Excellent work ;)
With the beginning of Road Rules All Stars there has been 23 seasons (excluding Rivals 2) and 522 episodes aired on MTV including Reunion. Derrick Kosinski has been on 117 episodes of them which makes him technically the most experienced Challenger ever since he was on 22. 4 % (One fifth)of all the episodes. The next one is Brad Fiorenza with 101 episodes (19.4%). Ironically their last challenge was Cutthroat which they did together and that was three years ago. The most experienced women is Coral Smith with 93 episodes (17.81%)

Didn't the episodes used to be 30 minutes long and 24 episodes in a season though?

Yes, and Eliminations were sometimes in separate episodes from the missions

Never 24 episodes for the Challenges. I think the most for a challenge was probably around 18.
Never 24 episodes for the Challenges. I think the most for a challenge was probably around 18.
I think every challenge prior to The Gauntlet 3 at 16 episodes...I think
That's still a big difference though from now
I made a list of every player that has won multiple challenges.
4:
Darrell Taylor- The Gauntlet, The Inferno, The Inferno II, Fresh Meat

Eric Nies- Road Rules: All-Stars, Battle of the Sexes 2
Theo Vonkurnatowski- The Gauntlet, Battle of the Sexes 2

Holly Shand- Challenge 2000, The Inferno
If I forgot any let me know.
Jamie Murray and Sean Duffy are the only 2 challengers to have won every challenge they have competed on who have done multiple challenges.
I started at Season 5, these people all won a challenge on their first go. The season they won is in parentheses.
Frank Sweeney (23), Zach Nichols (23), Ashley Kelsey (23), Sam McGinn (23), Darrell Taylor (7), Mike Mizanin (5), Coral Smith (5), Aviv Melmed (12), Carley Johnson (19), Tori Fiorenza (15), MJ Garrett (11), Jamie Chung (10), Colin Mortensen (6), Danny Roberts (5), Kelley Limp (5), Elka Walker (5), Cara Zavaleta (7), Dave Giuntoli (7), Sarah Greyson (7), Kendal Sheppard (8), Christena Pyle (8), and Janelle Casanave (14).
Players who have been sent home in the FIRST elimination/vote. I did not separate by gendered elimination rounds, disqualifications, or quitters. Examples: Derek was eliminated 1st on Cutthroat, Emilee was eliminated 2nd, even though she was the first girl eliminated she was still the 2nd person eliminated. Get it? Got it? Good. I made only one exception with separating genders and that was for the Battle of the Sexes challenges. Obviously paired challenges like Fresh Meat, Rivals, Exes, and Seasons obviously have two people sent home first so I included both team members for that as well.
Yes (RR: Semester at Sea)- Battle of the Seasons
Veronica (RR: Semester at Sea)- Battle of the Seasons
Beth (RW: Los Angeles)- Battle of the Seasons
Jon (RW: Los Angeles)- Battle of the Seasons
Julie (RW: New Orleans)- Battle of the Sexes

Jon (RW: Los Angeles)- The Inferno II
Adam (RR: The Quest)- The Gauntlet 2
Danny (RW: Austin)- Fresh Meat
Evelyn (Fresh Meat)- Fresh Meat
Johnny (RW: Key West)- The Duel
Tyrie (RW: Denver)- The Inferno 3
Alex (RW: Denver)- The Gauntlet III
Tonya (RW: Chicago)- The Island
Chet (RW: Brooklyn)- The Ruins
Darrell (RR: Campus Crawl)- Fresh Meat II
Cara Maria (Fresh Meat II)- Fresh Meat II
Derek (RW: Cancun)- Cutthroat
Aneesa (RW: Chicago)- Rivals
Robin (RW: San Diego)- Rivals
Nate (RW: San Diego 2011)- Battle of the Exes
Priscilla (RW: San Diego 2011)- Battle of the Exes
Wes (RW: Austin)- Battle of the Seasons
Lacey (RW: Austin- Battle of the Seasons
Jon (RW: Los Angeles) is the only person to have been sent home first on two different challenges.
This is how old everyone was on their LATEST Challenge (i.e. Casey was 18 when she did Fresh Meat, but I was only counting the Challenge on which they were the oldest). The ages are approximate because I don't know people's birthdates, filming dates, etc. So I did the best I could. Let me know if any are wrong!

