My excitement for this reboot has honestly dwindled. The antics surrounding casting leads me to believe that this will be another basic season with the same casting forumula as the last couple of seasons.

Jenna from BGC 14 was at the casting as well.

Jay from Real World: Ex-plosion, Jenna from BGC14, and Francesca from BGC17...

Okay yeah this is attracting too many flops. MTV/BMP don't **** this up!

YIKES and BIGGER YIKES.

Kareem isn't bad, but still lol.

The signs are there I think we need to face the truth. Sad

Anyone actually good go to these?

Honestly one or maybe two people will actually make the cast from the casting call. The rest will likely be scouted from social media or have some type or relationship with a past cast member.

We gotta see what the final casts are looking like first then we can go from there lmaooooo

NYC auditions were a mess this year. People thinking they were more than important, people who fell for the "scheduled appointments" and tried to skip the line were laughable. It was a HOT sauna atmosphere, no organization, black Friday vibes. What can you expect when you've got a room full of people who think they're the shit.

Kareem was there from AYTO. Francesca was there from BGC17, i heard Jenna from BGC14 even showed up. Didn't see Jay from Ex-Plosion but clearly, he was there. I heard Maleni was there (from the funny Instagram couple Chicklet & Maleni).

A few people from web series & youtube personalities were there like Jose Ayala, etc.

People were networking and talking a lot more than previous years. And casting directors were going crazy for this one girl who submitted online & they were trying to find her in the crowds...think they actually found her when i was leaving. PM me for her name Wink

If they can get me some Tre Melvin, I'll watch for sure.

No thanks. Smile

Can’t believe some of you got excited for this and being let down again for the thousandth time.

Go with low expectations

Why nott ;/

I don't find him funny but BMP would basically throw him in the funny/corny black guy role.

We had a valid reason this time with the show being rebooted and promoted as going back to its roots.

Sorry but nah. BMP hasn't changed, they gonna continue casting the same way as they did before.

Higher expectations just mean you'll be disappointed. Production has zero credibility, why believe them?

Low expectations is the way to go. That way you'll be delighted and surprised if they don't **** up.

Well the blame was always tossed between BMP and MTV because it was always said that it was MTV who made the final decision on casting and was the reason for some of the recent terrible choices. I assumed with the show moving to Facebook and the whole reboot announcement it would be different but casting tells me to expect the same crap. I would't say my expectations were really high though to be honest I mean I'm grown now in college and have a career so if I don't like what I see I just won't pull it up on Facebook. If anything I'm just disappointed that it seems they still haven't learned their lesson and are so out of touch with what people truly want to see.

Please tell me the whispers about Frankie Grande being on this are not true.

its a shame but it's the reality of what this franchise has become.

I won't reveal the name charlesncharge_ told me but it sounds like they're looking for another fiery latina...

This is going to be tragic. Keep it. & the casting directions can’t take constructive criticism so byeee

lol people were telling off casting directors in the building today...not sure if it will ever sink in. The process, the wait, the poor judgement of character in most cases. There were plenty of gorgeous people at casting though. Hopefully, we see a quality cast next year.

I have a feeling Logan Paul is gonna be on this.

you think this will get a season 2?

Its got one and done written all over it.

When I was there they were looking for someone with the last name Ramos.  Can’t recall her first name...

This look like it’s gonna be rejects from AYTO/BGC & all their other shows. They might add one regular person to balance it out but with MTV’s name attached to it I don’t have that much hope. ✌️

What is everyone actually looking for in the perfect season? I'm resrea curious I know there was some minor discussion earlier on in the thread but what does a successful cast look like to you all.. I really respect y'alls thoughts because y'all have been there alot of you since the beginning.

I ended up going to the casting today... It was intense to say the least..
