Am I the only one who was surprised about "Johnny not being the same anymore" and then the shot of him taking some oxygen when some people said here that this final wasn't as hard as the previous one?

Someone on twitter asked Camila why she was yelling at Diem and she responded that we have to wait and see

So there are 5 more challenges before the Final. 1. Next week is something to do with one of the partners hanging over the water. 2. The week after that is the blindfolded maze 3/4. The one where they swing over the water and then have to swim to a location and another unknown challenge 5. A T-Bone looking challenge The Final also starts with them jumping out of a boat and swimming to the beach. The Final has them chained together for a portion of it, but not all of it.

hey I'm new to this but diem and ct are my favorites and I wanted to figure out this whole relationship they develop. it looks like they get back together, but a fight is also shown and ct has instagramed pictures with a girl named heather. does anyone know their standing right now (friends enemies etc.) or anything about their fight

I hope their enemies. I do not care for CT at ALL. He is degusting and Diem should never EVER get back with him for her own health, safely, and sanity.

Actually rewatching the new preview, I'm not so sure that Johnny/Frank don't go into the last one Edit: Nevermind it looks like there is a black guy on the blue team Also here's the order for the rest of the missions that we know of: Episode 6. Hanging upside down over water Episode 7. Blind maze Episode 8. Presumably the trapeze over water Episode 9. T-Bone style mission Episode 10. ???

But I feel like when CT is with Diem he is more behaved and if they don't listen to other people's opinions about negative things they could have a stable relationship. even if they are just friends I'd rather them be friends then nothing at all.

I do think his relationship with Diem and how he felt about her in the past was real though. I do like that there are scenes shown in the show of CT and Diem talking, having a friendship, but yeah, seeing how he acts with girls tells me that Diem should not be with him in her real life. He would not be faithful to her. BUT, I can't lie, I do like the flirtation and I do think they have chemistry together on the show and I like that they have a friendship....but judging from previews coming up, it could be an on again-off again friendship. I do think Diem does keep CT in line more....for example if she would be with him during the challenge I think he would have not been with any other girls, but if she won't be with him...he will just run buck wild and not care at all. Having said that..if Diem chose to be with CT in real life (outside the challenge)....would he not be with any other girls...no, he would be...he would not be faithful to her. I was just saying that if Diem had chosen to be with him on the challenge I think he would have just been with her and no other girl for the six weeks of the challenge, LOL! Just thought I would clarify. I could be being too generous to CT though. My thing is this, isn't there a way for him to flirt with the girls or just kiss a few of them to get them not to vote for him....does he really have to have sex with all of them? BUT....having said that, it would be easy to blame this all on CT and act like CT is the bad guy for all of it...but it is important to note that these girls know what CT is like from watching past shows and they choose to sleep with him on the show. So the girls have to accept some responsibility for acting like sl*ts. CT never forced any of them to do anything. They chose it.

so I saw this post on tumblr and thought it would answer some questions about diem and cts relationship. btw these are not my words and I'm not sure how long ago this was posted because I just found it: "So, I was watching a Rivals 2 recap on Youtube with Mark Long guesting, Diem called in and talked for a while. She said she was 2 weeks out from chemo when she flew to Thailand, and was still injecting hormones while there. She is an incredible woman. (They hate CT and Diem talk) but my guess on their "relationship" is that they are both very good actors. Diem SWEARS up and down she no longer has any type of affection towards CT but then we have witnessed her create a "rap" about Nany just because she danced with him.... Jasmine said on spreecast that Diem admitted to writing the rap and it was all because she was bitter about CT... Diem favorites all of these tweets that her followers post about her and CT and their relationship But even with all of this happening she insist she is not feeling him and I believe it because that's what V1man said...... Then Ct he is a *****. We all know this and we can all see this I don't know what his relationship is to the chick in his instagram photos but he is suggesting that he has some type of emotional connection to her. But then again. I thought he was with Dani Victor??? But then I just seen this youtube video of him and a bunch of females that looked as if they did not have a reputation to uphold. That is how CT and Diem act when they are around each other- its not phoney and Mark states that. I do think they should give it another shot- I think there is more maturity now, and it might actually work out better the second time around. I think CT would be for it, its Diem being stubborn. I love Diem but she needs to not be so anti relationship. I know she prides herself on being able to be "Independent" but, Independent women are in relationships all the time so I don't get it- Life is very short and to not be with the person who brings out the best in you, and you bring out the best in and you genuinley LOVE- its a shame. It truely is, because like I said life is short, and sadly some people end up with the wrong ones :( Now I KNOW people get mad when CT&DIEM are discussed cause I know its a not a love show, its a challenge show but alot of Fans love their story, so maybe we can get a CT and Diem Folder ;) And Re: Heather Morgan- Apparentley she is an EX girlfriend of CT's. He has not confirmed whether or not they are officially back together or what not- I keep close tabs on his Instagram/Twitter lol and Im not a pyscho fan, I don't report his photos lol

