Netflix is just killin it!!!! They are doubling the amount of original shows they already have for 2016!!! I still hate the company for getting rid of my beloved Blockbuster, but I can't deny how amazing their original shows are, so this is a great early christmas present
Saw several promos for Shanara Chronicals. Shit still looking awful.
Watch that shit bombs like Eye Candy did.
I hate to say it, but this is probably true... MTV is the worst network for scripted television unless its teen soapy stuff (degrassi, scream, etc)(except even that doesn't hold true because I guess you could put Eye Candy in that boat as well lol)... I just don't see it doing well. A shame after how much money and work they put into it... time will tell, i guess.
I finally picked up Breaking Bad again (made it midway through Season 2 and quit because nothing was picking up... everyone kept telling me "It gets good at the end! keep on trying!" but i gave up).... started watching where I last left off (had to wiki past events to catch me up to speed), and I hate to say it, but it is ******* AMAZING!!! hahaha boy was I wrong... Season 3 is crazyyy!! (and im only halfway through ahha) Can't wait to watch the rest now
I don't know why I have avoided Mr Robot for so long after hearing how amazing the first season was.... I always just came under the assumption that it was some weird sci-fi show set in the future (like the failed minority report tv show lol). Finally I checked out the premiere tonight and holy ****!!!! Not what I was expecting AT ALL!!!! It really is flippin amazing. I feel like such an idiot for passing on this show for so long... time to binge season one haha

I couldn't even get through the first episode. Is not that I found it boring, but the main character was so grating to me. I'm gonna give it another shot some day because all I hear is good stuff about it, but it did not make a good impression on me.

I find its basically the equivalent of Suits (another USA scripted show) but for hackers haha... suits is all about a guy breaking the rules and working as a fake lawyer for some top dogs in nyc... mr robot is all about a security programmer faking his job and working a double life as a hacker into his own company's clients in nyc. They both have really similar vibes to me... both very techinical scripts with a whole lotta talking and mumbo jumbo that wont make much sense to the casual viewer haha but it still amazes me how they do things. I don't know anything about the hacker world, but I definitely find it interesting and honestly quite scary how easy it is for some.
I get the appeal, but I can also understand why it might be a tad boring/grating... the main character has a lot of mental issues (thats the whole play on the title, its the name of a fake company in the show, but he's also like a robot himself: expresses no emotion, only concern is to figure things out, always feels the need to understand every situation he is put it). In some ways he comes off as a much more serious Sheldon Cooper, who I find is one of the most annoying characters on tv (yet somehow he can still make me chuckle lol), but I feel the show is going to dig a lot more into his social anxiety problems. I'd definitely give it another shot!
They need more shows on network television. I find it assinine to pay for shows
you pay for television... imo Netflix is worth it. And god knows what they'll bump up the price to in the future, so get it now while its cheap.
Thats true but I'm ACCUSTOMED to paying for television. And the selection of things on Netflix is wretched. Like they still have Stabler episodes of SVU on there like its brand new
I like it for OITNB and some old school/rare new school horror movies but other than that the shit is overhyped andlame.

Degrass did bad too I mean what the **** from 10-15 there were like 40-90 epsidoes a season, like the timeline was all ****** up in the game as well.

is mr. robot the one from USA? I liked it but the episode titles needed some help. And the lead was so ******* ugly i found him sexy
just finished Please Like Me season 3 and I must say that that was one of the best seasons of any comedy/drama i've ever seen. They really upped their game, and everyone was well highlighted throughout the season. It amazes me how much the show has blossomed and continued to tell interesting stories from its first season about dating in the gay world right after coming out and mental illness issues. Fantastic cast.. Josh Thomas who writes, directs, and stars in it (like Lena Dunham), is just hilarious and heartfelt in every way, no matter how dark the subject matter.. Always able to turn such a depressing or awkward situation into something lighthearted. Hoping it gets a season 4!!! it'll make you laugh and cry and everything in between... great little show that everyone should check out!
I read this in an article and thought it was very true to the show: "This delightful little show is amazing. It’s funny, emotional, and poignant in ways for twenty somethings that I haven’t seen before on television, even with the shows that seem targeted at our demographic. Josh Thomas and co. have created a show that speaks to millennials without speaking down to them and without presenting an idealistic lifestyle that’s unachievable. It’s frank, and it’s open, and it’s naturalistic in a way where I’ve watched the show, listened to what the characters have said, and thought, “I see myself in them. I’ve said that. I’ve DONE that.”"
What's everyone top 3 shows right now? Mine are: Game of Thrones, The 100 and The Leftovers.Runner up: Vikings.I just got caught up on Vikings and it is sooooo good.
2015 was a GREAT year for television, so it's really hard to pick a top 3 for me, but i'll go with: The Leftovers (S2), Fargo (S2), Hannibal (S3)
Other favourite shows from 2015 were: UnREAL, Mr Robot, Narcos, Jessica Jones, Bloodline, House of Cards (S3), Ash vs Evil Dead, and The Affair (S2) (there are probably more I just can't think of atm)
New shows i'm most excited to see in 2016 are: Vinyl, Westworld, American Crime Story: The People Vs OJ Simpson, The X-Files, and Twin Peaks (although that's now premiering at the beginning of 2017)

Parks & Rec (even though it ended, this will always be my favorite show), Mad Men and The Americans (as you can see I'm a sucker for period dramas).
This was harder to choose than I would have thought.

You have to watch it, both The Americans and Fargo. They both keep getting better and better as time goes on.
I watched the first episode of Vikings, but that was so long ago so maybe I'll appreciate it more now.
I still have to watch the second season of The 100, but I've heard it's way better than the first one. The third season starts in like a month so looks like I'm binge-watching it during my break.

Well in TSC defense they do have a dystopian vibe to it while Eye Candy was a book and never would've lasted ANYWAY.

actually kind of excited for this
It would've been nice to see the Michelles but other than that this looks like trash.

Also, Westworld needs to premiere like now. I've been waiting for that thing for forever and it seems like it's never gonna start.
This! Excited to see how they **** it up
1) Law &Order SVU
2) Chicago P.D.
3) Black-ish
Overrated but then again I was more into 30 rock.
I heard The Americans was good but haven't watched it yet, same with Fargo.
But y'all really need to get on Vikings and The 100, if you're into that type of stuff. Lol
Nostalgic did you really say SVU? Lol.
Sooo good and underrated.
he did... smdh
1. Game of Thrones
2. Fargo
3. The Leftovers
4. Sense8
It was too hard to pick 3.
omg i forgot about Sense8!! Another great show from 2015!

That show has been on my watchlist forever. I was planning on starting House of Cards, but should I watch this first?
