Cooke and Knight are both athletes and it's quite common for athletes to be referred to by their last name. It was probably easier to be called that than a nickname. With Nany, I'm sure Nany was probably a nickname that she was called prior to The Real World.
Nany isn't a made up name It is a Spanish name and i know people (friends and family) who are named Nany.
Nany is not naomi is noemi, which sounds really similar. She have gone by the nickname Nany her entire life.
Besides the 4 people on Seasons (Zach, Frank, Ashley & Sam) and Emily, no one else from Real World 20-current have won a challenge. That's 8 seasons of peopel with only 5 winners. Unless you want to count Camila in that batch of people since she arrived during that era.
I would add both Camila and Carley. Still 10 seasons (SBC and FM2 added) and 7 winners is a pretty bad statistic considering there's like 85 potential competitors (honestly more than that because I only included Camila from Spring Break Challenge).

That's why they need more variety on these shows(regarding cast).
Not surprising given the few team challenges in the newer era. With a Gauntlet, Inferno, etc. we'd have plenty of new winners.
However beside only five winners, we also had 22 Finalist from 44 cast members that were actually casted for a challenge. That's means percentage-wise half of them are finalist, but only 11.3 % winners. To quote Wes on that "It's not easy to win one of these" and unfortunatly they still suffer from the stupid "Rookies first" mentality. Just for a prospective (All numbers combined) RW 1-9: 41 cast members called, 18 wins, 23 finals RW 10-19: 47 cast members called, 29 wins, 67 finals RW 20-28: 44 cast members called, 5 winners, 22 finalist

That's sad.
LMAO. That's sad.
Whats really sad is Paula holding the record for a RW female with the most challenge wins with two.
I disagree Paula is a good competitor I'm glad she won twice
Whats really sad is Paula holding the record for a RW female with the most challenge wins with two.
Another way of looking at it is that with 8 losses, she holds the record for being the female (RW/RR/FM) with the 2nd most amount of challenge losses (Robin & Aneesa are tied for first with 9).
I disagree Paula is a good competitor I'm glad she won twice
I wasn't talking about Paula being a good competitor or not, but how she's the only female with two wins.
She isn't,she is just the first real world girl to get two wins, Evelyn and Veronica have 3, Susie Rachel, Tori and Jodi have two wins
She isn't,she is just the first real world girl to get two wins, Evelyn and Veronica have 3, Susie Rachel, Tori and Jodi have two wins
Forgot to mention Real World there.
It's crazy how only 4 women from The Ruins returned. Sarah is the only one who made it far that continued being on shows. Wonder what that says about her...
I think 5 girls have returned from The Ruins. Katie, Evelyn, Sarah, Diem, and Shauvon.
It says that she was being honest when she said she did the Real World to do the Challenges KellyAnne reached the final and came back before Sydney got kicked off last year Susie likely would do another one as well. Casey was supposedly coming back before she learned the format was Exes and replaced with Camila Kimberly and Johanna apparently won't come back (sad about Kimberly) but even Veronica would supposedly return given the right circumstances.
Susie said on a podcast with Evan and Derrick that she went out on top and wouldn't want to come back and tarnish that. And idk if you know this but Veronica either had a miscarriage or she gave birth to a stillborn, but I highly doubt after a traumatic event such as this that she would come back to a challenge.

Here's an interesting fact I remember reading 5 yrs ago.... Raquel from rr campus crawl, was signed to do gauntlet 2 but had to drop out bc of a wedding. Sarah from rw philly, was asked to do every challenge after her season but she said while she wanted to do one they coinsided with her law school schedule. She said yes to the Duel but also had to drop out for wedding. Brynn was gonna be on sexes 2 but then production replaced her after hearing she had a child and didn't want to be in the same situation they were in with Belou.

Where did you hear that?
Each season of Rivals featured a replacement challenger entering the game early on (Mike in Rivals, Cara Maria in Rivals II). Both teams eventually made it to the final after the replacement came in. I wanna say both replacements wore a red jersey during their respective season as well.
Wow, I didn't hear about Sarah and Brynn before. Where did you hear that?
I read their interviews back when speak reality was still a website and the Vevmo of the time. Eventually sarah did another interview saying she was over reality tv. However, I still hope she will do one eventually.

However Belou is win. She did the right thing despite fools like Holly and ******* Chadwick.
Kelly Anne, at the end of the Ruins, had a very severe knee injury that they didn't show. She said that she couldn't do a regular work out for a good 8 months after and that she still had to do physical therapy for it a good couple of years after the fact.

Was it from one of the challenges? Ugh, what if she didn't have it and she and Sarah had one... ugh, only if.
Do you know what caused it? Was it from one of the challenges? Ugh, what if she didn't have it and she and Sarah had one... ugh, only if.
Wow, I literally spelled won as "one" and noticed too late to edit it. I'm not illiterate, I promise.

I think she was responding to a fan or someone about it. But she did say she was really out of shape now and would really need to get it together.
Considering Veronica had just given birth about that time, she probably was out of shape. She might be back in shape now, especially if Rachel Robinson has been working with her.
I have seen every challenge in full since The Ruins and have noticed that the black jerseys are used sparingly (only in FM2, Rivals, and Exes). I also noticed the track record for those wearing black jerseys is pretty good. I have seen 5 teams wear black and of those 5 there were 2 winners and 2nd place finishers. The 1 team of the 5 (Evelyn & Luke) that didn't make the final still got pretty far into the game.