I guess my opinion lies somewhere in the middle between Christy and Imjusayin. First thing, CT and Diem are on the challenge and their interactions with one another are a storyline on the show, so it's going to get discussed just like anything else that happens on the challenge. I don't think any poster needs to apologize for discussing it. Also we discuss plenty of other cast members on the show here as well, so it is pretty balanced on this board I think. So as for my opinion lying somewhere in the middle.....here it is....I don't think CT and Diem are acting but I also don't really think they should be together in real life (even though I wish they could as a fan of them on the show)....but realistically I don't think they should because even though I think CT genuinely cares for Diem, I also think he likes to party and have a good time and likes a wilder lifestyle in his real life (not just talking about the challenge) and this does not lend itself to what Diem wants for a man and what Diem needs. It is not stability for her. Outside of the show both CT and Diem get asked questions about one another from fans and I'm sure it must get annoying for both of them sometimes (even if they do have a genuine friendship). So my logic is this, if both of them wanted to permanently stop those questions, the next challenge they would go on, both of them would make an active effort to stay away from one another at clubs, yet they do not. Yet they still sometimes will interact knowing that the camera is on them. Now Diem is very careful never to go too far with CT....like she would never actually hookup with CT on camera or even off camera I don't believe while they are on the challenge, but at the same time she does kiss him and have interactions with him when she could very easily stay away from him altogether. I guess to me it would seem like if Diem was acting that she would then also be more comfortable about even faking answering questions about CT/Diem love connection after the show is over but she never really does. I mean it's not like she won't answer questions if she has to but she never looks like those questions are her most favorite ones to talk about. Okay, not sure if I'm saying this in the best way. I guess what I'm trying to say is, sometimes in interviews after the challenge is over, such as promoting for Battle of the Exes or promotion for Rivals II, Diem gets a little flustered when asked about CT, like she wants to get those questions behind her pretty fast so she can just talk about other aspects of the challenge or Medgift. You would think if Diem was going into the challenge thinking I want to "act" for the cameras and create this romance with CT that she would then be better prepared after the challenge to answer some questions about the romance storyline that she helped to create or actively participated in on purpose. Also in her interviews after the show she usually will deny that she has feelings for CT and you would think if she wanted to act and create this romance that she would then say "yes" to some questions about liking CT after the show too....just to further promote that storyline, yet she does not do that. I will say this, in the latest interview with ET that both her and CT did together, she did confirm, after CT said it first, that they have a special relationship....but that does not mean she is saying she is in love with him or wants to get back with him, she was just saying there is some type of connection there that they have...but even her admitting that was then followed by saying she never cared who he hooked up with. I don't know, I just don't think it is all acting. I really don't. Do I think they should be together in real life....no...I think they are better off as friends in real life, but I just can't see that they are acting on camera. I know CT acts in other situations on camera, he plays up fights and stuff, but I just don't see his interactions with Diem being faked or phony in any way and I don't see that with Diem either. My opinion is this, there is obviously still an attraction there that they have because of their past together, it is only natural. Diem probably feels a bit sheepish about it because she knows what type of wild guy he is with the ladies, yet she still feels an attraction to him that she can't help and won't admit to in interviews after the show is over...but actions speak louder than words folks and kissing him on camera shows she is still attracted to him. I bet Diem wishes she wasn't still attracted to him sometimes but she is. How many women have been in this situation, attracted to the bad boy, can't help ourselves, even though we know the bad boy is not marriage material or even necessarily good boyfriend material.

One other thought....why would Diem perhaps say no or not answer questions about being attracted to CT in interviews after the show is over when she actually is attracted to him (as evidenced by watching the show, her kissing him), well I think it is because she is in DENIAL. Diem would not even admit that to herself that she is attracted to CT so if she can't even admit it to herself then how is she going to say yes to an interviewer asking her those questions. I would not claim that I sometimes think Diem is in denial if I did not watch the challenge and see her actions on the challenge directly contradicting what she says in interviews off the challenge about not having feelings for CT. I base my opinions by a person's actions, not by their words, lol. She can't say I'm not attracted to him and then fans watch the challenge and she is seen kissing him....yes you are attracted to him, lol. There are so many other guys on the show she could kiss if she wanted to...many others to choose from...yet it's CT for some reason. Now if Diem does another challenge and CT is on there too and I am seeing that CT and Diem are giving MTV producers nothing to work with and are actively staying away from one another then I could easily change my opinion and then say, okay I believe they are not attracted to one another anymore but as of now I believe they are. Anyway, I know this is all psychoanalytical and I am definitely analyzing someone I don't know and have never met, haha, so obviously I could always be wrong about my opinion in this post...I don't say that I know these things for 100% certainty...this is just the feeling that I get as a fan from watching the show and listening to the interviews. Also even though I think Diem is attracted to CT...does that mean I think she would actively seek him out after the challenge is over to possibly start something up with him, I don't think so. I think it is one of those situations where if she does not have to be near him physically then out of sight, out of mind but if she has to be on the challenge with him and promote the show with him, the attraction gets stirred up when they are both put in the same orbit.

