Kelley did an Instagram live about two or three months ago and asked the people in the comments if they would watch a NOLA Homecoming and admitted they had been asked to do it. She then explained how her and Danny went on some camping trip together (and almost got eaten by bears) and discussed what the positives of doing this show would be, because none of them initially wanted to. She said her and Danny both suffer from ptsd from their mtv days and didn't know if it was worth it. They eventually came to the conclusion that it very well could be a positive experience and a moment to reflect with each other, reminisce and heal any wounds that were caused in the past like mature adults. They don't wanna go if it's gonna be screaming and fighting about stuff that happened 20 years ago.

So either he's posting old stuff while in quarantine or...they are not filming yet? Obviously he could have someone else posting for him too, but that seems a bit unnecessary?

It could be old or it got delayed for a few days but this season is 100% happening. It was supposed to happened last month but things got pushed back over the hurricane.
My predictions are hopeful. I hope Julie and Melissa reconcile since not speaking since BOTS1. Julie admits she was wrong and Melissa realizes she was getting upset about 1k or less lol. All 3 women are very well off financially. Kelley is married to Scott Wolf, Melissa to Justin Beck, and Julie to a successful ophthalmologist.
I predict as some have already said that most of the drama will revolve around Matt.
David will do an encore remix of Come on be my baby tonight.
Hmmm.... Kelley mentioned PTSD. Maybe we haven't considered that part of it. I bet a lot of castmembers had that in the past after filming and maybe returning would be triggering? Especially since the potential for fighting/awkwardness is high when they are forced to revisit old clips they probably don't want to.
I'm more excited to see David and the rest of them interact. None of them got along with him and he isolated himself from them a lot of the time, so much so that they even called a house meeting to confront him on this. The one person he got along well with was Melissa and they ended up getting into it later in the season too. I remember one episode Danny saying David was a "stereotype" of a black man. While I find David unreasonably cold and distant on rewatch, I don't think everyone else was so great either.
Then there is an episode later in the season where Danny and Kelley are talking shit about Jamie. I hated that. Jamie was always trying to be nice to them but later in the season they could be so rude to him.

I am thrilled for this season. However - I never saw the original LA season and part of that Homecoming feels weird with just three "full-timers" there and four "part-timers". Having all original (well, only) seven here will be just as special as Homecoming New York. New Orleans was the first season I watched in full - very coming of age time.

New Orleans was the first season I watched live so it has the true nostalgic factor for me. I'm excited to see everyone! I got the NY dvds in middle school but I just watched LA for the first time. Beth ruined her appeal for me, she is truly horrible. I've never Tami on other shows so I'm excited to see her on this but everyone else is kind of meh to me. I wish New Orleans was airing first lol.

He then says he won't but ends up cheating anyway. He could be super judgmental with David, as could Kelley.
