probably will be one more single mens elimination then i'd imagine something has to switch up, unless they wanna keep this going forever
agreed. sindysus posted this potential schedule and it's def something i could see happening, after the next males day it'll prob be doubles until the finale
that schedule also adds up bc ep 10 is always around the time they do their mid season shakeup & there will have been even men and women "rogue agents"
rogans boot - woman rogue
nias boot - man rogue
bens boot - woman rogue
izzy's boot - man rogue
after fridays boot everything will be even & time for doubles
Idk why yall engage with that man who clearly sees what someone posts then immediately becomes a contrarian. Like I get difference in opinion but that devil's advocate post about Michaela (who wasn't even out) just proved he's a total troll
If we could just get rid of all the rookies now that would be great. Dee can stay.
Rookies>Vets this season. Time for you to move on. The new era is IN!
The rookies are garbage and you know it. Most won't even be back.
I've been the most critical of their rookies casting in recent years, but overall they did well on this. Vet casting is píșs poor too which makes the rookie casting seem even better.
off topic but has anyone else noticed that Amber B has been quiet on social media and not promoting tonight's episode of All Stars? I think she might be in sequester for amazing race right now

I doubt it. She's not really a priority to CBS. She'd only get on unless everyone they actually wanted declined

there are literally 100 people they would call before Amber b for a bb only alumni and friends season
America being compared to Queen Kailah?? Ooo I knew I picked the right one. Her, Ashley, Jonna, Dee and Michaela making a deep run is making this season for me
kailah would overhear america being a loudmouth and throw her luggage off the balcony. those two don't seem alike at all to me. but i can see america being messy in a similar way regarding being an outcast type of person on her rookie season
I love how Cory called the rookies boring but night one Izzy was destroying someone's 4 year relationship, Justin took out Rogan, and Gabe sent John into retirement.
I love how Cory called the rookies boring but night one Izzy was destroying someone's 4 year relationship, Justin took out Rogan, and Gabe sent John into retirement.
Okay so I just looked this up
Johnny Bananas first season was The Duel, 2006. Cory's first season was Bloodlines, 2015
She length between Bananas and Cory debuting on the challenge is 9 years. These season 41 rookies are obviously in 2025, which is 10 years away from 2015.
Do in terms of Challenge longevity, Cory is officially closer to Bananas on the Challenge timeline than he is to any rookie that debuts now or later.
So at this point, it would technically be wiser for Cory to align with old vets like bananas and be anti rookie, because these rookies are now at the exact age that he was when he premiered with the goal of 'getting rid of the washed up vets.' (In terms of 'Challenge age,' not real age, as the rookies they case nowadays are much older)
Despite Cory absolutely failing at beating any of the old established vets, he is now one of them. So if you can't beat them, might as well join them.
Interesting how time passes. The length between the 'old washed up veterans' and Lavendar Ladies and TYB on the Challenge timeline, is now roughly the same period of time between LL/TYB versus the rookies debuting now. Even though it doesn't really feel that way, the Bloodlines-Invasions era generation ARE now the washed up vets.
This obviously excludes some vets like CT and Aneesa who debuted far before people like Camila, Cara Maria, Bananas, and Wes
And now that Cory's 'challenge age' is the same 'challenge' age that Bananas was when Cory premiered, and because I'm still mad at him for voting in Amanda let's compare Bananas and Cory first 10 flagship seasons.
Bananas: loss - FINAL - loss - WON - WON - loss - WON - WON - FINAL - WON, elimination record at the time: 7-4
Cory: FINAL - loss - FINAL - loss - loss - loss - FINAL - FINAL - loss - loss, elimination record: 11-5 (11-6 if you count redemption)
So while Cory's elim record is more impressive and has built a name for himself, yeah it's fair to say that he fell short in terms of wanting to 'take over' as the new generation.
edit: TO CORY'S credit, the Challenge has gotten a lot harder leading into the 2010's and 2020's, as they've made challenges, finals harder and they've started to cast athletes/professionals/people already experienced in reality tv, rather than back in bananas day where they just casted basically just college frat bros from the real world. But still, the stats fall short
additionally, Jonna's episode count for her last four seasons combined is 16. this is less than one full flagship season LMAO
If Jonna, Ashley, and Michaela make it further, it'll be a breath of fresh air for them to be more of the centerpieces for storylines. Ashley's coming off a hiatus, end even before the hiatus she was in a flop era. None of those three has has much time on the flagship in years.
In fact, I'd say that the final will probably be a combination of that group with maybe 1 or 2 underdogs/rookies mixed in there instead as the outliers. Unless the second half of the game has a format that gives rookies a numbers advantage.
I can't imagine any of the male vets left growing close with Turbo. If I had to guess he's gonna be getting targeted soon since he's a clear social outlier
agreed. sindysus posted this potential schedule and it's def something i could see happening, after the next males day it'll prob be doubles until the finale
ep 1 - pairs form
ep 2 - rogan
ep 3 - blue
ep 4 - cara (quit), nia
ep 5 - jonna joins, bananas out
ep 6 - ben
ep 7 - leka
ep 8 - izzy
ep 9 - male out
ep 10 - 24 to 22
ep 11 - 22 to 20
ep 12 - 20 to 18
ep 13 - 18 to 16
ep 14 - 16 to 14
ep 15 - 14 to 12
ep 16 - 12 to 10
ep 17 - 10 to 8
ep 18/19 - final

Can we get some FEMALE matchups please
It's truly idiotic to just think "if I don't know them they're garbage" and that is clearly your ideology.
MAD (michaela, america and dee) really got yall******* mad!
I've been the most critical of their rookies casting in recent years, but overall they did well on this. Vet casting is píșs poor too which makes the rookie casting seem even better.
one of these aren't like the other and you KNOW who it is
kvm got good taste*******

she hasn't really promoted AS 5 at all
I know Olivia was scared lmaoooo *aneesa laughing gif*

Theo & Izzy would be a hot couple but I'll take Izzy and Rogan... hope they show their hookup graphically

I don't think America and Kailah was meant to be a 1:1 comparison.
Maybe she cheated on Cory and is peeing in the bed.
Absolutely not. Imma need you to pick a better name.
Yeah I don't expect them to be that alike but I can see the similarities from what PR said
I love how Cory called the rookies boring but night one Izzy was destroying someone's 4 year relationship, Justin took out Rogan, and Gabe sent John into retirement.

adding onto null's fun facts, Ashley will appear on more episodes this season than she did on 4 of her last 5 seasons:
AS5 - 4 eps
SLA - 14 eps
DA - 3 episodes
TM - 4 episodes
and given that next ep will be a guys day, Jonna is guaranteed to at least tie for the most episodes she's been on in her last 4 seasons;
AS5 - 2 eps
40 - 6 eps
USA2 - 2 eps
WC - 6 eps
if she survives the next two rounds, she will surpass these seasons and appear in at least 7 episodes, making it her longest appearance since AS3.
additionally, Jonna's episode count for her last four seasons combined is 16. this is less than one full flagship season LMAO

My Prediction is that the 'main characters' of the season will be
Nany, Aneesa, Olivia, Ashley, Michaela, Leroy, Derek, Theo, CT.
In fact, I'd say that the final will probably be a combination of that group with maybe 1 or 2 underdogs/rookies mixed in there instead as the outliers. Unless the second half of the game has a format that gives rookies a numbers advantage.
