Top Chef Duels starts tomorrow night.
There are nine episodes, so I am guessing Top Chef Boston will premiere Wednesday, October 15th.
Have people been enjoying Top Chef Duels? I enjoyed both episodes, especially seeing Brooke Williamson. She is definitely one of my favorite Top Chef contestants.
You can watch The Knockout competition here: The Knockout | Bravo TV Official Site
Chefs that lose the duel battle each other online for a chance to compete in the Top Chef finale.

I'm obsessed with Top Chef, but I'm finding the duels format kind of boring. Marcel doesn't win things and Shirley is an amazing chef. I love Brooke though. Next weeks episode shouldn't be too boring due to Antonia and Mike being hilarious.
I'm slowly making my way through all the seasons again on Hulu Plus. So glad they god rid of the first seasons host, she was awful.

I get that, I am enjoying seeing the contestants on TV again though. Marcel does decent on shows not related to Top Chef lol. Oh yeah it was hosted by Katie Lee, she's improved as a host. I met her a couple times, she sucked as a host season 1 though.

I do like seeing previous contestants, but there isn't really anything on the line and everything that makes Top Chef great is basically missing from the formula. It's like Masters with even less continuity. On that note, you can at least watch the chefs you want to see, skip the others and really not miss anything.
and TwoStrikes - my cousin was on Chopped... my little sweetie was a james Beard Award recipient and an Executive Chef at 24, he got shitty with one of the judges and got chopped before dessert
I've seen every episode of Top Chefand TwoStrikes - my cousin was on Chopped... my little sweetie was a james Beard Award recipient and an Executive Chef at 24, he got shitty with one of the judges and got chopped before dessert
Same. It has always been on my must-see list being I am a fan of reality tv and love to cook.
I never got into Chopped. It has single episode arcs and the food is not as elevated nor the chefs as well renowned. I'm sure it is a good show, just not really the same thing as Top Chef.
Who are you guys rooting for? There's so many I love but I would like to see Jenn or Eric pull out the win. Although I think I'd be happy for any of them.
I love like everyone lol but faves would be Kevin, Gregory, Angelo and Voltaggio. I met Angelo like three different times through work and he always remembered me and was super friendly.
I agree that it's a great cast and I'd be happy for any of them. That said, I have to pull for Jen first, then probably Bryan.
The level of food this year is going to be amazing with the caliber of chefs that we're getting.
I'm counting down the days. This really has become one of my favorite reality shows and it's aged really well.

That's really cool! He seems like a nice guy.
YES! I can't believe it's been 16 seasons. That is crazy to me. I'm also glad it's in LA this year because there's so much they could dive in to. I can't wait to see what challenges they come up with or bring back!
Yeah even Lisa who I don’t like, it’s nice to see a mature older version of her.
YES! I've been thinking of everyone as they show them. It's definitely giving off great first episode vibes. We know I'm Team Jenn Carroll, but I'm actually here for basically all the cast, and yes even Lisa!

FIrst season in quite some time where I like all of the finalists.
Probably the only person still watching this show.
Chopped > Top Chef
You must live in a legal state.

Anyone else mega excited for this? So many great chefs on this one. Here's a cast list.
Here is where I found the cast and it's a good read: https://parade.com/972041/mikebloom/top-chef-season-17/
Dying for it, been watching older seasons on Hulu to get ready lol.
Can't wait!

Rooting for Eric,Voltaggio,Kevin,and Angelo

Trailer is out! It looks even better than I imagined.

It's been 15 minutes and I'm all for this. The cast is spectacular and the flashbacks are reminding me of who some of the chefs are.
Loving it so muchhhh.
I am so glad I'm not the only one watching. I like a majority of the people. They chose all the good ones.

Really is, just hope my super favorites don’t lose. Be great for Jenn to have a good season again after her last two ventures.
