also so pumped for Black Mirror Season 3 tomorrow!!! Thank god Netflix revived this amazing british show... so excited to see what they have done with it
just watched the first episode of Black Mirror S.3 "San Junipero" and I have to say that was amazing!!! the cinematic quality, the story, the fleshed out characters, the music (my god i love the 80s haha), the TWIST, the bittersweet ending (unusual for BM's typical dark endings)... I just loved everything about it!! It felt so different from the first two seasons, which i was expecting, but once you understand why and how it fits in with the Black Mirror theme its awesome.
And woo for it featuring an LGBT couple without anyone batting an eye haha
EDIT: that was weird... San Junipero was listed as the first episode but now its the 4th...
like all of it? lol its an anthology about how technology can and will **** us in the future
yes all of it. The guy in the first episode ****s a pig. Then there's an episode where the guy is forced to watch **** bc he doesn't have enough points to turn it off, ends up winning some contest and moving on from that life, only to work for the people that put him there to begin with.

... in a good way haha like the trailer for S3 said "the twilight zone for the digital age". It's scary, its weird, its creepy... and who knows, maybe its realitstic? Like in the premiere of S1 with the PM ******* a pig to save a girl. Only to find out that he never had to, and it was just the ****** up creators of that game trying to see if the public was really sick enough to all view it live on TV. meanwhile the girl is already returned before the act has even begun. Messed up, but it shows that the public crave ****** up tv (and in this day and age that still rings very true). It's brutally honest about how we deal with technology and a cautionary tale for how technology can and will change for the worse.
just finished another two stories from Black Mirror. "Nosedive" was eerily reminscent of today, and how everyone searches for "likes" on social media platforms to gain a better image by their peers. Here its taken to a whole new level, where every interaction you have with someone is rated on a scale of 1-5. Bryce Dallas Howard is amazing as the central character, who's rating is high, but just not high enough to attain the perfect life she craves. And when an opportunity arises that will boost her image and make her part of the popular crowd, well as you can tell by the title, things take quite a different turn.
The second ep, "Playtest", was an awesome episode for people that love gaming. It was fun, creepy, and most of all extremely ****** up. And the ending was in totally classic Black Mirror style. That game would surely scare the **** out of me... no siree, no thank you.
just finished Season 3 of Black Mirror... phenomenal. the budget netflix gave brooker was just what this show needed! amazing productions for each episode. Brooker once again is such a creative and inventive storyteller. It was nice to see a change with one or two episodes having hopeful, and somewhat positive endings rather than the bleak downers that we have come to know the show by. The finale (Hated in the Nation) was definitely up there with San Junipero as the best of the season (and series itself). My rating of all 6 new episodes would be (from best to pretty good):
I have to finish Season 3, but from what I'm seeing is that there is a recurring issue with this season. Everything is like 15 minutes too long. It affects the story, and Nosedive was a prime example of it. If the episode was at its original time length, it would have been a bit more effective. Although, I really loved the sorta X-file-esque-procedural-dective-drama-like episode that is Hated in the Nation. It was pretty cool how they took the concept of lack of concequences of social media hatred and made it into a thriller.
Playtest was also pretty cool and it was pretty shocking ending, but it felt really forced. The visuals were amazing as per usual. One thing I love about Black Mirror is that every episode is it's tight little world, so different, but you don't need an excrutiating amoun of exposition to learn about those worlds.
Black Mirror Nosedive episode annoyed me, San Juniper was good tho. Although I'm confused, Greg (I think?) was the person she was marrying right? But like when she was an old woman he looked like he could've been her son......
nosedive has such a gobby ending, which for me, killed it. the utopia was great, but the story killed it for me. Highlight was that chick from chewing gum (shitty Netflix show btw).
Anyone else upset bloodline is ending after season3? I really like this show. The story is great but I can see why it lacks continuation for many seasons

Have yet watched season 2. Is it good? Cause I really loved the first season.

I really enjoyed it. I love the scenery in the movie and how intense season 2 gets. Season 3 in '17.
I need to try Bloodline season 2. It was so delayed I almost forgot what happened so I wasn't really interested in the first two episodes I saw of it :/
The Crown is brilliant. I have loved every episode so far (6 episodes in atm)anyone else watching?
Me! Finished it Saturday
Just finished it!! Amazing series... and that musicccc!!!! I recognized a Hans Zimmer sound right away and turns out he created the opening theme and his former colleague does the show's music. So goood
Brendan Dasey was released today. Shoutout to making a murderer.
Hannah? Hannah? Hannah? I didn't know you were Mitsuko fan? Everyone here should watch Battle Royale. It totally blows that Hunger Games trash shit OUT OF THE WATER.
Still haven't seen Stranger things
idk why. Just always find something else to watch.

Amanda Knox was a great documentary.

The hunting ground and Audrie & daisy were great docs to watch

Hmm now kinda wanna watch bloodline again lol. I really haven't watched Netflix in like 4 months for some reason. Really missing out on so many shows
Might watch Netflix series Roman Empire Reign Of Blood. 1 season of 6 episodes so can finish pretty quick.
Bloodline has been on my watchlist forever. Ugh I really need to start watching it on of these days.
As for it ending after only 3 seasons, maybe it's better to end it on a high note than keep dragging it (cough PLL cough).
I need to try Bloodline season 2. It was so delayed I almost forgot what happened so I wasn't really interested in the first two episodes I saw of it :/
Brendan Dasey was released today. Shoutout to making a murderer.
Cant wait for season 2. Fantastic documentary show.
I watched Meet the Blacks the others day and it was Amazing
The Crown is brilliant. I have loved every episode so far (6 episodes in atm)
