As annoying as she became this season i have to admit i do think she is great t.v and im sad shes gone. The fact she is openly against Cara and Paulie and isnt scared to go against them and their puppets is a plus too.

She was only willing to go against Cara & Paulie this season because she picked the wrong alliance. She had no issues with the majority when it protected her during her first season. She loved her some Cara then.
She has the complete package which is rare to find: competitor, narrator, storylines, hookups, etc. Plus I love how emotional she got on the eliminations rooting for her friends <3. Hope she comes back for another season.
So she finally apologized publicly in detail about the blackface situation, then proceeded to like comments from white people saying either A)She shouldn’t of have to apologize and/or B)She didnt do anything wrong. TUHHHH GIRL
So her ******* thought it was cute after apologizing for doing blackface to go and like all the tweets from white people that told her she did nothing wrong? Phony ***
Im sick of her excuse that its not an issue in the UK. It is, Theres been numerous articles written in the UK about it, and she's too ignorant to actually do her research, let alone form a genuine apology. The privilege is so real
Tf does she think Shakesphere and all them writers in Europe used to do in their plays with black people. It was more prominent in the US theater sure, but "Not an issue in the UK" my ***. Open a **** history book ***** I swear this is hundreds of years of racist behavior :/
True same with men dressing as women in theatre. I'm not condoning her behaviour, but I'm not condemning it either. Its a small issue in the grand scheme of things and racism, why get your knickers in a twist over the small things. She wasnt intentionally racist just ignorant. The over reactive offense some people have is a bigger issue and cause of anger and hatred than the initial act. But everyone wants to be angry and offended. Racism is an appalling issue, this is not quite it, just something for people to jump on and spread anger.

Intent is important here, and it's clear from her explanation on the podcast that there was no malicious intent with what she did. Some 7 year olds wanted to paint her face black at a party and she agreed not knowing that it was offensive. It literally could have been any color, there's other pictures from the same party where kids have their faces red. I'm not saying that painting your face black isn't racist, but when you don't know it's offensive and weren't doing it in a way to mock anyone, to me it's forgivable. I don't think it's fair that she recieved so much backlash for this especially when the person who leaked it and created the mob against her (Paulie) did have malicious intent, doing it a time where she couldn't defend herself when the explanation was so simple.

Just curious, are you black yourself?
No so I fully accept there are things I will never understand. But this really is being taken out of context, no malicious intent from what I could tell.
Nah non black people don't get to tell black people how to feel about black face ****
If you read her explanation for what happened and still think she had any sort of malicious intent then I can't change your opinion. This just seems like such a trivial thing to continue to hold over the head of young women who was 19 at the time and has shown no signs of having any sort of racial prejudice.

Not even for an open minded and educating discussion? That's very arrogant and doesnt help with segregation or separation at all and just fuels further problems.

And there is a big difference. Like when Emily put Nutella on her face to imitate Ty that was very clearly with malicious intent and she deserves all the backlash she got. This isn't even in the same stratosphere of what Georgia did. Eventually people did forgive Emily when she explained that she was uneducated because of where she grew up.

I agree with this. I don't think she meant anything malicious by it and the kids could have easily chosen a different color and this wouldn't have even been a discussion. Everyone has a right to their opinion though so if this still upsets people I understand it.
I really dont think she feels like she did anything wrong. Also dont think she cares to learn why people are offended by it. She cares that she got some hate so she had her publicist write something up for her. Public apologizes rarely seem sincere to me

And this is why people's feet will not come off of her neck. She's uneducated and ignorant af who only apologized in hoping it'll make her look good to the public. Not that she really means it. She might as well just stayed where she came from and kept quiet about it

To be fair weren't a ton of people attacking her because she didn't apoligize publicly?

Yes in hoping she truly does care how much she offended and be sincere by doing so. Backtracking by liking people's tweets that contradicts it was so not expected

The best by a mile from UK squad.
They did her so dirty smh.

I'm annoyed that she backtracked right after putting out a apology type of tweet
Lord where do MTV find these people
