None of these rookies mean anything--you likely don't know half of them and we haven't seen them on this show so you have no idea if they're actually strong. I think we have a solid group this season. They all are fluent English. There are connections throughout the rookie cast and even with rookies and vets. I can see a case for every rookie returning and as of right now there's none I'd be mad at seeing again besides Blue and something annoys me about Adrianna but I have no reason to feel that way.

Johnny Bananas first season was The Duel, 2006. Cory's first season was Bloodlines, 2015
She length between Bananas and Cory debuting on the challenge is 9 years. These season 41 rookies are obviously in 2025, which is 10 years away from 2015.
Do in terms of Challenge longevity, Cory is officially closer to Bananas on the Challenge timeline than he is to any rookie that debuts now or later.
So at this point, it would technically be wiser for Cory to align with old vets like bananas and be anti rookie, because these rookies are now at the exact age that he was when he premiered with the goal of 'getting rid of the washed up vets.' (In terms of 'Challenge age,' not real age, as the rookies they case nowadays are much older)

i agree with this. couple that with the fact the whole season is titled around "new threats" they're obviously going to be a central focus of the season. and with them all being in their 20s & english speakers it seems they would want to develop this group as their next gen

There's no rhyme or reason to production's decisions. They need rookies to continue this show. This is an amazing rookie class. Most have made it far enough to earn a callback. Even the early flop Blue has a decent fan base and is a minority so she could return. Leka and Izzy are hot minority women who are both fit. The rest have made it nearly 10 episodes. That's enough to prove their name and earn a spot. It's a cast that has the potential to connect with fans. I say we see half of them return if not 75%...depending on their experience.
