I totally agree with you about Danny. Everyone loved him because he is white and good looking. Him asking his partner if he could cheat in New Orleans was cringe. And like you said he could be judgmental against David as was Kelley. Funny he was also judgmental about Stephen on Battle of the Seasons and told a crazy story about him (Stephen) ************ over him (Danny) while he was sleeping. Now that wasn't caught on camera and if it is true it is weird but for some reason I'm not believing Danny. He's come off as a bitter queen in some of his interviews after the show. I can't help but notice his intolerance of black males. Plus him and Kelley making fun of Jamie of all people comes off as mean girlish. Jamie is probably the coolest most laid back person on this cast. Nothing to make fun of.
Ugh, him and Kelley making fun of Jamie, who was probably the nicest, realest and most chill person on that cast always bothered me. They seemed jealous of him almost. Kelley and him had their flirtmance but he was just doing that, flirting. She seemed bitter.
He also flirted with Julie a lot.
I know people who have known Danny in NYC. I have stories but won't ever say them. However, I don't believe him about Stephen either. Danny won't even acknowledge BOTSeasons now if you ask.
But I agree about Mr. rural Georgia native playing NYC gay coming off wrong when it comes to black males. Him marrying and sleeping with men of color means nothing. He fetishizes black men, now he's with a white one again though.
I believe it. I heard he really spiraled out of control when he was on that horrible DTLA show.
Y'all keep coming for Matt but I liked Matt. He was small minded, yes, but most people are (especially back then). That's how he was brought up. I hope he's grown since then. But he was the only person in that house who tried to befriend and be there for David while everyone else talked down to him and talked about hiM behind his back. "Queen" Melissa too, who automatically labeled him an angry black man to the white people in that house. No one ever took that he may be dealing with issues back home into consideration but Matt. Not even precious Melissa or "woke" Danny.

Maybe that was my disconnect with this season is how "white" the cast was. It got uncomfortable to watch at times how they treated David. And lil miss Melissa over there joining in and acting like an Uncle Tom against David.
I rewatched the "Come on be my baby tonight" episode and laughed my a#$ off. It was hilarious back then and still is. That to me is the most iconic part of the season. That song lived on! And it's hilarious to watch him be dead serious and defiantly holding to it like it's his great art and Kelley getting angry.

That song is the most remembered part of that season lol.
That song is the most remembered part of that season lol.
Yes! lol. David was the outcast/most hated but he got the most memorable part for sure. lol. I remember everyone going around singing that and laughing. It's stuck in my head right now!
Is anyone else more excited for this one than LA? I'm sure LA will have more drama (Beth S, Tami, David and Glen) but it's nice having the whole cast and I think this cast is more "likeable"
Not me. I am very excited for LA but honestly I'm very let down that this is the next cast. I never liked this season for some reason. I just didn't connect with any of them. Danny is a ****** and Kelley could be at times. I didn't even like Melissa and Julie and I got joy out of their fight on Battle of the Sexes. 100% looking forward to L.A. over this.
For me I have very strong connections with the L.A. cast over this one. I've watched Tami on several shows since 1993, she's just always been in my life and I've even had an online relationship with her. Same for Beth she did several challenges and I spoke to her on MySpace. Even Dave Edwards I used to talk to regularly on Twitter. Now New Orleans was just here in gone in the year 2000 for me. Jamie would be the one I feel a connection with due to how many Challenges he did and won. Julie did a few but I just never liked her for some reason.
I'm surprised Gamer or Pink hasn't told or even hinted that they're combining both NOLA casts and not everyone from both seasons will be involved.
Can't wait for Jemmyes "We in the NOLA bayybeeh" during the intro for this
I hope not
You don't want to watch them argue about which season did it better and then come together and have a tribute to Knight while eating crawfish down town?
lol I swear it was! A couple of times. "back to you" played when blurry military showed up for Danny. "Free falling" played when Julie was skateboarding. I have a random memory for things like that.
So is there any chance anyone fights on this season? I watch reality tv for fights more than anything else (which is why Homecoming L.A. is coming to slay the boring first season). I don't care about these people or what they've been up to. I'd like it if we can get a Julie vs. Melissa Battle of the Sexes part 2 but any chances of that happening?
There's always a chance of people fighting. I don't see Melissa yelling at Julie like on Sexes but I can see them having a heated discussion. There might be some tension with David but I'm pretty sure Melissa is the only one who would yell in this cast.

I'm annoyed they don't have the original New Orleans on Paramount+

Definitely more excited about New Orleans than LA. I don't have any strong connection to anyone on LA other than maybe Beth.
They're too cheap to pay for all the John Mayer music originally used in the season, among other artists.

It can't be that hard to replace some tracks.
I'm very excited for NOLA. Definitely more excited than LA. I'm really hoping the Hawaii cast can rally and do this. I would love for them to be next!
John Mayer music was not on NOLA lol

Idk if they're already there or coming in EX-plosion style part way into filming.
I hope not
Ew. That kills all nostalgia if they start the gimmicks

Not at all. RIP Knight, but NOLA 2 was one of the worst seasons, imo
Y'all do realize they were trolling, right?
I have a source they just lie sometimes
not everyone knows Timster is special
lol I swear it was! A couple of times. "back to you" played when blurry military showed up for Danny. "Free falling" played when Julie was skateboarding. I have a random memory for things like that.
Knight and the other Ryan were two of the worst guys to be on a real world season
This. I never understood why people liked him. RIP but no.

I have no connection to this season because I never watched it, but I hope Julie challenges Melissa to a wrestling match out on the lawn.
