It's October and you know what that means??? 31 Days of Halloween!!! Let the movie marathon commence haha I always try to watch a movie everyday (and usually fail lmao if anything i do the 13 days (19-31), but this year i'm going to try my best to stick to it!!Tonight's horror movie: Suspiria!!! I've actually never seen it and I have always meant to... just the concept itself sounded amazing. I just finished watching it and I have to say that that was a fantastic film!!! the sets were amazing, the music was creepy and perfect, and the story was great. Even the kills were shocking (that opening one and the barbed wire? one were my favourites). The movie had so much atmosphere! The ending happened all so fast, but I didn't mind it... I think it would've been better with a different ending (maybe an ending a little more open ended), but it was still greatI'll take any and all recommendations (I'm thinking "Poltergeist" tomorrow - obviously the original)

Mitch  have u see Graduation  Day?

nope!! any good? its only got 50% on RT

also currently watching The Ring!! Haven't seen this movie in ages and it still holds up... creepy AS ****. (so not looking forward to the 3rd movie in a few weeks)

It was hit or miss my favorite  is the track n field  death unto the bed of nails  i.e. Freddy's dead. It was from 1981 though.

Ring 3 looks tragic. Like Deepwater  horizon  tragic sausage party is looking better than it

The Magnifiecient 7 was amazing. **** a Sully.

Also, Ghost in the Shell, Saban's Power Rangers and a live action Bleach is in the works or coming out oin early 2017 respectively. So excited. Death Note 3 should be good 2

so far my horror movie marathon is completely unexpected.. i'm picking random movies each day (usually ones i've never seen or haven't seen in a long time)

Oct 1 - Suspiria & The Ring

Oct 2 - The Others

Oct 3 - Lights Out & The Sixth Sense - when horror movies can make you cry... damn haha love this movie

netflix's horror game is terrible... ugh

AMC fear fest >

Can't come soon enough

just watched Lights Out (FINALLY aha)... it was decent. pretty scary watch alone with the lights out and headphones in hahaha i found the plot had a million plot holes and i didn't really like the ending all that much.. that was a little too dark (no pun intended lol). good for a one time watch though! jumpscares abound haha

AMC fear fest >Can't come soon enough

the best!!!!! pretty sure i watched Halloween four different times within the span of one week last year hahaha

New York Comic Con has released the Zords:http://r.search.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0LEVi1tHuNXEakAhf4PxQt.;_ylu=X3oDMTByMjB0aG5zBGNvbG8DYmYxBHBvcwMxBHZ0aWQDBHNlYwNzYw--/RV=2/RE=1474531053/RO=10/RU=http%3a%2f%2fwww.comingsoon.net%2f%3fp%3d768657/RK=0/RS=ZmkkwDA789XVvb37gSuKo5UcCmA-http://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/768657-power-rangers-new-york-comic-con#/slide/1

Zords look bad ***. This just might be the movie that I'll actually see.

netflix's  is terrible... ugh

Was going to watch Suspiria but they are sticking that lame ***, Chloe Moretz from Vcarrie 2013 in it...

Chloe's not that bad... but why are they remaking it?? ugh. The style was so unique so i'm interested to see how they do it at least

Hollywood  is very shady mitch, and I'll leave it like that  #NoOriginality

Based on the last continuity 2 whcih do you guys prefer: Jason Goes to Hell or Jason X

They're both terrible, but I would pick Jason X because it's dumber.

And lights out is awful, don't get the hype whatsoever.

my horror/thriller of the day - Don't Look Now

edit: just finished and wow what a great movie!! a little slow, but amazing direction, acting, and story make up for that. Venice looks beautiful than ever in the film and the tension builds perfectly in the setting. Feelings of uneasiness, confusion, dread slowly build throughout the film... nothing is as it seems. The ending was great! I can see why it's on so many top horror movie lists

horror/thriller of the day - 1408

Horror movie of the day - Creep (2004)

Never seen this movie but saw it recommended in a buzzfeed article on best british horror films. Have to say it was AMAZING!!! I love Franka Potente so i'm surprised i've never seen it haha It was a great creature feature... it was like the Descent set in the Tube hahaha who knew Subway stations could be so ******* creepy haha would definitely recommend to others if you have not seen it!

on a side note i've been slacking in my horror-a-day marathon seeing as this is the first one i've watched since last wednesday - oops lol. I'll try to get back on track, but if i don't it doesn't really matter. i like that i'm getting the chance to check out movies i've never seen along with movies i haven't seen in a long time.

what should i watch next? See No Evil (1971) or The Wicker Man (1973)

saw Bridget Jones' Baby and The Girl on the Train recently in theatres. I'd give BJB a 7/10 and TGOTT a 6.5/10. BJB was surprisingly pretty funny albeit incredibly predictable... but it also felt exactly like the old films and right back in tune with the early 2000s british rom coms. I didn't much like the book for TGOTT, which i read last summer, but I was hoping it would be better as a movie. Turns out it was quite the opposite... the movie was an okay mystery, but there was no suspense and a lot of stupid characters (and I hated Emily Blunt's character even more in the movie than I did the book). I thought the twist was even more predictable in the movie, but the ppl I saw it with were pretty surprised so I guess it can fool some people lol

Mitch if you have Netflix I recommend watching The Invitation for your October movie fest. It's an ok horror movie with more of a mystery and drama feel. Not the best but if you're looking for any movies hit that up

watched that last year haha it was good! pretty slow but had some good tense moments

decided to watch the remake of Psycho... the movie was shit on by critics and fans alike for no other reason other than it was "pointless" as it was a shot-for-shot of the original. Now I loveeee the original, and Hitchcock is almost impossible to redo, but let me just say this film did not deserve the shit it got. It had an amazing cast, and the direction was very good... the music was unsettling as it was in the original and it was still creepy. Was Marion miscast? maybe a little... Anne Heche is a great actress but she just has that very "*****y" look about her... and even though Marion is a girl on the run with a bunch of loot, the original made you sympathize with her. In this you can't help but care much for her by the time she bites the dust. Still, the film is a decent effort and probably the best you are going to get when it comes to Hitchcock remakes. It was experimental for sure, but in a world where the 1960 version did not exist, reviews on this movie would be completely different and way more positive.

also side note: The last time (and only time) i saw this movie it was in a hotel on a road trip down to florida in the year 2000. not sure if it was playing on tv or my parents were watching it on payperview, but i did not sleep a wink that night that's for sure haha
