Again, a DUI isn't really a big deal in the US. See the punishments. People make bad decisions and hopefully she learned her lesson from it. Thankfully no one was hurt. I've never gotten a DUI but I've definitely driven when I shouldn't have...I think most rational people can acknowledge that.
