I don't think anybody has ruined the show more than him. He doesn't bring any entertainment, even his tantrums are just unpleasant to watch, he has no athletic ability but somehow dominates socially despite seeming generally annoying.

Politics is one of (if not my most) facvorite parts of the show--he's not good at it and is annoying. People keep him around because he's a number and a layup.
The Tori feud seemed very performative to me. He knows Tori isn't liked by the fans and he did that on purpose to try to win the masses.
