man i struggled to finish this. not sure why it got so many good reviews. then again i don't find anything zombie related scary at all :/ lol i do remember tho back when this was in theatres and i was way too scared to go see it haha
rewatched the conjuring 2 even though I said I'd never watch it again. It was surprisingly less scary and I noticed clues to the Demon's name throughout the entire movie before she found it in the bible. One example is Valak was in individual letters on the bookshelf when she was reading.

On IsoHunt but I like the first one. It was good to me, 2 was eh, but the third one made me want to shoot my foot but yet people hate on Ghostbuster ATC...like where are their priorities

well i liked it. it was hilarious and had the same charm as the first two... good thing they got the writers and directors of the original back.
what is Ghostbusters ATC? the new one with the girls?

Yep. Answer the Call is the rebranded subtitle. I haven't the slightest why they would rename it AFTER theatrical release or pull.

i liked the new ghostbusters as well. i ignored the haters and went in with low expectations... pleasantly surprised. can't believe how many ppl are still sexist.. the backlash on that movie was insane.. its 2016 man.

And then it started BEFORE the script BEFORE the casting and BEFORE the greenlight. People I'll tell you.
A tentative release date for the new (as of now) Friday the 13th is set for Ocotber 13, 2017. It will feature some semblance of an origin story for Jason and Mrs. Voorhies but is not the main plot.
As for Halloween Returns, Carpenter will produce it! "I want to make the 10th sequel the scariest of them all".
horror movie double feature - Poltergeist II: The Other Side & Poltergeist III
I'm saving the original for closer to halloween, but i always wanted to watch the sequels. Apparently i knew nothing about the second one (had probably only seen it once when i was a kid) so it was nice to see the freeling family together again fighting more ghosts. The CGI was pretty bad in this one (even moreso than the original lol) but for what its worth I enjoyed the storyline. It was creepy and definitely had some good moments! (like when the dad gets possessed after drinking the worm in the tequila haha).
I didn't remember ever seeing the third entry until i watched it tonight when i realized, holy shit, i watched this at my grandpas house when i was a kid so many times. it made me terrified of mirrors and elevators. While the story was pretty stretched (Carol Anne's family just sent her away to live with relatives for a whole year? after all the shit she went through?), I actually thought it had some decent scares. It was crazy OTT (but all of them are - thats why i love the series so much haha) and the camera angles and lack of CGI made it so much better. I loved all the camera tricks they did with the mirrors!! So cool and i'm surprised they didn't slip up once by getting cameras in the shots haha
I think this is probably my favourite horror trilogy... I just loved all three movies. they weren't outstanding, but they were fun supernatural horror stories that can give any kid the creeps.. even today.
Johnny Cash's "hurt" sold this trailer to me. LolI feel like it's going to be sad since it's Hugh Jackmans last showing as Wolverine.
it was good until i realized it was an x-men movie... then i was just like wtf? this looks like an interesting drama with a little bit of sci-fi elements. this looks nothing like an x-men movie. hopefully its just how they made the trailer and the movie has a more superhero vibe to it.
Hmmm. Is X-23 going to be the new wolverine? Time line wouldn't make sense but when has the X-Men MCU timeline ever made sense? Its all over the place get your shit together FOX or sell the rights back to marvel. It's stewarts last X-Men film as well.

Marvel is phasing out the X-men like they did with Fantastic four in the comics. So, X-Men, will probably be Fox's entirerly to do with.

Phasing out? Where'd you heard that?
I was reading it on the web. The did that with FF. The only two FF members is Richard's and Sue's child whom I believe is an Avenger now, and Ben (the boulder guy) who is a Gaurdians now.
Apparently the gas that makes an Inhuman also kills the X-Men. Since they can't make full profit on X-Men and their comics don't sell, they might as well, phase them out. There was also a poster that went out for an Inhumans comic called "Ressurection" with the X-men symbol and Inhuamn's symbol.
I didn't look too much into, but it makes sense. X-men movies are owned by Fox, right? Disney and Marvel make partial profit from the films and their comics don't sell as well anymore. So why not, right?
