Y'all stay trying to give these people passes for "joking" with people they don't know.

1. This isn't about you.

2. No adult has the right to tell another adult to "behave".

3. If Leroy raised his voiced and told her her to shut the **** up he would ahve been dragged to hell by the same people praising him now. It shouldn't be a expection on any black/poc to respond calm in a racial attack.

4. I'm not saying he's joining the KKK but that comment was full of racial bias. He may not be aware of it but with that statement he is perpetuating harmful narratives that will only **** over us who are black/poc. Microagressions are still harmful asf to us.

Truth! I could never be on this show because of the ******* pranks! If you throw my luggage, put chips in my bed, or throw shit at me? Nope, I would not handle that well. I don't like people touching me or my things. That's what I loved about Leroys first season he was not about the pranks.

Agreed. I paid too much for my stuff and so help me god if someone taken or ruins it. They best be giving me reinbursment for it.

And its always "not a big deal".

and were always the problematic ones when we call them out on their bullshit.

lol-you guys are honestly being ridiculous

lol-you guys are honestly being ridiculous

And you do not live this experience nor have any position to speak on it in the first place. Whether it is "ridiculous" or not (it surely isn't), who in the hell made you the spokesperson of what can be deemed "offensive" for AA folks and what isn't?

Y'all done showed tf out today & I told y'all not to come in this positive thread with that bullshit smmfh

KVM once again spending his days policing black folk, telling us what we’re doing wrong, putting air freshener on micro aggressive comments. Jumping through hoops dolling it up coddling these people.

its a sport for him and the best thing WE (rubs the outside of my hand so y’all know the WE I’m talking about) should do is ignore him and at least in our thread not entertain it.

You have no idea what you're not talking about regarding who I am or my life clearly.   A positive thread doesn't mean one side conversation...read the irst post in this thread

lol "our thread"...do you really don't comprehend what the problem is here?

Survivor episode tomorrow, really enjoying this season. Wendell has taken a liking to Davie and I’m so excited for that friendship because Davie is doing very well. Rooting for him to succeed and at least keep his idol till merge

TuesDaze=Hotboiswag

But I'm hoping we get lots of Natalie airtime, I love her boss ***** attitude with zero cares.

Yeah, the problem is that you think your opinion on this subjects is relevant. You Devils advacte people kill me. A handful of black/poc just told you how the message was recieved and why it was so bad, even explaining the history of that kind of statment and why it was shitty.  Just say you don't believe or care about our reality and concerns and go!

This thread is here to celebrate the melanin that has graced our screens over the years not ruin it with toxic opinions. If it’s so ridiculous then you have hundreds of threads to attend were that behavior is allowed and probably respected.

I think this thread has a great point, but shouldn't it be about fair and equal representation of all races, (except white, I'm in no way denying white privilege!) It just doesn't sit right being about one, surely exclusion is against the point!? And especially as there is next to NO representation of any other race!! That is the biggest and most shocking problem.

Idk why ya'll even acknowledging him still. Once he pretty much said DUI's arent a big deal and that Nia's actions were more serious than Britni's *** driving around and putting lives in danger, I realized its no point of even having a conversation with someone like that.

It is clear though that some people did try to come in here though just to say some shit and try to get on folks nerves. I peeped.

your heart is in the right place, obviously yes we would love more representation for any and all minority groups, however a portion of us on this site are black and therefore wanted a space to talk about black things. Not once in the original post or anywhere in here has it been said that other minority groups shouldn’t be represented. Again we can empathize but as a minority group speaking and having discourse amongst yourselves exclusively isn’t a bad thing.

That's his usual M.O; don't know how I wasn't paying attention lmao

 Like vampires, every single time.

The fact is if you actually want to have a discussion it cant be one sided. What purpose does it serve? If your only goal is to make things worse keep that approach

I still love the assumptions being made smh

Has any one seen the First Purge? I watched it finally last night. I haven’t seen any of the other ones but that one was very interesting concept wise for me. Acting at parts was meh but I heard that’s par for the course with the Purge Franchise

I am curious, how did y'all think about how Ty handled the black face situation with Emily? And given Emily's pass, do you think you, yourself, would've forgiven her?

For the record, I'm not black, but I love any thread that fosters conversation of misrepresentation or lack there of, of other races/ethnicities.
As a Latino, I know I have experience a lot of family members saying some micro-aggressive comments in regarding to black culture, and I feel the need to learn what's acceptable and not, to start correct their and my habits as well.

in other news, I wish we saw more of Shavonda, Janelle, Brianna, & Brittni,

Just think you need to realize that people have a right to feel a certain way about things regarding something you probably never experienced yourself. Let anyone feel how they feel about a situation and stop trying to rationalize or convince anyone otherwise.

Agreed. Especially Brittini & Janelle. I think both could have been great for the show. I'd add Irulan, Arissa, Christena, Chanda & Roni to that list as well. Hell, even Angel should have been given a second chance.
