No. You just don't want to admit the truth about your little favorite. By the time Backpack was partnered with those three they were all proved to be good competitors. You're BS'ing and you know it.
Darrell/Johnny is apples and oranges IMO. Darrell is a better athlete, probably better at finals, obviously has a better win percentage, and is in general a more likeable human being. There's also merit to the point that on those big team challenges it's easier for a shit competitor to skate through and weigh your team down so the "it was easier back then" thing is kind of iffy. Johnny's had a really good partner resume with his worst people being middle of the pack competitors.
At the same time Darrell's never had to play the game the way Johnny has. Johnny's been public enemy #1 on almost every challenge he's done since the Island. He's had a lot of good competitors specifically target him and try to get him sent home (CT, Wes, Abe, Zach, Jordan, Brad). The one time that happened to Darrell, he went home first. It wasn't his fault, but it happened. He's never dominated a season and been the clear best dude the way Johnny has a few times, and he's also never run a final in the modern era. Not to say he CAN'T do any of these things, and he might do all of them this season, he just hasn't yet. I think Darrell is all around the better athlete...but Johnny is all around better at the entire game...but that also comes from doing more than twice as many as Darrell has. I'd be pretty happy if either of them (or CT or Shane) won. I'd actually probably prefer CT or Darrell to win this one after Johnny's ******* last season. It's also better for the longevity of the show if he doesn't win all the time. Predictable isn't entertaining.

Sydney and Sandy beat her on paper during the trials. Katelynn we barely even saw compete and she never ran an Exile, so she's kind of irrelevant.

Darrell in all of his challenges has never really impressed me much. I know he's really good but I've never been like "wow he's a beast" like some other people have. Also some of his wins were relatively easy seeing how he won alongside Katie and Sarah who were pretty bad. A win is a win but just not much to brag about.
After Bananas got eliminated on Bloodlines how long did it take us to confirm it? If he got eliminated this time I can see him, and production go out of their way to hide it for as long as they can unlike the other cast memebers.