Does anyone know wich 2 girls were fighting in the trailer on the aftershow? It looks to be either Theresa, Nany or Cooke. Jemmye and Jonna and Aneesa and Paula are in the background.

She is not in denial. She has very good memories of the good parts of their past relationship. He was there for her when she needed someone and they established a strong bond. She also has a very, very strong relationship with another BF she left behind in LA when moving to NY. Unlike most of us, Diem has firm goals and a real passion to make them happen, but every day she wakes up with uncertainly about the length of time she has to accomplish them. If life were perfect, so would still be in LA with her recent ex, who, btw, reads vevmo. Hopefully, when she sits for her interview with us, I hope this will all come out in a logical, comprehensive way. I certainly don't plan any softball questions, and she has agreed to respond to the "tuff stuff."

Personally, I feel that the two of them will always have feelings for each other and it just bothers me to see that they do not acknowledge each other outside of the challenge. for instance, there is never conversation between the two over twitter, but diem connects with a majority of the other cast members. I would like to see them as at least friends if they decide not to date (although I'd obviously rather that)

The Duel didn't air until 2006, they were still dating on The Gauntlet III which aired in 2008. And it was said that they broke up a few months before The Duel 2 aired which was 2009. So by my count that makes it about 4-5 years since they have broken up. Where are we getting 8 from? Fresh Meat didn't even air yet which was Diem's first challenge. WTF?!

But, I have noticed a few things that show me there is some affection there from Diem towards CT. Quite recently, since episode 4 of Rivals II aired, Diem tweeted that Johnny Bananas, CT and Ryan Knight showed her about hair wax after she took her wig off. I was kind of surprised because that was the first direct acknowledgement of CT that I have seen from Diem on social media. I also noticed that a fan had posted that they liked the way CT would smile and encourage Diem when it came to being herself, taking her wig off, and Diem favorited that tweet. So there has been some acknowledgement of him but Jeannine your right that she could say more about him but she chooses not to sometimes...maybe that has more to do with her wanting to be more private about certain things because so much of her relationship with CT has been on camera. Like for example, Diem posted about the chicken fight she had in the pool with Jordan and Camila...she mentions Jordan and Camila but not CT and CT was clearly there too....lol...in fact he was the one I was looking at the most since he took off his shorts to dive in, haha!! So Diem tries to be discrete about it, whereas CT is much more in your face on social media about the CT/Diem thing...for example he retweeted her a screencap of the trailer, the part where CT and Diem kissed, and said to her, "Do you remember this Diem Brown?" Hahaha! I thought that was kind of funny. Of course I figured there would be no response to that from her, but it's not like she is disliking him doing that either by saying why are you tweeting me about that...she's just not saying anything. Then CT also retweeted a picture of the two of them from when they were boyfriend and girlfriend before and then a fan uploaded a video of CT/Diem moments from the show and he retweeted that as well....not to her but just tweeted it out to everyone. I don't know if he is doing it just because MTV tells them to play up the storyline from the show on Twitter (like a promotional thing) or if he genuinely just has affection for Diem and so when he sees fans posting pictures and videos then he retweets it because of that. So there is some interaction between both CT and Diem on Twitter, although a lot more from CT towards Diem than the other way around. Jeannine, it could be that they do acknowledge one another outside of the challenge but we fans just don't know about it because they choose to keep it private. I think your right that there will probably always be some feelings there. It has to be weird for Diem to have been so vulnerable with someone on national television and had a relationship that came out of it, then to have aspects of their breakup documented on TV and then getting back together for Battle of the Exes after not speaking for a few years. I mean these are things that for most normal people are kept SUPER PRIVATE and these moments have been on TV. Of course when they sign the contracts they know it is going to be on TV but still that can't make it any less weird sometimes because I'm sure Diem goes on TV mainly for the challenges and the drama in the house is just something she has to put up with in order to be able to compete in the challenges. You could say the same thing for all the other cast members...it has to be weird for them to have their personal business out there too but the difference between many other cast members and CT and Diem is let's face it, most other relationships or hookups on these shows have not been all that serious to begin with, so when the couples break up and have to then interact again together on the challenge, there might be a little awkwardness but it's not on the same level as the CT/Diem situation. I mean how many other couples who got together and then broke up on these challenges actually were so serious that they had marriage on the mind or they went out for a year and a half or more...it seems not many.
