Generic Question for the Generic Thread.....what does 'Stan' mean? I see people posting that about their favs..... so Let's just pretend I'm asking for a friend and I'm not an idiot lol....
A stan is when someone is your fave and you support them ("stan them") through thick and thin. If someone is coming after your faves you come with pitchforks and your fists
So I finally understand the Johnny/Cara friendship that has become of recent. She explained it as pretty much how Johnny/CT are. They are vets so they have to band together and respect each other as competitors but he will never be her number one bc she knows that he could still backstab her. I still don't agree with her forgiving him for Bloodlines but that's on her

Why? Cara told Johnny's girlfriend off the show that Johnny cheated. Said Johnny took Camila's virginity.

In defense of Cara, she said it in an after-show chat with others, and did not tell Bananas' girlfriend directly, nor did she know it was some giant secret.

whereas Johnny purposefully filmed her and Thomas and then told Abram who is legitimately a psychopath which endangered Tom's life. And if anything, Camila should be more ****** than Johnny. Nice for them to bury that hatchet but two wrongs definitely don't make a right and Lord knows I would never be friends with someone like him.

So how does everyone like Vendettas so far? I personally love it. Better than the last two seasons IMO. Great cast of Rookies and we got to see some different gameplay. Only thing is the format has it's charms but it's messy as **** and alot could've been done to make it better.

I agree. This is one of my favorite formats (troika, inquisition, grenades). If they made a few tweaks to it like allowing girls more power it would be top notch. Also had a good crop of rookies and put some newer people in the regular spot like Marie, Kailah, Devin, Natalie etc.
yeah my only real complaint is that it's turned into the guys running everything. These women need to be more aggresive and not let that happen. This past episode where the girls just sat back and let three guys decide their fate when they could have asked Devin to vote them all into the troika would have made much more sense. Legends like Coral, Veronica (if she wasn't voted off already), Rachel, Tina, Beth, etc never would have stood for that.

It's been my favorite in years for sure. The Brits brought a lot (Joss and Melissa especially <3) and the rookies overall were good additions.
Some tweaks:
-Think the top male and top female performer should be in the Troika automatically. If it's a girls' day, then the 2nd best girl is in the troika, and guys', the second best guy. If it's a team... I'd like there to be some sort of vote so it's more official than for people to just throw out names and people going along with it.
-Needs some clearer rules. I get Joss v. Derrick was brutal, but I stand by the fact that if the rules weren't changed to sudden death, Joss would still have won that even with his lapse in judgment. Nelson getting a free pass after they made Joss suffer, not giving Britni the same option, etc. is pretty bullshit too. This is the Challenge. They had CM and Nia go until their bodies were literally about to shut down. Also having a girls' elimination day last episode was weird considering there was 1 more guy than girl, but w/e.
But, on the flip side, I've liked the Inquisition. Drama that focuses on the gameplay is great imo. I've liked the moves being made (Tony, Kailah, Zach, Kyle, Natalie, Kam, etc have had a great season in terms of making moves). Joss vs. Derrick was one of the best eliminations ever, and Melissa vs. Sylvia was epic too. Most of the challenges and eliminations have been exciting and athletic instead of just luck in carnival games. The edit also is better than the mess that was Dirty 30, but I still wish they would do episodes like: challenge, drama, vote, inquisition, elimination, aftermath.
This season was average at best. I refuse to call a season great when we’ve had Inferno’s, Gauntlets & Battle of The Sexes type seasons. It’s one of the better recent one but still not that good. It’s been almost anti-climatic. Devin beating bananas has really been the only interesting thing this season.
A season that could've been top-notch ruined by trash editing. Floplicia's lying *** put a dent in the early stages too with the Eddie situation.
i don't **** with it either even when I'm trying. I cannot take it after that stupid Notetorious John bullshit. What a waste of a storyline which could have gone to something more useful. Yes, that alone ruined the entire Vendettas for me as much as people say this season has been good.
Exes 2 still holds the crown >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>I honestly think that season won't be topped for a very long time, if ever. This show can't keep momentum going for shit.
Seasons 2 and Exes 2 are on their own tier. I actually think Free Agents was underrated.
Exes 2 is highly overrated IMO...people act as though it was in the same league as the old school challenges and it honestly wasn't even close. Seasons 2 was the worst in terms of competition since The Island. Seasons 2 had a great format and it was nice to get a break from John but when Dustin and Chet are two of the best guys it's an absolute joke.

