I don't ever condone people being mean, it is disgusting the things people can say behind a computer. Clearly parents need to monitor their kids online behavior better. No one should be talked to that way. But I feel as though Diem had always been entitled and bratty. Her "bad" edit didn't shock me because that is the Diem I remember. I do think Diem is a good person, but she has bad qualities just like everyone else. She isn't a good loser, and she is entitled just own it. Others get wayyyyyy worse of an edit sand they all get horrible and disgusting comments thrown at them. I hope Diem's health continues to improve and that she stays healthy but I won't miss her attitude on the challenges.

Pretty much. I don't know why people continue to say she got great edits in the past. She had it pretty bad on both Duels if I recall. Her main complaint isn't that the edit she got was bad, but the context in which it was presented clearly leads the audience to assume she's mentally unstable, which is not the case and not fair to her character. You think production gets death threats when a certain character on the show is portrayed in a horrible night? Hell no. All the hatred and out-of-line comments are funneled to the cast members, which is hardly fair considering they're not 100% responsible for the edit they receive. I would rather hear it straight out of her mouth than rely on some horribly edited footage from a horribly edited show.
I'd give anything to have a one on one conversation with Diem about how her body felt during each mission, about how her previous treatment went and the emotions that came with it, and the overall comparison in the struggle that we both have gone through to get to where we are today, and how it's changed us as person. It gives a different vision of life.
just because shes not getting back with him it doesnt mean she doesnt have feelings for him. She probably knows its for the best. That still doesnt change the fact that shes stuck in a house with her ex for over a month and a half. He can do whatever he wants but shes not going to be too happy about it. But what about the fact that she finally gave in to him the last few episodes and he completely flipped on her. Thats confusing, hes also playing mind games!
will someone please tell me what happened on wwhl?
i was unable to watch the entire episode online :( i herd people say ct was mad whenever andy brought up diems name is that true? and i herd he was being mean to him?
i was curious as well about some comment about a playgirl?
i really wanna know exactly what happened on that show
This is BS. The producers didn't edit Diem in a bad light, she did it to herself. Stop making excuses for her awful behavior. If Trishelle was doing the same thing, you would have been all over her.
Did the producers edit her to meltdown when she didn't get her way? no. She did it herself.
Did the producers tell her to act entitled and say that Cooke/Cara Maria didn't deserve to be there? no. What's her excuse for saying that? Why exactly should Cooke not be in the game? What did Diem do to deserve a final more than Cooke? Nothing.
Did the producers tell Diem to backstab Camila? No.
Did the producers tell her to hate on Cooke for no reason, then act passive aggressive about that hate? No
Did the producers tell her rap about Nany behind her back, then lie about it later? No
Did the producers tell her to act like a drunk mess because control freak Diem had no control over her situation? No
If she was getting a bad edit, I would expect others to say it. From what I've heard, no one confirmed. People like Robb, Camila, Nehemiah basically implied that this is the real Diem.
Just face it, the Challenge showed Diem's true colors. She was never anything like she was portrayed in earlier seasons. If it wasn't for her trials and tribulations, no one would defend her here. Its no coincidence that people throw out the edit excuse only after they do ****ty things. Its easy to blame the producers, but she should be taking accountability for her actions.
1. You probably don't know Diem, and I don't think Robb/Nehemiah would like someone who has never been in their team/alliance that they probably have never spent any real time with before. That's natural. Diem and Camila are friends in real life, so either you or Camila are lying.
2. The same way they made rapists Kenny and Evan look like fun and jovial guys who never meant any harm and were only playful during The Ruins is the same way that they made Diem look like a nasty wench.
3. Honestly, unless it's someone's first or second challenge they usually act like psychos about going in.
4. The Nany rap wasn't her. If it was her, you don't think they would show this suddenly evil Diem scheming the rap when they have cameras watching her at all times? That was obviously one/some of the frat-tastic dudes (my guess being emotionally manipulative Knight) upset Nany wouldn't sleep with them.
5. She was open about her Cooke dislike from pretty early on. Cooke wanted to "break her."
6. She did take accountability for her actions. She accepted that she was why she lost. She said that.
Holy **** am I sick of hearing about this, can we get this thread closed too please? Nothing of substance is coming out of it. We got the announcement, that's all we need.

I am not going to get into another Diem discussion, lol. But Diem actually admitted that that was her rap later on...

You could simply elect not to open the thread... ;)

Pretty simple, Nightwolf
Disagree. *****a general comment not about Cooke specifically**** If you are single and you get involved with, have a one night stand with, fall in love with someone who is in a committed relationship, you do owe someone something. You owe the prior significant other the same respect most of us would want. If the object of your affection doesn't want to be in the other relationship, let them get out of it. Plus, you owe yourself something ~ dignity and self-respect.
I hate to think that in this day and age women still take the zipper highway to fame and fortune. Enough said.
This bull****. Where the heck did you get that impression from? LOLin..
No, you don't. This is ridiculous...absolutely ridiculous. They owe them nothing--hell, they don't even know them in most cases. What is worse is that women seem to blame women more than the married guy that has the commitment.
Why does sleeping with someone that is attached to someone else mean you lack "dignity and self-respect"? Are you kidding me?
To some people--it's just sex.
I was about to type a similar post but you got it plain and simple.
I think this might be in reference to the "career first" break up. CT did seem hurt by it, at least to a degree.
Yeah she's dreaming because if she did she wouldn't have been on the challenge the following summer /fall whenever D2 taped.

FYI, hearing it from her mouth would probably not offer anything much either. And no, the show is not horribly edit. At least it's legit unlike KUWTK and their pauses for/cue for prepared lines, that **** bothers me.

Well said. I missed the part about CT flipping on her slo what did he do? The replay came on Wednesday before Final Destination episode and all I saw was her crying about being hurt by what Jemmye "said".

Every story is biased. The only difference is the edit you view vs. a cast member's recollection of the story tends to be a lot more bastardized than what actually happened (case in point, showing eliminated players in episodes they're not even supposed to appear in during the Ruins). 95% of the time, you are not watching things in the chronological order they actually happened on TV, which makes a huge difference (Derrick shaking the fence in a Ruins mission against Sarah when he went "first" seemed "unnecessary"; Tori "giving the ring back" on the Duel 2). This isn't The Hills we're watching, but the editing is still pretty atrocious and the proof is in the pudding. ;)
