No, no, no, you're not getting away with this dumb shit. Aviv lasted 15 episodes and did nothing but cling to Bananas' back like a baby spider monkey. She didn't have one moment all season, she was not good at dailies, and she went home.
Ignore the Michele/foot incident...her ONE MOMENT that could've been hers all season: Darrell calls her and Derek out as his pick for elimination. Aviv's response? Crickets. Dead air. Averey did more to save Aviv there than Aviv did.
She brought nothing to the season and she sure as hell didn't deserve a callback for one of eight vet spots. It's an absolute joke. She actually brought less than Aneesa.
she returned after a bunch of seasons, made it to the top 6 females, aligned with the right people (I hate John but her Jenny and Rachel were smart for this on this season at least with how the numbers were falling) - and she was just a fun normal person. I don't need everyone to be over dramatic and insane. It's nice to have people who are nice and great competitors too. She def deserved a call back after last season.

The main show can always reserve 1-4 spots for OGs from era 1. One of the great things about the challenge is that all ages are represented. I mean, Beth, Mark, Syrus, Montana, Timmy, etc. were all practically seniors in comparison to others when they competed on several seasons back in the day.
No. They need to compete on their own show. Look what happened to era 1 last season, even though most of the issue was cause they are too stupid to sit people out to make team challenges fair. The oldheads need their own show to compete on. However, I'll be happy to see them on any season.
I agree with cosmic - a solid mix makes a good season. Yes era 1 died a fast but painful to watch death except for Queen Rachel - but they also got targeted early on too - there was one or two times the other teams could have played art and spared them weakening another era but didn't.
In general I think multiple factors can go into how any cast member does regardless of their age - and having a Tina or Rachel on the same season as Nia or Averey along with Nurys or Olivia just makes for a whole bunch of different dynamics, life experiences, and personalities come together who normally wouldn't and they can stop being polite and start getting real

I think The Challenge would have been a top tier show if the casting pool after WOTW2 would have only been BB, Survivor, BB Canada, Australian Survivor. But they also had to edit it differently and embrace drama and fun.
I prefer four person teams over pairs. With pairs, having a bad partner is such an achor. And teams makes the group politicis more interesting. But I get the point that the team with the least number of people will likely continue to get decimated (like what happened to era 1). They'll probably switch to individuals half way anyways.

I wish so badly that I watched The Real World + Road Rules back when it was on, and that I watched The Challenge when it would take rookies from them every season. I would've been so excited to get to know them and then see which of my favorites transitioned to the challenges!

That was the magic that made the show work. It was so fun watching RW/RR back in the day and then seeing your favorites compete. Seeing them evolve....or never evolve was fun. It was such a magical time. The Tonya arch in real time from Chicago to Inferno 2 was such a wild ride. I'll forever be gagged seeing Rachel from BTNY show up looking like a different person on The Gauntlet.

A 4 person team isn't that bad but instead of partner elims just 1 person goes in based on which gender elim day it is idk
