I don't know who on mtv's team decided the right ******* move was to start casting people in the late 20s early 30s but they need to be fired. It seems like the entertaining drama has been taken out of the shows. It's getting more and more geared toward being a sport show that has some drama.
The problem with casting all these old ***** is that they are mature and don't make "drunken mistakes" that we want to see people make. It seems like the show forgot it's a reality show first. You could blame the casting age increase on the fact that they still cast people like CT, Wes, and Bananas (more on them in the later) and they don't want the old men to stick out too much but it's getting ridiculous. It's been forever since we've gotten genuine drama on this show and it's annoying.
All in all their casts average age should be somewhere from 24-28. You can have a couple of 30+ but not more than 4-5 because nobody watched reality tv to see old people try to compete and not cause any drama.
And this burn is dedicated to the senior citizens. There is no reason why CT, Wes, and Bananas should be on almost every damn season. I understand that somewhere in productions peanut sized brain they think "they're the faces of the show" well sweetie that's because you forced it. There is no reason people should do 6 challenges in a row (Kyle). Production needs to start changing the cast up more because imo (and I say MY OPINION) WOTW 2, Total Madness, and Double Agents have all felt like the same cast in 3 different formats.
In a perfect world you could only do 3 seasons in a row before a required break. And every new seasons cast should only have about 25-35% of it be recycled from the season before. With the large group of challengers that keep doing all these challenges in a row it lowers tension because everyone is somewhat friendly with everyone. I think (and once again my opinion) if they play right they should do another BOTS 2012 where we get a large influx of young hot headed rookies to serve as a small reset to the show. Let the old heads come on every now and then (like Darrell) that can be fine but the main cast needs to be in their 20s. Period.
P.S. Can we also stop casting people like Jenny and Kaycee who bring the athletic side but no personality. I would rather watch a cast full of personalities like Devin, Marie, and Big T than boring competitors that are most likely going to make the final and take up a spot someone actually entertaining could have

I replied to this already and had forgotten but now I want to add that I'm glad this is his last season (not sure tho). This guy has become sooooooooo entitled and while him and Kam are a good couple they become super toxic to the game. Every single they did together because this huge powertrip alliance against small numbers and the worst is the attitude. I don't know why they (him and Kam) act like they are multi time champs when one of them has barely any finals under her belt and the other has lost multiple finals and did multiple bad game moves. Seriously I'm disappointed in Leroy the most because when you go back to Rivals 1 he had so much potential and now he gets mad when people go after him or his girl lol.

A show that has enormous potential, but has truly squandered it all with countless terrible decisions in casting, twists, themes, etc. How does one show get it wrong so often as they do? First off, this trilogy was the worst idea they have had yet. It gave them an excuse to basically use the same cast 3x in a row, sprinkle in some Big Brother and UK folks, and thats it. The core nucleus of this trilogy remained the same, which meant the same ******* storylines. You think we, the viewers truly give a **** about the Cara love triangle? Or Kayleigh being "bullied" or nataLIE being "outted?" You think we truly give a **** who tweeted at who? Game related drama time and time again has proven to be the best type of drama we have seen from this show, yet they decide to focus on people throwing pizza boxes on one another.
The redemption twists are garbage, and just a cheap way to extend the season. The purges are boring, it was nice the first time, but having it all the time defeats the purpose of it. If you get eliminated, your out, none of this 2-4 chances to re-enter the game type of shit. We all see through it, its just a sad pathetic way to make the season last four months. Listen, no fans want to watch this shit for 4 months. How is it that 10-12 episode seasons were able to show more gameplay with less episodes? Just goes to show how atrocious the editing has gotten too.

Now we bringing in all these other shows, and lets be real, none of them been adding to the viewership numbers lmao. Look at how many RW/RR/AYTO people havent been used on this show yet. The casting pool was huge, but theyd rather cast garbage like nataLIE and kyle repeatedly.
I think its safe to say that there isnt a fanbase thats truly excited for this show anymore. Casuals hated this season, the smarter fans didnt care for this season. The show has oversaturated its own niche market, with too many specials and seasons going on and too many episodes. They really need to go back to basics to save this show because NOBODY is happy with it. People want teams, they want Old School v New School, its really that ******* simple. But these morons gotta concoct some stupid *** twists that make no sense. This show is going to continue going downhill. and it deserves it.

Yeah. Like I see alot of people tuning out of this show and then people not liking some of the twists that they're doing now. Mainly the gold skull shit. Which I don't blame them.
Like to me this there's still part of me that's interested in this show but honestly it's really gotten into a not so great place. The cast seems miserable, too many useless people. This gold skull shit. CT taking Backpack's place as the prized **** that won't leave the damn show etc. It's just really sad. And when you think about it it could all be so good if they decided to do a few changes to the show. Casuals aren't going to leave.
