I just binged RW Philly and I didn't like how Karamo treated Shavonda on that season. He tried to insinuate that she wasn't black enough because she was dating Landon, and that she wasn't automatically friends with Karamo.
I agree, Karamo grew up a lot tho. The person he is today is night and day to who he was on MTV
I would NEVER have expected him to be as famous as he is now from queer eye

yeah that was crazy, who would have thought Karamo would be one of the biggest MTV success stories

What did Karamo do before Queer Eye, after Real World/The Challenges?

Thanks PR. I totally forgot Wikipedia was useful for research on filmography, rather than just checking up on who got eliminated on last episode's of Survivor.

Imma need you to drop that link or create a link lmao I haven't seen that season since the finale back in '04.
Oh the dude who could Leroy “Coonroy” is casually going to post in here...
How you perceived my usage of the word is not how I was using it. The same context I've heard it all my life is about a "sell-out" which is how I used to describe it. Everyone who understands what I meant got it. And, I've seen you make some weird comments on here so for you of all people to try and condemn me is laughable to say the very least. But not to derail anything on this thread so moving on.

This brings me back to when I was younger and my family memebers told me not to say the n-word or anything similar around non-black folks because something like this always happens.
Not even a Leroy fan but i gotta agree with DAF. I get that some of you are frustrated with the way he acts but calling him a c*** really is crossing the line over very little. I personally dont like how loyal he is to Bananas either but he explains in his challengemania episode pretty well that 1) The appearance cheques are more than enough money for him, 2) As long as Bananas is in the game, he is very unlikely to be targeted by others and gets to skate and 3) He goes on there to have fun/doesnt really care about winning. I too hate when people dont play to win but at the end of the day it doesnt make him deserving of such an insult.

Quote any racist comment I have ever made.
I never said racist comments I said weird meaning they made me side eye you. And, you know damn well I'm not digging through a bunch of comments to find the exact thing I was referring to. If the situation was reversed you wouldn't do the same.
Trying to push this narrative that I'm this Camila-esque racist is extremely annoying when I used the term in the same context it's been presented to me my entire Black life by other Black people. If you felt the term wasn't justified or, I shouldn't have said it because other people could see it in a different light that's fair. I'm not saying it again because of that reason alone. That being said you will not continuously come at my neck because I surely wasn't the only one to use it after the fact in reference to Leroy or simply in general.
I'm also confused as to why this is mattering more to people who don't share Leroy's complexion than the ones that do. **** is synonymous with Uncle Tom & Stepin Fetchit; all 3 of which I've used to describe Leroy without an issue until now......

I agree. Growth is such a wonderful thing!
I would have loved to see more of Shavonda on the challenge to be honest.

He was TERRIBLE on The Next 15. Queen Tiffany had him pressed all season long.
Thanks PR. I totally forgot Wikipedia was useful for research on filmography, rather than just checking up on who got eliminated on last episode's of Survivor.
Between him, New York, Claudia & Gloria Govan; The Next 15 was a hot mess lmaoooooooo
oh I do remember a viral clip from that show, when Tiffany had to get that light skinned lady together
Imma need you to drop that link or create a link lmao I haven't seen that season since the finale back in '04.
Tiffany: She’s not even Black
light skinned lady: My Dad and children are
Tiffany: i don’t care
when I tell you I screamed
It was Laura not Gloria but yes i agree lol
“If you are black and standing in it, stand in it in all shades” - Queen Tiffany Pollard
Woo write in on my tombstone chile because that was a WORD!
Oh yeah Gloria is Matt Barnes crazy ex lmao
"Because I'm LETTING HIM KNOWWWWW!"

The need to bring that show back. That show slapped and they were ALL intimidated by Tiffany because she was the star.

Yeah let’s not call Leroy that.

I didn't know the word **** was so offensive to people.
