That season had a ton though. So did BOTS to an extent. Most seasons usually have 2-4 people that don't bring anything and are questionable as to why they were even chosen. Cutthroat they could have made a whole team with the fillers.

They were trying to give us "new people" which everyone constantly asks for. They had to determine which FM2 people that wanted to have continue with the franchise so they ran with 7. Only Luke didn't add anything but he did make a final. Mandi at least had the Chet storyline. Brandon, Cara & Laurel had major stories. Theresa and Vinny were relevant to some degree. I think everyone on the blue team was relevant aside from Derek/Emilee. Dan Walsh and JD were relatively quiet. Shauvon made her 2-3 episodes count (fought with Laurel, quit, picked the teams, etc). Ayiiia hooked up with Melinda so she at least gave us that lol. The red team was annoying but they all pretty much added to the show. I don't think it was as bad as you're making it out to be.

They should have used Jonna or Brittni instead of Camila on Cutthroat. That definitely would have helped the show long term. I would have said Briana or Kimberly but I think Briana was barred from leaving the US at that time and Kimberly had definitely quit. Aneesa would have even been a solid addition. Actually, Aneesa on that season might have drastically changed future seasons

I didn't dislike Cutthroat so to speak, but I **** sure wasn't watching it like that lol. During the time Cutthroat was airing was when I Love Money 4 rose from the grave & that was getting ALL of my attention. Plus at the time I was fed up with The Challenge in general (skipped out on most of FM2 & was highly annoyed by The Ruins) & as we all know, ILM was simply the better show.

Brittini sadly didn't want to do anymore shows after Duel 2; I'm guessing she simply didn't want to be known as a "reality TV girl" because she's said she enjoyed Duel 2.

Cutthroat was a decent season but I agree it still could have been better cast. Take Camila/Vinny/Easy/Luke and some other pointless cast members from that season and replace them with Ashley L, KellyAnne, Hollywood people and it would have been so much better.

Do you guys have anyone you are shocked was never used for The Challenge or stopped getting called by production? I'm shocked Violetta has never been cast when I assumed she was production's new version of Svetlana. Then there is Averey who was being groomed to be the next IT girl after Nany and then they just seemed like they quit caring about her. I don't like Dylan snd Dione but I was also sure they were cast just to be on The Challenge but that never happened either.
Then you have people like CeeJai and Dean who come from athletic backgrounds but I knew they wasn't going to call. ☕
You have to admit Dean was wack on his RW season. Not surprised he wasn't called. I honestly think they just don't **** with GBOGH except for Kailah who was the "hot" girl of the season.

I disliked Dean but I was sure they would try to replace Leroy at some point and Dean seemed to fit the description so I was shocked they didn't use him.
One that always shocked me that never got on a challenge was Patrick from Road Rules X-Treme...Although he probably doesn't fit the question given he never came on due to his own accord but he was one of the MAIN ones from that season I was expecting on a challenge.
Mary-Beth was one I was surprised about too.
