I decided to give BSG its own thread and moved that part of the discussion (even though it started off as a "Joss Whedon loves Battlestar Galactica" post.) I am a little too addicted and will take away from the spirit of this quasi tribute thread if I leave the BSG stuff here. :D
Number Six to end up in Joss Whedon's Dollhouse?
Battlestar Galactica doesn't wrap up until 2009, but that hasn't stopped one of its stars from looking for work. Tricia Helfer, who plays the h-o-t Cylon Number Six, has inked a deal with Fox. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Helfer signed on for a one-year talent holding deal with the network. The retainer would mean the model-turned-actress could be included in any number of Fox series in the works.
Now here's a thought. Joss Whedon's Dollhouse is set to air on Fox. Can we hope to see Number Six turn into a doll?
BTW: Joss has a two second cameo on Robot Chicken as an FCC guy watching Battlestar Galactica.

Kathleen....I just bought the new issue of Buffy. its pretty good!
I'm going to start rereading from the beginning though. Cuz now the comics have found their groove and i didnt really "read" the beginning issues well....if that makes any sense.
Makes perfect sense, I did a re-read just before issue 10 or 11.
I'm still a bit behind. I have 12 and 13 but I haven't read them yet. I'll probably do that this weekend and check the website and look at the upcoming issues to make some pre-orders.
I stopped ordering from Things From Another World. The site is great but their shipping is rather pricey and I have to order 4 copies to get the variant. BLAH. I found a pretty good local store today, so I'll probably just go there from now on

I totally read this wrong...and was like "omg no way did I say that before while not paying attention to what i was typing!!!!" buuuut it was just bacchus =)

I actually do read even the threads that do not overtly interest me in an attempt to insert myself at inappropriate times. It shows my level of commitment to these forums. :devil2:

oh yeah....great page re: Dollhouse in the new EW with Sex and the City on the cover!
Ive decided after re-watching Season 2 and part of 3 that Season 3 is actually my favorite. It has finally and officially beaten 2 out of the top spot.

I can't wait.
Coming soon to a computer near you... The story of a low-rent super-villain, the hero who keeps beating him up, and the cute girl from the laundromat he’s too shy to talk to. Featuring Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible, Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer, Felicia Day as Penny and a cast of dozens. Written by Joss Whedon,

has Kathleen disappeared from Vevmo entirely =/ ??
She is not on very often anymore.
I have to admit I loved watching all three of these shows. I can't help it supernatural shows are some of my favorite and these were definitely good in their time(though some faltered at the end).
Though Season 1 of Buffy will always be a cut above the rest for me (it was just so... unlike anything I had seen on tv before!), I think my favorite, storyline-wise, was Season 3.

Season 3 was definitely good with the introduction of Faith and sort of a split from the vampire being the main villain. I liked Season 2 because Angel turning evil was a nice twist and the battle in the finale was intense.
I was at WalMart the other day and they had Angel Season 3 for $18 so I picked it up. They also had Buffy seasons 4-7 for $28 each, but I didn't buy those because I'm trying to watch my pennies.
I'm kicking my *** about it though.

I agree, because Angel was my favorite character and for him to become a villain like that was phenomenal for me. plus with the season ending the way it did, goodness, I almost cried
I own all the Buffy's and Angel's on DVD. Kathleen...both series are also released in "the complete..." box sets! You should check that out sometime when you aren't planning a wedding lol
You think I could find a good deal on ebay? I've been just waiting for Walmart to put them in the discount rack. LOL
I'm so freakin' cheap.
I'm half way through season 3 of Angel and I'm falling in love all over again.
Although I wish I could have found season 1! I'm still mad that they killed Doyle.
Season 3 was really the best one, I think. When they worked for W&H, everything changed.
