Haha poor Darrell. Imagine if he hadn't beaten up Brad on The Ruins and picked Laurel on Fresh Meat II. He could have been 6 for 6 in Challenge wins.
How does that make sense though? Why not just pick the same person again. that's basically unfair and weird.
Haha poor Darrell. Imagine if he hadn't beaten up Brad on The Ruins and picked Laurel on Fresh Meat II. He could have been 6 for 6 in Challenge wins.
I'm in total agreement. He's like 4/6 isn't he?
Wow. And without a doubt he would have won on the Ruins had he and Brad not act like buffoons. I see him staying at 4 wins now.
He still has the best winning percentage amongst the guys at 66%.
He still has the best winning percentage amongst the guys at 66%.
I think Landon's the highest of guys that have done more than 1. He's won 3 of 4 (75%) And Jamie of NOLA won all 3 of his--always forget about him
I think Landon's the highest of guys that have done more than 1. He's won 3 of 4 (75%)
Actually , you are correct. The Challenge (TV series) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Fairly comprehensive list on all the Challenges here through Battle of the Seasons 2.
Jamie was voted off G2 was he not?

Amazing.
I loved how its more comprehensive. Amazing.
Yes, check out the list of those who have appeared most ... Like Sarah Rice being in as many as Mark Long. Also, check the complete comprehensive list to see who appeared in what. Like Jamie Murray of RW9 has appeared in 3 and won all 3. There's a guy we need to see back doing Challenges too.
Jamie was voted off G2 was he not?
Nope. He won on the Rookies team (even though he wasn't a rookie, heh.)
Jamie was voted off G2 was he not?
No, he won the G2 but shouldn't have been a rookie
I remember that. I was so pissed off at that.
Haha poor Darrell. Imagine if he hadn't beaten up Brad on The Ruins and picked Laurel on Fresh Meat II. He could have been 6 for 6 in Challenge wins.
That's absolutely crazy. I never thought of it like that.
Haha poor Darrell. Imagine if he hadn't beaten up Brad on The Ruins and picked Laurel on Fresh Meat II. He could have been 6 for 6 in Challenge wins.
Hmmm... I wouldn't say "poor Darrell". it's not like he got injured or sick; he got in a fight. That was in his control. It does suck though... I remember watching the fight and it really upset me to see them go home, because Darrell and Toriless-Brad are in my top 10. And his FMII elimination interview was so sad too, it was like a retirement video.
No, he won the G2 but shouldn't have been a rookie
Yep he sure shouldn't have been. I never understood why they put him on the rookies team. I guess they weren't counting the 6 vs 6 challenges..but if that's the case why was David(Seattle) a Veteran?

The producers just made a mistake with Jamie.
They were counting the 6 vs 6 challenges. The producers just made a mistake with Jamie.
That makes sense. I figured they just made a bit of an Error.
The following people (who debut on Fresh Meat 1 or later) have never won a day challenge (and yes some of them have only been on 1 season) Johnnie (FM) Jesse (FM) Alex (Denver) Angel (RR VR) Brooke (Denver) - 2 shows Ashli (Sydney) Dave (Hollywood) Nick (Hollywood) - 2 shows Issac (Sydney) Katelynn (Brooklyn) - 2 shows Sydney (FM2) Sandy (FM2) Jeff (FM2) Emilee (Cancun) Nate (SD2) Priscilla (SD2) Heather (LV2) Naomi (LV2) Preston (NOLA2) Trey (STT) Robb (STT) Lacey (Austin) McKenzie (NOLA2) Laura (STT) Marie (STT) Mandi was a narrow miss with 4 shows and only 1 win (the raft on rivals)
Mandi was a narrow miss with 4 shows and only 1 win (the raft on rivals)
Which she shouldn't have won anyway but did thanks to her partner being able to get away with anything on the show
Jenn certainly does get away with quite a bit due to her social game.
Since I can't edit this into my post I went back and looked at everything before Fresh Meat (with eliminations) and only one person can be added from Battle of the Seasons - Gauntlet 2 (I didn't count Jo since I don't remember if she actually participated in the first challenge or not): David Edwards (LA) - First vote off on BOTS 1 and the girls won that challenge
I don't understand the hate for Mandi, TBH. She wasn't great, but she wasn't terrible either.
I don't understand the hate for Mandi, TBH. She wasn't great, but she wasn't terrible either.
For me, it's because she comes off as a girl who is easily swayed and will go with the main alliance to get far. Almost a modern day Paula. I prefer a Laurel, Emily, etc. type.
I think Mandi will always be associated with Wes and then when she was paired with Jenn nothing really changed in her play style at all.
I don't understand the hate for Mandi, TBH. She wasn't great, but she wasn't terrible either.
Right, me either. She seems sweet, likeable and is in good shape. She does fairly well but doesn't get much credit . It's kinda funny that a person posted that she isn't like Laurel and Emily, insinuating that they don't go with the power alliances, but both Emily and Laurel did exactly that on their first challenge lol. Mandi may not be as athletic as them but her using her social skills to advance because of that makes her more admirable in my eyes because Emily and Laurel don't need social skills to get them far in the game. Basically they kiss *** for no reason.

And Laurel didn't kiss *** at all - it was just that she was paired with Kenny. She certainly didn't kiss *** in Cutthroat or Rivals either - she stood up for herself against Abram and Paula/Tyler/Wes/Johnny.

The realities of the social dynamics of the challenges (except for the two 'Fresh Meat' seasons) are largely determined even before MTV approves the final cast. Emily and Laurel weren't kissing anyone's ****s, they were going with what had been decided well their challenges began. In my view, Mandi, while a very nice person, is at best a mid-ranked competitor with no strength of a surrounding alliance, while Emily and Laurel, along with Evelyn, are the top three women of the modern challenges. Unlike Evelyn who decided over time that she didn't want to tie herself to alliances, Emily and Laurel were mostly comfortable with the pre-show connections. It's not about "kissing ***," it's about staying with the commitments you made.

I do think Emily kisses butt a little bit though, there is something about her that seems fake to me (of course I don't know her personally, so that is completely only based on what Ive seen on tv). Laurel isn't afraid to speak her mind, even to her own alliance member, which I can respect .
