I wonder if the Adam/Averey romance had started at this point in the game. We haven't been shown any real indication of it, apart from them wanting to do well for one another in that one challenge.

We wouldn't know. Apparently we only are going to get a whole season of Kam and Nicole/Laurel.

I thought we might get some of it considering the scene of Leroy cutting Adam's hair; Averey was present, and Adam seemingly presented a deal/agreement to Leroy. Then we never returned to that dynamic at all, and Adam voted to send Leroy into elimination. What was the point of that initial scene? I even liked that scene, by the way, but usually those are setting something up later in the episode. The preview for next week didn't seem to tie back to that either. It it was just meant to be a random scene of players socializing, then give us Flora and Kefla instead since Leroy was in so many scenes in the episode.
I feel like this episode was a lot of unnecessary rambling blah blah her comes Leroy and Kam to talk again. Kam pumps and fights with Cara once again about the vote. Blah blah we get to see Leroy talk about therapy and having post partum. Challenge. Guess who's up for elimination you guessed it Leroy! So more rambling from him and his girl? Yes let's give them more confessionals of them talking about generational curses, being good parents, photos of their baby, blah blah blah. Enough already! I'm beyond sick of Kam and Leroy. This is making me want to read spoilers and see when they go home, hopefully its soon. Never liked Kam and Leroy I only liked when Camila was being racist against him. Before thought he was always just John's lapdog. Ugh these two are ruining the best season that could've been. What did everyone else think when this episode leaked? It's been the worst one so far.
Yikes! I knew something was off about you from the way you been coming at Kam hard, but that part about Leroy is such a wild thing to say
can we talk about how the orange teams tube was filled to the tippy top while the dark blue had like 2 inches missing from the start? also why was kam allowed to take her bobble head off?

The entire challenge was clearly an inconsistent mess.
I think I remember it has been said they didnt become a thing until after filming? Can someone confirm or deny? But he's definitely already crushing on her atp at least (and I dont blame him)

Production is always inconsistent mess who constantly changes rules and rigs things to benefit their friends.
They REALLY gotta get better at showcasing more variety in confessionals. Ace, an acutal OG, only have 4 is frustrating.
I mean Ace's edit kinda makes sense? Every time we see him he's laying down and not really doing much. He also seemingly gets along with everyone and is throwing burn votes out most of the time.
There's very few continuing storylines this season outside of Kam's Alliance vs. Cara and the Laurel/Nicole romance. I hope it picks up in the middle but it seems like the next two or three episodes are gonna be all about those stories and not much else.
I wonder if ace just gives them nothing in confessionals? Last episode with him telling cara that they were definitely targeting her and she didnt want to believe it, seemed like an obvious choice to insert an Ace confessional if they had one.
regardless, they definitely need to spread out the confessionals more. This isnt that big of a cast, nor is there many episodes. They can easily have the ones low in confessional count explain the daily (ie Kaycee the couch edit)

Yeah I don't think Ace and some others are key votes or really a main part of what's going on. Having said that, personally I'd still love to see some moments of them all just hanging out and such. This episode we got that scene of Leroy cutting Adam's hair. It didn't end up being relevant to the rest of the episode, so they could have shown us Flora or Ace or Kefla with that time.
Cara has said she got along with Ace and Jay, and we saw the 3 of them walking out together to that discussion about the vote. I am wondering if they're becoming an alliance, and that would be relevant to what's going on in the house. Why not show us that?
Brandon said him and Ace were pretty close in an interview I just read and that he wishes they showed their interactions. Which could have been showcased anywhere in this recent episode but I guess since Leroy won they decided to just focus soley on him for the most part.
and i know many people are annoyed but i always love watching laurel and nicole trainwreck content,, cause you know that isn't a fake storyline those two are genuinely bonkers
also if production is reading this: please stop showing family phone call segments or confessionals on how much they love their people back at home. WE DO NOT CARE!!!!
One very worrisome aspect to me is that of the 6 people actually eliminated so far (not counting Tony since he left on his own), 5 of them are Black. Like wtf?
Ok so the truth is coming out! In a new interview Brandon talks about how much he loves Cara and how when he'd get invited to events, she is the first one he was calling to invite and would even say he wasn't doing it if she wasn't there. He says "That's my girl" and they are working on things. That aligns with Jay saying they were each other's #1s. So, yeah, Cara had all the reason in the world to think he'd have her back, and his comment about not speaking in 8 years was just deflection.
I say all of that while also knowing Brandon can make a game move. Just own it as a game move instead of giving fake reasons. Cara was onto the "smokescreen" and knew he just didn't want to face her in a final (which he'd also said in a confessional last episode).
Brandon also said there were 3 rounds of that elimination he lost to Leroy. Brandon won the first round, and Leroy won the last two.
Brandon also said he and Ace had a lot of conversations and were close. He said Ace talks shit about everybody. So, yeah, the editors are paying Ace dust but there is likely funny stuff there.
The daily was weird when it came to determining the winner as well... why was time and the amount of liquid combined. It shouldve just been the team with the most amount of liquid saved in the fastest time, making Cara's team the winner. They did some weird formula.
I found an interview with Rachel, too, and like these quotes:
"I'm a woman's woman, so I'm not going to come in and be like, 'I want to take out Cara [Maria Sorbello],' or, 'I want to take out Laurel [Stucky]' -- I didn't come in trying to take out the strongest competitors," she says. "And once we learn there's only one winner, I, just as the woman I am, want a woman to win. So I wasn't trying to set up the strongest women in the house to fail. I felt that if we could all work together, we could settle this in the final."
And she put her money where her mouth is right away. "In fact, I actually said that to Cara and Laurel the first week in the house," Rachel says. "And their history is obviously extremely complicated and I don't need to get involved in it, but I basically sat them both down and said, 'I'm happy to settle this in the final if you both are,' and of course, we all looked at each other and shook hands and winked and went on. Now, if that lasts or not, we'll have to see. But that was where my head was at."
Having competed on some of the more controversial seasons of The Challenge, Rachel is no stranger to seeing how women take a back seat to the men in this franchise. And she's determined now more than ever to switch that up. "The men get all of the glory from the show, and the women get the backlash," she explains. "The, 'You're too strong, you're too loud, you're too *****y, you're too victimized,' whatever it is, it's always 'too something.' So my mission now is to make sure that women get their credit when it comes to The Challenge, because the truth is that on our backs, the ratings have soared. And you will see, hands down, when you watch All Stars 4, why the women deserve their flowers when it comes to the success of The Challenge, and that's something I'm super proud of."

It took them a whole year to give a poorly edited great product. All we can do is laugh at how dumb Skkkye Toxic is.

What is needed is more Kefla!

Saying you only like someone when they were having a slur hurled at them is crazy.
I don't wanna hear a thing Chavo gotta say atp.
damn these ppl are kind of boring.. cara and kam are providing.

Why would Orange have six people and then only give light blue four?
Ok, I finally watched (skipped the leak) and y'all talk about Kam's screen time more than it actually happens.
Not saying she isn't leading confessionals but she's not the only presence on screen.
Orange had 5 - Kam, Steve, Tina, Derek, Kefla

I wish they'd get that lesbianism off of my screen! Nicole is GROSS!
