Melinda's never been boring. Brandon even had a storyline. Chet did as well. It definitely wasn't lacking drama. Camila vs. team red, Camila vs. Theresa, Ty looking like a chump, Abram vs. Sarah/Laurel, the Paula/Tori bullshit, Bananas correctly referring to Tori as a *****. The drama was actually real (other than Theresa vs. Camila) unlike most seasons after it.
I get the "too many FM2" comment but the rest doesn't make sense. That cast is the way all seasons should be created. A little heavy on FM2 but other than that it was a perfect mix...I'd like to have seen some other old school people but it was "A" for effort.

HA.....I like Chet but that season he was boring. Brandon has always been boring because he doesn't get involved in anything. I think there has been better drama/more entertaining on other seasons.
There was a lot of people I did't like on that cast. Definitely my least favorite cast out of every season I've seen.
The only thing I thought was memorable or good was Bananas getting carried by CT, Camila vs Brad/Tori, and the grey team gassing out at the final.
Cutthroat had a great cast imo, it was bursting with new faces/stars in Laurel, Camila, Ty, Emily and wasn't short on drama at all. There were a few duds but they either didn't get camera time or went home soon. You had: Katie vs. her team and especially Ty, Camila/Red Team, Laurel/Easy, Laurel and Sarah/CM and Abe, Emily/Ty, Brandon/Red Team...it was filled with drama. Also it has the best missions I've seen in a long while and great eliminations.
Brandon was certainly not boring this season and was actually likable against his shitty team. Also I enjoyed Dan and his sober storyline. Even then a lot of seasons have wallpaper castmembers, Seasons 2 had McKenzie, Ashley K, JD, Laura, Melinda/Danny...

Chet/Mandi/Melinda/Luke/Dan/Ayiiaa/Shauvon/JD/Vinny/Derek/Emilee could have all been replaced. The rest of the cast was pretty awesome but those that I named seemed like filler spots. If we got a cast today with all those people on it this board would have a fit.

Laurel/Easy: Easy was rude to her and insteadof confronting him, she got drunk and bashed him at the pool.
Katie/her team: Katie didn't want to go in and even more so that she got a black eye and felt slighted.
Camila and Brandon/their team: They were being tossed to the wolves, DESPITE constantly proving themselves (Camila being the best girl on her team).
Laurel and Sarah/CM and Abe: Laurel and Sarah felt Cara was getting a free ride because of her relationship with Abram and were upset about it. We got A TON from this feud with Laurel/Sarah trying to throw missions, Laurel harshly breaking it down to Cara, Abe thinking Laurel needs to prove herself, etc.
Just off the top of my head too and Rivals 2, Seasons 2, and Ruins easily had more of the "stupid" drama imo.

That's true, but to be fair none of those people got much or any screentime and were eliminated within the first few episodes. I just loved the format, missions, eliminations, voting, and the drama. Aw you can call Brandon wall paper on other seasons, but not on Cutthroat. He was the calm male version of Camila that season and imo the most likable guy there.

Melinda was so wild on Austin but once she became engaged to Danny she became wallpaper. Nothing against her though, she is gorgeous!
