliance. It automatically makes it better than anything I have seen in years. I don't care how it ends, and I don't care who wins...I just like the fact that there are different players. Once again, Wes is making the show (like The Ruins.) When Wes was eliminated in the Ruins, that was the end of the game and JEK won that day. He is a strong competitor that makes this interesting, no matter how it turns out. I'll admit, after all my whining about FM2, this is a good format because traditional alliances this time around don't seem to hold as much water and Kenny not having Johnny or Evan, is in a much weaker position. It makes for better television.

She gets on the Island and people automatically loved her because they were so sick of Johnny and Kenny. But she's the same person!
I think there is a lot of truth to this. I think it's mostly about people in power acting in such a way that they seem unlikeable. Also, as Bacchus said, people are tired of one group continuously running things and winning. It is more interesting to see a struggle between a number of people. I think people don't like seeing a couple of people working to win and seeing the other people not even try to win (but instead hang on to the main alliance). I felt that Kenny would come off looking better than Wes on this one after the first or second episode, and he kind of is. Wes looks like he kind of screwed over Kenny, and Wes is so cocky and arrogant and Kenny is being shown as someone who is competing well and (aside from the misunderstanding with Darrel early on) sticking by his friends (which looks admirable). Both guys are cocky, but Wes has a way of acting like he's the best thing ever and underestimating other people's abilities to read the situations.
Bacchus AMEN to that! That was 100% spot on, perfect. BMP should take notice, and cast their future challenges the same way as FM2. The cast brought new life, and now with the future addition of Brooklyn, Cancun, and DC cast, there will be a new challenge era.
PAULA HAD IT, WOW! I seriously share her pain! do you guys think she will come back? please answer, i am shattered that she lost, knowing she will be back will make my day!
Thoughts: 1. Another great episode. This challenge is really surprising me. 2. Evelyn looks gorgeous in her interviews. 3. Jenn is very unattractive when she's spouting her mouth. And I agree with whoever it was who said that a guy would have been sent home for doing that in a heartbeat. BUT, I'm not complaining that Jenn is staying because this whole "mole" thing is interesting. Which brings me to... 4. Love love love the fact that Jenn is actually siding with Wes' alliance. 5. Enjoyed watching Evelyn defeat Paula...and be nice about it. Even on the aftershow, Evelyn had nothing but nice things to say about Paula's performance. Kudos. 6. As much as Paula annoys me to no end, I felt for her tonight (even though I'm glad Evelyn won).

I love how people on here were so negative about the challenge based on the spoilers, and cast..yet everyone is loving it, shows questionable casting choices can sometimes surprise us.
Why is this challenge so good? I thought it was going to be a mess, this is one of the best challenges in years!

Is Laurel stronger than Ev? She seems to be performing better. Finally the women competiton is becoming more competitive, and even.
Is Laurel stronger than Ev? She seems to be performing better. Finally the women competiton is becoming more competitive, and even.
Tough to say. I definitely think Laurel has the size advantage on Ev...but I would give the "smarts" and endurance edge to Ev. I'd love to see them go head to head individually. Evelyn even said in a myspace blog a while back that she wants to do the Duel 3 with all of the top female competitors (she mentioned Rachel, KellyAnne, Tori, Jodi, and even Laurel). So Ev's got respect for her athletically.
