Siobhan > Tim, though I do like Tim. Siobhan is still my favorite, I have absolutely NO IDEA why the judges are hating on her so much! Her performances IMO are amazing (I missed the "really bad one" like 2 weeks ago and I haven't listened to it yet, but her performance this week IMO was one of her best). That being said :P I think/hope Big Mike/Aaron will go next. Aaron has absolutely NO personality, whenever I try to think of the cast, I always forget him, and then when someone/thing reminds me, I'm like, "oh." And, does anyone else think that, when Casey tries to hold a note, he sort of sounds like a sheep? He does that little neighing thing with his voice...nevertheless, I like him, but he;s not my favorite.

I'd need to hear something young and current from her to be sure she has what it takes to succeed. She's had some good moments but does anyone really care if she can sing golden oldies well? Those types of songs won't move units off shelves or make iTunes sales.
That being said :P I think/hope Big Mike/Aaron will go next.
Younger contestants do seem to either show not enough of their personality or sometimes, perhaps too much (Allison). Maybe it's nerves or just being a bit overwhelmed at participating in something of that scope for the first time in their lives, but I believe the personality is there somewhere. I think Michael has less than Aaron. If he didn't have a newborn to talk about, where would he be?
And, does anyone else think that, when Casey tries to hold a note, he sort of sounds like a sheep?
That is why it's referred to as Goat Vibrato ^_^ And that is pretty much the only thing that bugs me about his performances. He probably has less than a 1% chance of winning but I hope he makes it anyway, and goes on to rock out like Daughtry and hopefully erases the embarrasment of David Cook from my memory.

This is interesting... According to TMZ, the soulful dreadlocked rocker walked off the show and was ready to call it quits, when host Ryan Seacrest saved the day. The incident reportedly took place in the parking lot following the taping of the show in front of a group of people. Crystal reportedly told Ryan, "What's the point?" and said she couldn't handle the competition. The singer said she was planning on leaving and returning to Ohio to be with her family. Ryan reportedly consoled the singer telling her, "The greatest thing I ever did was make enough money so I could buy my mom a house. You can buy your mom a house." Ryan's little pep talk appears to have worked. Crystal remains in the competition and last week sang Elvis Presley's, "Saved," which yet again earned her very high praise from the judges.
Yeah I quite like Mike and have really enjoyed most of his performances. I find him to be much more comfortable on the stage than most of the other contestants.

If sob stories trumped good vocals, Gokey would have won last year and Didi would still be around. I do think that Mike's performances come off as corny on stage though. He has some decent vocals and is comfortable on stage, but nothing that can compete with Crystal as of yet.
I don't think his vocals are that great and his voice annoys me and isn't to my taste...
I don't think his vocals are that great and his voice annoys me and isn't to my taste...
Who? Please clarify.
Sorry...Big Mike, forgot to quote that post.
I think its gonna be between Casey, Tim, and Aaron tonight. Casey and Tim sound the same every night and are boring. Aaron is just not as strong as the others. Big Mike might go home too since he has been in the bottom 3 every week so far. Its obvious it will come down to Siobhan, Crystal, and Lee. Lee is good, but he will be like another Kris or David Cook. So I hope Crystal or Siobhan win.

Everyone is talking about her all over the place. This is why Adam lost last year. People will get sick of her. I also think that was a fake cry last night. Tim is getting better week after week. Casey is good, but is the same. Aaron is okay. Lee FTW!!
Actually, Big Mike has only been in the bottom three once.