What challenge from the modern era do you actually like because those 2 seasons were God-Tier. Refreshing all around, great cast, non recycled drama, and strong gameplay.

First off, saying Seasons had strong gameplay is laughable.
Define "modern era". Fresh Meat II actually had great game play. I enjoyed Cutthroat. Rivals was decent but they needed to cast the guys side better. Exes was subpar. Seasons, again, had the worst competition since The Island which ruins it for me. And while the cast was "fresh" it was also very poorly cast. Rivals 2 IMO is completely forgettable. Free Agents was pretty good. The cast could have been better but the only real mistake was separating the losers into two group. Anyone that didn't win should have been eligible to be nominated and been in the draw. Exes 2 had about 6 horrible teams (Jay/Jenna, Dustin/Jess, Thomas/Hailey, the AYTO teams, Knight/Jemmye) along with one of the better teams had to drop out (CT & Diem) which essentially gave us a season of 6 teams. 4 which aren't really exes IMO (John/Nany, Wes/Theresa, Leroy/Nia, Sarah/Jordan) and then 2 teams that were impossible to watch because of the way Zach & Johnny treated Jonna & Averey. Sarah pretty much saved that season at the end. I love Theresa but I don't buy the Ms. Fail to Ms Success thing. Theresa was always good. Bloodlines was horrific in terms of format. They basically screwed co-ed teams and encouraged people to throw missions. Rivals III is one that I haven't watched and never will--we all knew who would win before it started.
Invasion was designed to get weak competitors to the end while the strong had to go against each other. It was a joke. XXX wasn't bad other than the twists and I thought the final was weak. Vendettas is sloppy. This whole, the winning team picks the troika but can still vote in people from the winning team, is just illogical.
There haven't been made good seasons recently but Seasons and Exes 2 will always be overrated here IMO because the competition simply wasn't there. ****, Nia & Leroy were one of the best teams on Exes and they were pathetic on missions. They should have just skipped them

Go to sleep grandpa. That's straight up BS. It aint overrated.
Everything from Invasion until now has basically been a sad attempt at trying to reinvent the show. I guess they got so much bad press from Rivals III that they basically tried to start fresh and fell straight on their face.
This season has been at best okay but they need to start trying to show the actual real things that happens instead of building false narratives. The Eddie situation could’ve been handled more efficiently, them just editing him out doesn’t solve the issue no matter what actually went down. I’m surprised that the casuals didn’t have a field day with that situation. As well as the pacing, which is horrible to the point it’s confusing for a viewer to keep up. Then Bananas saying that team challenges are confusing but they think throwing 30 twist all at once is not.
They insulted EVERYBODY'S intelligence with the Eddie situation. Oh so we just all collectively imagined that one dude who was shown on the first ep & had his own promo with Kam/Alicia?
Like what kind of unprofessional, tacky shit was that? Then to find out that he actually may have been innocent the whole time yet he'll likely never get a chance on the show again......

He's the biggest cokehead of them all & I'm sure poor Mary-Ellis Bunim is turning over in her grave. I truly do not think this is what she had in mind for her MTV shows.
Completely out of touch with the newer generation (and of course our generation that has now become adults) & quite simply has no clue of what the **** he's doing.
Thanks

I was think about Jemmye and Knight and remember many years ago Jem find out on Twitter Knight was sexting with girl he met online.