??? - cast of Maximum Velocity Tour, The Quest, and Campus Crawl
This is the longevity of each cast member on MTV shows - i.e. how many years between their first appearance on MTV (RW, RR, FM, Camila) and their final appearance (either a Challenge or Viewer's Revenge - didn't count hosting gigs like Coral or Las Vegas Reunited, etc.) Again, it could be a little inaccurate due to unknown air dates or just human error. Tell me if you see something wrong!

Diem is actually 29, not 33, I believe. She has said that she was 28 in recent interviews, and her birthday is apparently June 12th. I've always wondered though about her real age. Fresh Meat did say she was 24 but part of me wonders if that was a mistake, especially since she said she was 28 on her interview with The Doctors.
Battle of the Sexes 2, The Island, and The Ruins are the only seasons thus far of The Challenge that have not had a first time winner. All winners of those challenges previously won another challenge.

Neither Eric Nies on BOTS2 nor Johnny on The Island had won before

Technically Eric Nies had Road Rules All-Stars so he would be right.

There is no way she is 28. On Fresh Meat on her first confessional it says she is 25 and Fresh Meat aired in 2006. Which was 7 years ago, so she is 32 or 33 now.
Mark Long has 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 challenge gaps between all of his challenges.
Here are all of the challenges from seasons 1-24 and Mark's challenges are highlighted.
1. Road Rules: All-Stars
2. RW/RR Challenge
3. Challenge 2000
4. Extreme Challenge
5. Battle of the Seasons
6. Battle of the Sexes
7. The Gauntlet
8. The Inferno
9. Battle of the Sexes 2
10. The Inferno II
11. The Gauntlet 2
12. Fresh Meat
13. The Duel
14. The Inferno 3
15. The Gauntlet III
16. The Island
17. The Duel 2
18. The Ruins
19. Fresh Meat II
20. Cutthroat
21. Rivals
22. Battle of the Exes
23. Battle of the Seasons 2
24. Rivals II
RW: Las Vegas 2 joins RW: Austin, RW: New Orleans, RW: Boston, and RR: The Quest as the only seasons in which every cast-memeber appeared on a RW/RR Challenge at least once.

It's been said here before that it was wrong. She was born June 12th, 1984, meaning she turned 29, 2 days ago.
Battle of the Seasons and Fresh Meat II are the only two seasons where every single person went into an elimination round, even if they were DQ'd before hand (i.e. Katelynn & Brandon).
The first females eliminated from each FM season (Evelyn, Cara Maria) have been invited back and were/are staples in the show, while the female winners from each FM season (Aviv, Carley) have not. Also, Kenny got second place on both seasons.

If I remember correctly, Carley has received calls (usually the first call of the bunch, but not the second) and was supposed to be cast instead of Cara Maria on Battle of the Seasons.
So, I was wondering if anyone knew about supposed casting for previous seasons that didn't work out? I've seen places online that certain people were meant to be casted for certain challenges/asked but backed out. Here's what I can think of off the top of my head... Feel free to correct me anywhere that I'm wrong. This is just stuff I've seen around the net. I thought it'd be interesting to compile this together.
Challenges 1-4: I honestly don't have a clue.
Battle of the Seasons (2002) - Ruthie and Colin were supposed to be represent Hawaii, Colin backed out a week prior to filming, replaced by ???, Lori was supposed to be Mike's partner for Back to New York, backed out and replaced by Coral. All three competitors who backed out/weren't cast would eventually be cast in Battle of the Sexes.
Battle of the Sexes - ?
Gauntlet - ?
Inferno - Piggy Thomas was initially cast, replaced by Christena from South Pacific
Battle of the Sexes 2 - Jisela was replaced by Kina (personal comment: why would she be a replacement over Angela?), Patrick (RR: X-Treme) backed out, didn't like his X-Treme edit, replaced with Shawn (RR: Semester at Sea)

