Any talks of them bringing this back? Feel like missed opportunity to rebrand it (yet again) throughout this pandemic and get people going through some real shit

agreed, and if they put it on MTV and not Facebook and got rid of all the gimmicks I feel like it could be really educational to watch
Nah the ship has sailed. The last couple seasons felt they were just doing it to find new people for the challenge and now that they are casting from any show its not needed anymore.
Does anyone know why ALL of the seasons aren't available on CBS All Access? I would really like to rewatch the older seasons I have never seen for the first time.
I am watching Vegas 1 again now and, man, I'm not feeling it. It checked all of the boxes on why I liked the first few seasons and started to hate the future ones. The casting was great but they obviously chose a group of stereotypical characters to put on a show so to speak. They all acted like a bunch of helpless, drunken teens. It was too moody and dark at times thanks to Arissa and Irulan and too annoying due to the hookups every 5 minutes. It was like watching two houses. The sketchy editing was obvious this season due to it being very random at times. You could tell that they were piecing clips together for drama. I was so over the hookups by the 3rd episode and it started to feel like watching college coeds. What a departure from the 3rd season. I mean, it's 10 years later but still! It's like they took the characters of Cory and Rachel and put them on steroids. So much to breakdown here but I don't have the time nor energy.
Also, I know Frank is now married to a woman but was he bi? In E17 when he and Trischelle were on the beach in Australia, he said he would be happy to marry a man or woman. I don't know if he ever spoke on that and if it was bad editing and he was talking about Triscehelle or what.
exactly the show was moving with the times and younger people were a lot more open and free after 9-11 so that plus sending them to Vegas to live with each other for however so months is inevitable.
I'd love to see a return of Real World but without the gimics - but I too think Road Rules would be better. I think it would give them action/adventure with missions and the drama/hookups with the RV. I mean they aren't airing much of anything on MTV outside of Ridulousness so taking a chance on a new season of Road Rules I think could work. I thought the was X-Treme was made was perfect having them replace cast members if they fail more than one mission. The concept would definatly work they would just need to execute it and promote it correctly.
BMP, MTV and different memorable real world seasons cast are having talks to be reunited including the first one. That's what Amaya from Real World Hawaii was tweeting about a few weeks ago:

Something with like a Below Deck (on Bravo) spin on it could potentially work depending on the cast. I think they'll definitely have to format the show completely different than what it was back in the day. People care more about the relationships within the cast and reoccurring social dynamics/drama than the missions and prizes.

People also get bored watching people live in a house and party. Plus, you can't have as healthy open discussions these days. So they need a show that will create drama based on circumstances.
Denver

I Just noticed in the Portland pic that is the main pic of this thread (Which i love!) Jessica and Joi are sharing a french fry lol I love it!

There was an opportunity to really get this somewhere these past 4 years. But they ****** up.
Im watching Philadelphia, great season, I totally forgot. I want to watch San Diego

They are talking about Real World on this new E show

I guess BGC is going to be talk on it too. Pretty confident this is the thing Judi was filming for E.
Talk about putting Justin Blu on the challenge

They were in Vegas lol...what do you expect?

Just finished Philadelphia. Its too bad we didn't get to see more of Sarah Burke after her RW season. Also she reminds me of Shailene Woodley.
I havne't watched that one since it aired, but I remember liking Sarah. I loved Melanie <3 I was sad we never saw her again
Ooooops ! ☕️
What's the TEA Pink?
They rebooting Real World on cable lmaooo?
Cause they can keep the subtitle Facebook version
I would love for MTV to bring it back but bring it back right, lord knows we could use something other than ridiculousness
I think Road Rules would be a bigger hit to bring back.
not a chance, a well casted non corny Real World will run circles around that. no one below the age of 36 wants to watch a Road Rules type of show
I do lol.

They should cast people from The Challenge on Road Rules for the first season and go from there?
