I think Laurel said it herself that she doesn't train as much and as hard as she used to, her real life job doesn't let her. Meanwhile people like Cara Maria, Camilla, Nicole Z (or Emily and Rachel R) do that all day every day it seems. These girls definitely are able to surprise and win against Laurel.
YES! I love when I get busy at work and then go to lunch and then come back to more info! Pumped for CT and Laurel! Those are ELITE competitors! This season seriously had a great cast. I wish the rumors of certain names (Derrick, Kendal, Tina) would have panned, but this cast is pretty close to perfect for those willing to participate. Shane making the return after the longest time in Challenge history is still my highlight, as well as the return and debuts (although a few quick exits) of Bruno, Sylvia, Darrell & Marie!

besides those posts a few pages back that already answered your question, I meant that a few (some) aka Bruno and Marie had been eliminated early on this challenge but that I was excited for those people to either return or debut.