The Inferno 2 - ?
Gauntlet 2 - Raquel (Campus Crawl) was apparently cast, replaced by ? (Personal comment: My guess is Jo).
Fresh Meat - Ruthie was called, was not a part of the final cast. Diem was also a finalist for Key West, but, due to wanting to keep some personal information private, was not cast, and therefore became Fresh Meat.
The Duel - Ev was supposed to be cast but backed out due to illness.
Inferno 3 - ? (I thought I heard about Susie being cast as a last minute replacement, but I don't know for who).
Gauntlet 3 - Svetlana and Jenn were apparently part of the initial cast. Jenn had to drop out and apparently Svet left at the airport (I don't know how true this is, sounds sketch, but if it's true...). Apparently, Janelle was one of the replacements.
The Island - ?
The Duel 2 - ?
The Ruins - Devyn (RW: Brooklyn) was part of the initial cast but backed out last minute, as well as Cara Zavaleta (RR: South Pacific). Susie replaced Cara, and eventually met her future husband there. I don't know who replaced Devyn (personal comment: my bet is on Sarah, her castmate.)
Fresh Meat II - Jonna was part of the initial cast, but a lost passport at the airport cost her this opportunity to win money. As seen on the show, she was replaced by Ev.
Cutthroat - I've seen around here that Casey was asked and said no. I don't know much about anyone else.
Rivals - Katie was supposed to be Sarah's initial Rival and had to back out a week prior to filming; she was replaced by Katelynn. I thought I heard V1 say that Beth got calls for this challenge, but could not do one because she was pregnant.
Battle of the Exes - I've read around here that various couples were meant to be on this show, including, Zach & Ashley K., Adam (who apparently failed the psych exam they instated as of this challenge) & Nany, KellyAnne (who apparently backed out due to not wanting to be in close proximity to Wes?) and Cohutta, and Jemmye & Knight. Sounds like a lot of possibilities, but considering the lack of couples on the show, it's possible that some of these could have been alternates. Cooke was also asked, but was told that they were "going a different direction." Coral was also asked; she would have been in lieu of Cara Maria. She said no.
Battle of the Seasons - Rumor has it that Frank and Arissa (RW: Las Vegas) were asked, with both saying yes. Leroy and Cooke were also originally meant to be a part of team Las Vegas, but then producers went about with the hybrid team of Alton, Trishelle, Dustin and Nany. Carley was also supposed to be a part of the Fresh Meat team instead of Cara Maria; Cara didn't receive her own authentic jersey until after the first mission. There was a Road Rules team consisting of Rachel R, Katie, Darrell and Derrick; apparently Shane and Susie were also asked (personal comment: Abram?!). Road Rules: San Diego (the original season, mind you) also would have had their own team, consisting of Brad, Robin, Cameran, and Randy, but Randy backed out. Emilee Fitzpatrick was the alternate for Cancun. And then there is the Team Sydney situation, where apparently, a team member (personal comment: I'm assuming Issac) had an undiagnosed heart condition, which led to their entire team (KellyAnne, Dunbar, Issac and Ashli) being sent home. Swift and Laurel also were tested for this Challenge, and Laurel apparently was supposed to be on the Fresh Meat team. However she backed out, not wanting to be on the same team as Big Easy. A DC cast was attempted, but Emily S. was the only willing female. Mike Manning and Ty would have been the men.
Rivals II: Numerous people were tested but not used, including Ashley Kelsey, LaToya, Swift and Laura Waller. Brandon Kane received the initial call but was turned down. Averey and Nia were asked, but Nia was not available. Everyone's favorite, Katelynn, was not called back. :D
I believe Melinda replaced Svetlana on Gauntlet 3 when she backed out at the airport. Perhaps V1 or Molds could give more information on what they know about replacements.

Sorry, but that kind of trivia is not my thing. Actually, I've been told that Sevetlana backed out while on her way to the airport, falling to the pressure of her boyfriend at the time who didn't want her to go.

Dan was originally casted on The Duel 2 but backed out last minute and was replaced by Ryan.
Danny was originally on the Cutthroat cast but back out and was replaced by Derrick.
Alton was also a alternate for The Island and The Ruins.
And for the record, I thought it would have been awesome to see Cara replaced Ibis on The Ruins, so they could have revamped the whole JEK vs. Susie situation to JEK vs. Susie & Cara.
Kendal and Aneesa were alternates for the Island. Obviously no one dropped out so they didn't make it on (unfortunately!) but that's interesting. Ruthie and Cohutta were alternates for FM2
