Quick q, do you guys all watch movies at the the movie theaters? Or do you guys go on a stream and watch it from there?
only the ones i really want to see haha - horror movies are usually a no unless its been raved about or its october lol, comedies if it's got a good cast, dramas if the reviews are coming in strong, and action movies if the budget is really high and its got a good director/cast lol
Finally got around to rewatching 12 Years A Slave again (last time I saw it was the day after its World Premiere back at TIFF in 2013, and my audience was lucky enough to do a Q&A with the whole cast). Just like back then when I knew it was going to be something special, and after seeing it I was completely blown away and extremely heartbroken, all of those emotions came rushing back to me upon second viewing. The script, the directing, the cast... everything about it was just perfect. I knew right after I saw it that it would win Best Picture, no doubt about it. To this day it still holds its ground and it is a film to be appreciated for decades to come. Raw and completely unrelenting, this was (and in some small ways still is) america... and it's truly a shame. Thank you Solomon Northrup for telling your story to the world.

Manchester by the sea, Sing Street? Next>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Although I'm glad you didn't recommend FLOP FLOP LandSing I saw yesterday and was popping
**** outta here ! Manchester By The Sea and Sing Street are perfection, any criticism directd towards them will be neglected. Speaking of films we shouldn't recommend, why is Hail Caesar on some top 10 lists ? It was GARBAGEEEEEEEE.

Ben Hur was awful too, boo. Don't forget that one.
If Moonlight is the one with the gay black guys I want to see it too. And it better get an award instead of that ******* Brokeback Mountain bulldyking shit. We all know Jake Gyleenhaal gets down but he gets all these male/female centered movies like the obsession one like he straight.
Just watched Schindler's List for the first time ever (i know, i know...) and I have to say that is without a doubt one of the most powerful moving movies I have ever seen in my life. Absolutely amazing and completely heart-wrenching. Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, and Ben Kingsley put on incredible performances. Could not stop crying for the last 10 minutes of that film... simply perfect. Why it took me this long to watch it, who knows... but at least i did and can now say, knowlingly, that that is one of the greatest films of all time.

Absolutely LOVED la la land.
Best movie of 2016 in my opinion was Arrival. Perfectly done and a great script.
