Rivals 3 is actually a good season.

huh?

Hall Brawl is played tf out and I'm bored of it.

1000%

The purge at the end of Invasion was dumb because there was two parts. They purged out Hunter and Jenna. And then they purged out Shane and Amanda it made no sense.

That whole season was a mess. Good idea bringing out the Champions vs. Challengers theme, but awful execution.

huh?

Devin made the final and they're in love with Devin

The only thing I liked about rivals 3 was the naked mission and that was for thirst reasons. Hahah. Other than that it was pretty meh and a good portion of the teams were forced in terms of if they were actually rivals.

Y'all wanted a team format and trashed it when we got it despite it providing the best season of the show in YEARS. P.s. cutthroat doesn't hold up on a rewatch. WOTW2>

Another unpopular opinion that Laurel vs Ninja episode may be one of the best if not the best episode of all time for this shows modern seasons.

Purges gotta go

wotw2 was good but the tribunal concept sucked ***

What?  Cutthroat is a great rewatch because it's simple.   I don't like anyone that won that season but it's well done.  Teams works when they don't overthink the set up.   The tribunal was stupid on WOTW2.   Bloodlines didn't work because the setup encouraged people to throw challenges.  The only thing that would have made Cutthroat better was if the winning team picked who went in on the third team.

That was the ONLY tribunal/troika I liked. For some reason that format brought so many INTENSE arguments to each deliberation and the tribunal just sat back and watched vs them talking down to people because they were in power.

Cutthroat was always one of my favorites but rewatching a couple episodes made me zzzz. I think the eliminations were wack.

I wish the eliminations weren't as much about size as they were but there's been worse.  I still think the season is very rewatchable.  Duel 2-Cutthroat is rewatchable for me other than the end of The Ruins but to each their own I guess.

I am glad you realize you are in the correct thread with this comment

Nevermind

Rivals 3 is crap but I would sooner watch that again than whatever crap they've been putting on the latest seasons

Ehh--I finally gave in this year and tried to watch Rivals 3--I think I quit after the 6th episode when there were still only 2 elimination rounds--maybe that was episode 7--I forget.  It was after Amanda showed up being annoying for no reason and Thomas quit.

yeah I'd still rather watch rivals 3 than what the show has become. I know you like the show for the competition and rivals 3 really lacked that but I dislike everything about the current direction of the show - competition, casting, drama. It's just all bleh to me now.

That's fair--I don't like the current show either.  I think Bloodlines might even be better lol.  Rivals 3 and The Island were just so bad to me--but, yes, at least the casting wasn't anywhere near this bad.

The Island is frustrating because it's a pretty decent cast ruined by such an awful format.

If that season would have been "The Duel 2" it could have been amazing--at least for the women.   For the men, it would have been if Abram stayed.

Fessy hasnt really done anything to be hated the way he is hated. People over-criticize him imo and he hasnt died in a final the way Paulie or Zach has

Yeah people just don't like him

Cutthroat is solid when it came down to the missions but the majority of the cast was more boring than wall paper.

The spies lies allies format with picking who to pair up is actually a really interesting idea if it wasnt on a season with so many rookies. Same with the turncoat for wotw2

a huge chunk of rookies from SLA shouldn't return

I consider The Duel 2 and Cutthroat to be twin seasons.

sure he has. He talks a way bigger game than he should. He says he is the best guy that's ever done a challenge and is 2 for 2 on coming in last on finals. A pre-requisite for talking shit is having won a challenge before. But even that doesn't go for everyone. There are some champions that have no business talking shit about anything.

he talks like any other competitive human who is playing a sport lol. I'd never police the amount of confidence someone has,

thats why yall got people like jordan walking around the way he does lmao.