I do like her though and would be happy if either one of them won (although my preference is Lee :)).
I only saw half of last night. It was catch up time for All My Children but anyway did anybody else's dvr not record the last 30 or so minutes?
I only saw half of last night. It was catch up time for All My Children but anyway did anybody else's dvr not record the last 30 or so minutes?
Yea, they ran 22 minutes over. It's ridiculous. They continue to run over when AI is pretty much the simplest show to produce. They do enough rehearsals and enough of the program is scripted that it really shouldn't be a problem. But they make stupid mistakes with the cameras, Seacrest is apparently trying to be the next Idol with the way he has been hogging air time, dancing in the aisle during a performance and confronting Simon this season. On top of that, 4 judges is just ridiculous. I don't need to hear Randy say "pitchy" and "yo, dawg" after every contestant, Ellen hasn't been funny just confusing and rambling, Kara has been better but I'm over her "connect to the song" stuff and Simon has pretty much signed off, waiting until he can start X-factor. They did it on Tuesday too and ended up cutting off the last 5 minutes of Glee. Enough people voiced their anger that they are doing a special encore so we can finally see the final song. They need to get rid of a judge and tell Seacrest to shut his trap and stop trying to hog the spotlight. Luckily, Idol probably won't be around long anyway with Simon leaving after this year. Thank god Tim is finally gone so I won't have to suffer through his performances anymore!
Yeah I have a feeling Adam Lambert will be the new judge and itll be a one season thing, if that
Really? I don't see him being the judge at all. He just started his music career and as far as I know (I don't really follow his album sales or anything) it seems to be off to a good start. Why take a break so soon to be a judge on a falling show? Yea it has tons of viewers and he would be on the TV weekly, but it won't be spent singing or promoting his music. It may be just me but judging reality competitions seems to reserved for those who want to get back in the spotlight after a relatively lengthy career, not newcomers. Who knows though, they could offer him a paycheck he couldn't refuse.
I think its obvious it will be michael, casey, and Aaron in the bottom 3 this week. I think Aaron or Casey should go home this week. Its all downhill from here, either Siobhan, Lee or Crystal wins.

I would be shocked if Casey went home, imo he did the best last night.

I don't think Siobhan did well at all last night. I thought it was downright awful. Shania wasn't smiling. I don't think she cared for it either. She was so good at first, but she's really fallen off. I don't know what's happening. She must sound different live than through the tv. I don't think she'll go home though. People already like her. Aaron did really well last night. If the votes were true to how well they actually did that week, I think Siobhan and Mike would be bottom two. Overall... Casey is the worst still there even though he had a good week. So, IMO.. Mike and Casey should be bottom two.
Didn't like Mike, Casey, Siobhan, Crystal or Aaron this week. As long as I can close my eyes while he's singing, I definitely want Lee to win at this point.

Overall I definitely like him better than Casey but I definitely thought this was one of Lee's worst weeks and was one of the worst over all. I don't think he is going anyway though, so now worries. ;)

I agree his performance this week was meh but not gonna lie when he sung that song i smiled like hell because that's my favorite Shania song.
Let me guess you a Lee stan now? I agree his performance this week was meh but not gonna lie when he sung that song i smiled like hell because that's my favorite Shania song.
It's possible the reason I didn't get him at first was my perception of his weak song choices. He is by nature a little bit of a "rocker dude" and that suits my tastes, so as long as his song choices are on point (and really, you can't go wrong with Shania) he's got my vote. Can't say I'm looking forward to next week's theme though, ugh. Casey has since the top 12 developed an overpowering vibrato that distracts from anything else he's trying to do. Oddly, Shakira has it too but she makes it sound great. I kind of felt bad for Siobhan because she was my early favorite, but it's been readily apparent for a while that she can't hit/hold the notes in the lower register well. Had she stayed in the range of yesterdays "Think" the whole time, I don't think Crystal or anyone else could have beat her.
I'm disappointed Siobhan got eliminated. I should have voted for her, but I didn't vote at all. Too bad the save is gone too. I hope Crystal wins now. Her being the only girl means she is gonna have to step up more. Otherwise it could be another two guy showdown finale.

I am hoping for a Lee/Casey finale. I hope Casey wins but Lee is really good. I wouldnt mind any of the guys winning, i just hope its not Crystal.
