Lol... why are you in this thread then?
Because it's a discussion...read the very first post. I dont think you even understand what I'm saying based on your childish replies
I assumed you weren't black based on your comment. That's why I asked. And i understand what you're saying, it's not that difficult.Anyways, in some cases you need "requirements", requirements and quotas help marginalized groups in a lot of cases, at least in the beginning. If mtv/bmp didn't think "ok we need to make sure we cast at least one gay person and two black people this season" or w/e their number is, the would probably only cast/hire straight white people like many other shows and companies do. So to me, the problem isn't having requirements, the problem is that mtv/bmp need to up theirs, and they need to include asian and brown people in them.
What does being black have to do with anything?
And, no, set numbers for any race are a problem...cast the best people for the show
It would be great if they had an Asian guy...we haven't had one since Yes I believe but you dont cast someone just because of race, sexual orientation, etc unless they're a good fit
The Challenge early on didn't have quotas and we saw a lot more diversity. Watch The Gauntlet or The Inferno

Yeah but how do they go about that? Should we do it based on population % or what? That just seems weird to me. Like Vendettas had 7/28 AA castmembers, so 25%, which is nearly double their US demographic. That's fine to me. Like KVM said, they should just cast the best people regardless of race or sexual orientation or whatever.
The problem with who they cast is what Graphik was kind of saying the other day. They feel "safe". Like Leroy for example, kind of just blends in, hooks up, doesn't get angry, etc. It feel like they only cast from certain "types" of AA, which is where I have a problem.
I feel like Asians are the victims of not being cast at all however, which really needs to change.

I think Davonne was a really great example of a strong AA woman. And I know a lot of people don't like Leroy, but I do. I thought how he handled Camilla was all class! It spoke louder to me than someone screaming. I think Kam is a really great respresentation of a different type of strong AA woman.
Still hope CeeJai does a couple seasons. She is heading to Boston for a reunion with some of the cast mates. Would love to hear about it.

Whaaaaaaatttt?!? Best season in years
I can't after 19--I gave up
Took you that long to bail?
It did--I kept hoping it would get better. Between Paul and Josh I just couldn't handle it any more. I think it would take a true All-Star season with Dani Reyes to bring me back at this point.
Sadly the women have historically not been as united as they should be.
yeah I wish there was more unity there I don’t think I’ve ever seen the black men on this show fight eachother or generally not get along other than Ty and Brandon, but that was more funny to watch if anything
Aneesa still let them have her expaining herself as if she’s three so she better take that into account when she return that none of these people are her friends and they’ll turn on you first because you don’t look like them. ☕️

OK?! Like please keep this same vibe b/c you stay letting them get you caught up.
It also would've been nice if The Queen would've had this same solidarity & reaching out when she was on......

So can anybody who has been watching ATYO tell me if it’s worth the watch? I thought the cast looked interesting but idk dating shows just aren’t my move

It’s been messy and typical AYTO, they’re definitely some stars in the cast but I can definitely see why people may not like the rest.

I think they need to spice up that show, not much more you can do with that format

i cant help but cringe every time i watch ayto one after finding out some castmembers avoid std testing when they're on a literal **** reality series
Speaking of which, idk if this has been posted on here, but michaela attended the survivor season 37 premiere party with wendell, tasha, brice and sherea.

yeah it just seems sloppy and tired at this point. How is it even allowed for these fools to deny testing
