The Challenge: Seasons Synopsis

The problem I had with The Gauntlet 3 is that the cast was WAY TOO BIG. 32 people? 16 people in the final?

I could've done without Adam/Eric/Zach/Tyrie/Diem/Casey/Rachel/Brooke

Inferno III

The gang travels to Capetown as Jenn & Tyrie try to prove themselves in another Good Guys vs. Bad ***** competition.  CT takes a swing at Davis the first night in Africa & is sent home in what will become an awful habit of his.  Derrick replaces him on the Bad *** squad.  Challenge clown Ace, makes it to the finals for once.  Susie somehow convinces the Good Guys to help her earn immunity each time she is voted into the Inferno by the Bad ***** & she somehow dodges the elimination round almost every time.  A severe lack of many likeable players makes Inferno III pretty forgettable.  Cara’s last challenge appearance.  High Point-Tonya earns her one & only challenge win.  Low Point-The I Hate Tonya game perpetuated by Susie, Cara & Colie is embarr***ingly immature, even for these challenge morons.  Jenn defeats Rachel in 'ejection' & the former marine has a hot mess of a breakdown & storms out of the arena.  Historical Moment-Derrick gets his first hard-earned victory.  The show loses one if its premier players when after being eliminated by Abe in an Inferno technicality, Timmy bids a fond farewell to the challenges with a cl***y exit speech. Ahhh! this challenge marked the start of Evelyn's domination! or like Kenny said "EV-OLUTION BABY, EVOLUTION". I also loved how the girls where mad at her after she outperformed them on the first misison and Ev was like "I beat them on the first individual challenge, and they can't allow that" lol love her.

But other than that and Timmys goodbye, this challenge in general was kind of boring. Can't quite determine why though, but it was just not entertaining nor exciting, IMO. Ohh and the eliminations were pretty horrible too.

The Island

A season where the cast is trapped on a deserted isle didn’t sound like the worst idea ever.  However, add in the fact that there are ZERO challenges or pre-determined teams & disappointment sets in immediately.  While the Face-Offs provided some much needed competition, most of the time our competitors are forced to bicker over food portions or frolic in the ocean (see Kenny & Johanna’s vomit inducing tribute to From Here To Eternity.)  Rachel finally returns after a 3 year break.  This is Dunbar & Dan’s introduction to the show.  Paula’s craziness fully emerges.  High Point-KellyAnne, in her 1st challenge, takes out Vets Robin & Rachel in physically taxing endurance round & earns herself a key to one of the boats. Low Point-Johnny sinks to new depths when he continuously harasses Evelyn with verbal jabs.  Dave wimps out majorly in episode 2 & quits the game.  Robin breaking down & begging the cast not to vote her off is just sad & quite frankly, pathetic.  Historical Moment-After a season of abuse at the mouths of Kenny, Paula & Johnny Bananas, Evelyn joins forces with Johnny & Kenny to sail one of the final boats to The Island.  In doing so, she screws over Paula, whom the guys backstab in order to secure Johnny a key & Evelyn a spot on the boat.                                                     C +

you forgot when Dan had a limp *****.

Evelyn's speech when she took Johnny's key was an "Historical Moment" on The Island, IMO. That along with her doing the smartest thing she could and aligning with Johnny, Kenny and Derrick to secure the win.

That wasn't even historical IMO and it's not because I hate all the parties involved in that. I just didn't care because either way the ***** if the season was going to come out on top.

That season was terrible.

It would've been historical had she not been a complete idiot on the prior Challenge. Although JEK is JEK I also didn't feel sorry for Evelyn on either this one or The Ruins because it was her karma.

I hated that Tonya, Rachel and Abram had to leave in the first three episodes of The Island. It sucks knowing that if Abram didn't leave on his own terms, Johnny for sure would've been eliminated.

Yep..Had Evelyn not acted the way she did on The Gauntlet 3 I would have rooted for her on The Island.

Evelyn most def deserved everything she got on The Island.  I just hate that it was delivered to her by someone that also deserved his commeuppance.

LOL there was a bonus uncensored scene of Robin getting mad at KellyAnne for telling people about it. It was hilarious. She was looking around for KellyAnne, acting all gangster and screamed "Where's KellyAnne?! That ***** is gonna get KILLED!"

Yep thats one of the only videos I have of the island on my ps4 along with the island reunion. KA st8 up owned that shit! Dan was like "you liked that thing so ******* take it!" and everyone was like take it back chanting, lol.

Basically, Abram leaving the Island created JEK. If Abram stayed, Bananas would have been eliminated. Then Evan or Bananas would have to fight to see who won Duel 2. Evan or Bananas would have been on the Challengers team on The Ruins.

I still love the moment of Ev taking Bananas' key. It didn't bother me at all how she acted on Gauntlet 3 and everything fr the speech to the music to Johnny not even having enough class to hand the key to her. Only downside is knowing she made a deal with them. Tbh I would have preferred seeing Evelyn screw Johnny than win.

Oh, God.  You're right.  **** that Abram!

Wait I'm confused how does Bananas losing mean he goes on Duel 2?

Just assuming that he would of kept playing until he won one.

bananas doing the hookah would've been awesome

The Duel II

It may as well be subtitled Paranoia.  The Duel is supposed to be an individual challenge, but when the entire season has the players obsessing over the ridiculous “list,” & which guy will choose which girl in what sequence, things become horribly dull.  The embarrassing opening sequence that has the cast performing a bizarre tribal ritual especially grates on the nerves & having that dumb moose Evan front & center, solidifies it as one of the most cringe-worthy credits ever for the series.  Shauvon graces the show with her athletic prowess.  Front runner Landon is tossed into elimination & loses to Brad right before the finals.  Ruthie is shockingly taken out of the game by a scrappy Kimberly.  High Point-There aren’t many, unfortunately.  Seeing Rachel get a solo victory was nice though.  Low Point-Evan narrowly edges out Brad for first place in the finals.  Having the girls & guys work together may have played a part in slowing Brad down & denying him his first win.  Historical Moment-In a rather brutal, drunken display, CT lashes out at Adam for talking to Diem about the former couple’s relationship & proceeds to sucker punch him & chase him around the mansion like a deranged serial killer.  After many smashed doors, bloodshed & screaming, cast mates trying to intervene, CT is eventually subdued & he & Adam are sent home for fighting.                                                                           C

That season really should be an F. The Duel 2 was just plain boring and forgettable. Aside from the CT/Adam debacle nothing of note happend.

Landon really should have won this season though.

I loved the Duel 2 missions. Also, there were some memorable elimination rounds from that season. Shavoun vs. Aneesa, Ruthie vs. Kimberly, Landon vs. Brad. Duel 2 was ok

The Duel II was just so predictable. I was really disappointed when Ruthie got eliminated early because I think she would've done well in the individual missions and the final challenge.

Ruthie just lost all of her mojo after Sexes 1.  She was almost like a flash in the pan.  She should have beaten Kim easily.

Duel 2 had too many ********.  Worst challenge of all time.

I agree. Sexes 1 was her best challenge showing. She still impressed me though during that rope challenge on Duel 2 when she beat Brittini, Kim, Paula and Tori.
