The Challenge: Double Agents (Spoiler free thread)

So can we ask what the format/etc is in this thread? Obviously we know it's some type of pairs. But is there a tribunal or can we know the format of how the game plays without knowing spoilers? Thanks in advance!!

It's called Double Agents but that name can change like it has change for the last 2 or 3 seasons.

- There is a house vote and the winners votes. The house vote this season is anonymous; however, the winner of the daily challenge can see where everyone places their vote.

- The players left without a partner after each elimination having odds numbers are called “rogue agents” and are ineligible to compete in the next elimination until they have a partner.

- After the first mission, the cast thought they would have a night to think about partners. TJ made them pick partners ASAP and told them to pick who they want. Partners will be cha ging as eliminations happenned and people start losing.

Thank you Ms Rose for not forgetting about us non spoiler people.

Format sounds amazing EXCEPT I hate female/male elimination days. ONE person going home every episode = an unnecessary amount of purges. Unless they give us a 25 episode season with 2 episodes a week I could dig that. And THANK GOD for no tribunal. Glad they switched it up big time this season.

Any word on the drama? Anything good happening? What are the living conditions like? Will they be as miserable as last year?

There is drama and they live in a cute house with a bar since they arent going out to bars and clubs over COVID they live in their own little bubble

Yes, thank you PR! I am curious to see how this all plays out... like what is stopping a constestant from throwing a mission on the opposite gender day in the hopes of getting rid of their partner? Sounds kinda crazy.

But does this sort of mean one *** (whichever has eliminations second) is basically always ineligible/safe because they lose a partner? Example: Nany & Kyle go into male elimination #1 and Kyle loses. Isn't Nany technically safe for the female elimination #1 because she is partnerless? She has to wait until a male gets his partner eliminated in female elimination #1 to get a new partner. And then this cycle repeats because Nany and her hypothetical new partner go into male elimination #2 and lets just say this new partner loses and Nany is partnerless and is again safe from female elimination #2.

Or am I misunderstanding? Thanks.

Thank you Pink for all your hard work! I am so grateful they are going back to a nice living arrangement last season was so depressing. I'm really excited for this season :)

This format actually sounds interesting - The person who wins can easily play mental games with everyone else lying about who voted for who.

as always thanks pink and gamer. Thanks for not forgetting about us non-spoiler people lol

i wonder how much impact that will have for a long run. If everyone just used the info to just lie then everyone will catch on. I'm sure it would be dope the first time though

One thing that has confused me about this format is the following:

The format appears to be doing female elimination first, then male elimination. Since the teams are opposite gender pairs, this means that the remaining male after the first female elimination is a rogue agent and is safe from the next male elimination. After the male elimination, the remaining female then gets teamed up with the remaining male rogue agent. Aside from abnormalities like DQs, purges, and other twists, this means that the males really only get to take advantage of bieng a rogue agent.

Is my understanding of the format correct?

Haha yeah, I asked the same thing just up the page a bit... it seems like you and I are under the same impression of how it works.

Go lio rush!!!

Is the red skull twist back?

Girl I replied to this but I don't want to get in trouble

Not super relevant - but are they wearing masks around the house or at challenges or anything? Also, for folks that view the spoiler thread (without spoiling anything) - about how far are we into the game? Nearing the end? Halfway? I dont know anymore as challenge seem to film for forever, haha.

i believe i read that they are in their own little bubble so they dont need to wear mask because of that. Id say we are at the half way point with 6 out from each gender.

The cast don't wear masks, the producers & crew do.

Why would they wear masks lol...smh

**** imagine then wearing masks around the house and in interviews.

No problem! Sounds pretty interesting, I have high hopes : )

Another thing I forgot to mention about the format

Based on what I have heard the eliminations winners can switch partners with whoever they want. They can steal someone else, stay with the one they have or get the rogue agent.

Any idea when this will air?

Filming is done

When do you think it will air?

I'm assuming this season will air in January
