Thought i'd make an individual board for this since Netflix has sort of become a creative powerhouse for original tv shows, movies, and documentaries (along with being just a regular streaming service). Share your recommendations, express your opinions on new shows, rate netflix originals, and be shameless about how many hours you spend binge watching your old school favourites (Full House & Fresh Prince FTW).
just finished watching the new Netflix documentary "Amanda Knox", obviously about her media circus of an italian trial, and it was amazing!!! I really didn't know much about the case going in, except for the fact that I knew she was accused of murdering her roommate and that she got off. But that was about it. To see all the sloppy investigation work with real footage, the insane media that followed the case causing public outcries, hearing the key players actual testimonies and phone conversations, as well as their own points of view to this day, was really eye opening and very unbiased. They definitely leave it up to the viewer to decide their stance on the murder, which I like since the whole thing reminded me a lot of "making a murderer" (another great show that everyone needs to watch if you love documentaries about murder haha).
For me personally, I believe in her innocence, and the fact that she was in jail in a foreign country for 4 years for a crime she did not commit is absolutely terrifying.
Highly recommened!!
Favorite shows are Stranger Things, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage which I'm currently watching.
also i'm loving Luke Cage atm!!! Netflix is really knocking it out of the park with their Marvel series
yes to all of the above!!
I just finished Buck Angel's documentary
Altered Carbon needs to arrive ASAP.
Series of Unfortunate Events, wya?
I've watched a couple North Korean documentaries and they are extremely fascinating. The level of oppression and brainwashing that the government has on these people is sad but I'm glad an American group got access to come in the country and expose it.
Titanic is back on Netflix today!
Ive binged watched The Office(US), OITNB, Parks and Rec, and AHS. I haven't seen stranger things yet.
I binged watched Psych which they took off Netflix today.
but actually!!! i've been dying to watch this adaption, especially with Handler writing the scripts. Those were my favourite books as a kid and I always hate that they only adapted the first 3 for the big screen. I still enjoy watching the Jim Carrey version, despite them ******* up the storyline aha
OMG WATCH IT
Watching Titanic and I have a feeling I'm going to cry at the end.
The Get Down and Luke Cage. 'Nuff said.
Finna start Twin Peaks. ✌️
The dvd is less expensive.....lmao and at wal mart.
Finally a good recommendation and sense.
That was a dumb *** move. Pysch was amazing yo. Sirens should be on their too. Netflix is all around a ripoff to be perfectly honest.
Hulu just added Smallville! Never got to finish watching the series as a kid so I'm excited.
Finished Luke Cage today and my only complaint is that I want more.
The cast was stellar and even with the violence they had me wanting to move to Harlem.
Voltron season two looks amazing as well. But given it's from the creators of Avatar: The Last Airbender, I expected nothing less.
AHHHHH IM SCREAMING!!!! my favourite series from when i was a kid!! and Friday the 13th, how fitting hahaha
I do have a huge gripe though.. Patrick Warburton is not Lemony Snicket. Not at all. Soooo miscast but at least he's not part of the actual storyline lol
"It smells more Chinese now. A bit sweet n sour" I'm crying, this man went to the local restaurants and he's disgusted how they eat insects as starters and he's going off
"look at her, just look at the way she's looking at the insect before stuffing her face. Should I eat the head or the **** first. What does she do when she wakes up and sees a spider in the bath? 'Oh good, I'll just save the croissant for tomorrow, I'll eat that now.'"
Im crying at this show
LMAOOOO
"they don't even have doors, what if someone is in the middle of taking one and someone walks in? And no toliet paper? So what do you do? Just pull your pants up and walk on? I'm not saying they need toliet paper, if that's what they do that's what they do. I just didn't know that, I didn't think China was gonna be like this. I thought this is where they made the iPod." Omggjeowlwlowh
"I think I got the wrong place, cause this ain't the place where they need an iPod"
lol what show is this?
also so pumped for Black Mirror Season 3 tomorrow!!! Thank god Netflix revived this amazing british show... so excited to see what they have done with it
An idiot aboard, it's ******* hilarious.
this man just dogged the shit out of THE Great Wall of China. The disrespect is life.
igot to check this out
"It was heavily restored in the 50's and 80's. So the old stuff is gone? So it doesn't count. you can't call this a wonder if you built something on top of it, if it's not what it says on the tin. What I'm looking at is basically a Whimpy home."
"What's this all about? They have bears here? It's almost like they knew the wall wasn't that good so they threw them here. Look at the driver, he's getting into it he's throwing fruits at the Bears. Tbh, I feel like jumping in there it's the first normal food I've seen here. If that was a toad with a tumor on its head I'm sure he'll be having a mouthful."
